- Maxjax by Bendpak M6K lift. I bought this lift just a few months ago and it is supposed to be an improvement over the last design since Bendpak took it over.
I have to say in very happy with the lift. easy install amd runs on any 110 outlet. Lifts my small tucks as well as my 2011 Suburban.

Nicely edited to only show steps that's necessary without making a long video
Jasper!!! That cat was hilarious.
spent a half day on mine and not halfway there, only one post is done.
still need to measure and drill holes, its a tough slog.
don't be fooled by this video.... its rather hard work.
i'll get an energy drink before going at it again.
Hey MT. Good video. Great job. Even better that you did it yourself. I had a buddy help me. I installed one in my shop in the spring It sure is nice not crawling on the floor anymore. I can walk under mine. Thanks for sharing.🍁👍👍
Great video. Very thorough. Nice lift. Thank for posting it.
Outstanding video! This just convinced me to buy a MaxJax. Thank you!
I took the edge off of the safety lever with a file and used liquid rubber dipping coating on the lever and springs which will stop the possibility of scratching the post. You can also build up shrink wrap the accomplish the same result.
I've been hesitant thanks you convinced me and they are on sale now.
I just installed my 2nd MaxJax and DO NOT USE the crappy thread sealer they give you unless you wanna be doing it again, it will leak like hell. I have used teflon tape both times after redoing it as the Danmar instructions used to say and it doesn't leak, also use teflon on the quick connects or they will leak. I also use a quality epoxy by Sika ($30 bucks at Lowes, )along with the floor inserts, just extra piece of mind. He also forgot the rubber pad between the motor in this video, (so did I on 2nd lift) had to go back and put it on. And during install you don't "set the nut on inserts to 90lb/lbs", that's after inserts are already installed to secure post and is really overkill, only needs about 50-60 lb/lbs. Also don't bleed the cylinders until after you raise it. Also use a level on post. There are better install videos than this guy, sorry bud. ua-cam.com/video/6BGCqzKzqds/v-deo.html . You don't need the safety clips on the pins unless you don't ever want to move it, they are so heavy they aren't going anywhere. I like the sacrificial cat and truck for the first test. ;)
Great assembly tutorial video. Im consider what type of lift i want to get and the MaxJax is looking more and more like what Im going to choose. I wish I would have bought one a year ago before the prices skyrocketed on everything. Thanks for posting
Im going to mount mine outside
Enjoy and stay safe👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
the cat was saying you better check that driveshaft u joint, i think it's going bad 😄😄
Excellent video.
I just bought a Max Jax. I was wondering if the 123" from the back of one column to the front of the other worked well?
Wondering if that distance worked well.
Trying to figure out how far to put mine apart.
Thank you.
Good job crossing your line to make sure it is square. most people don't do that..
i just brought a max jax waiting for delivery its mk7 what size is the bolt head on anchor
How far apart did you instal your posts? inside to inside and outside to outside?
question for you MT offroad I'm thinking of buying this lift. I would like Savoy according to you it can fit in my garage I have just 134 inches wide from wall to wall thank you
Nice vid guess you didn't hit any rebar when you where drilling? for those of you doing the install mark your holes and drill with a smaller bit like 1\4 inch or so to determine if your going to hit any rebar then readjust that way if you do have to readjust your floor doesn't look like Swiss cheese drilling a 7/8 hole unnecessarily can effect the integrity of the concrete when pounding in the incerts
drill through rebar with a rebar demon. $30.
put your lift anywhere you want.
truck isn't exactly stable on those arms.
