Technically if it is "1" + "1", then it is taken as a string, not a number. So in that case, it becomes 11 even though there is the add function. This is called concatenation of strings. You can check it out. It's a feature in programming.

Calculus is a very extended subject, as someone who has a major in applied mathematics, one of the most difficult transitions I had was going from pre-calculus to derivates, analyzing functions, parametric equations, limits and continuity, and matrix transformations. As a family full of mathematicians, at the age of 12 or so they forced me into learning trigonometry, matrices (took a long way to understand the inverse of matrices), and complex probability.

I’m good at math but I love how she is ready to pounce on any opportunity to solve an equation... she is unafraid to try. I enjoy mental math and logic but I prefer science over math. Let’s all take a lesson from her and try at anything, whether it be math or not, without the fear of making mistakes. Easier said than done, but will become doable with practice.

I don't mind that she is good at math and passionate about it,
but it wouldn't kill her to go out with some friends

What about kids who are stuck in doors all day playing video games or watching Netflix which doesn't even necessarily help them. You wouldn't tell them the same thing.

The konigsberg Bridge problem is one of the first problems introduced to a student in Graph Theory, the study of Graphs. A graph is a mathematical object that describes a relationship between objects (its basically just dots connected to other dots).
Euler was presented this problem by the townspeople of konigsburg; they simply couldn't find a way to structure a parade that crosses every bridge exactly once. Euler proved that it can not be done: this is known as an Eularian circuit; this is only possible when every node as an even degree. If you have a land mass with an odd number of bridges, it is impossible to do.

The fact that she thinks of her brother as her teacher and not her competitor is amazing 🙊
I sometimes feel competitive with my brother 😂

She has such a wonderful talent at such a young age. Her mom and brother are so supportive which is the important thing that keep pushing her forwward and not letting the girl be in to much stress. Congratulations 🎉🎉

This is the amazing stuff that happens when kids are nurtured from a young age to pursue their passions! :D
