First, this hostage was forcefully and violently kidnapped, then held captive in this "civilian" home where he was malnourished. The cake was used to taunt him, not to celebrate his birthday. Lastly, the hostage was not "released" as you declared in your report, he was rescued by IDF special forces under very dangerous conditions in which one of the soldiers was killed by the Gazans. The line between Hamas and Gazan "civilians" is almost nonexistent. Most of the people in Gaza willingly cooperate with and work with the Hamas terrorists, and celebrated the massacre of October 7th.
