Hello, my name is Amaterasu and I'm a Top 500 support player (Was also T500 tank and has hit T500 DPS when bored in OW 2. I started this channel after falling into the Overwatch 2 content rabbit hole and watching a lot of videos by top overwatch streamers and content creators like Marblr, Super, KarQ, Flats, Emongg, Jay3, ZBRA, Eskay, Skiesti, among many others. Yep. You can definitely see where the bias came in when considering these changes. Did we really need Ana buffs even though she's been basically an amazing flex pick ever since her release?
Personally the fact that it's over the top stupid is why I love it. Since it's just a side mode and doesn't effect the main game I'm all for it.
As a bastion main who usually dives in for the funny, the nuke is greatly appreciated
Some of it is good, like teammates getting a notification when they're getting healed by brig, and some are potentially interesting like the cooldown reducation based on somethkng happening, but like... whats with Junkrats new ult?
Ngl first game i picked roadhog without reading what was changed and hook my self off the map trying to get a Pharah

I feel like the Ravenous Vortex change should stay. Maybe not that big since i feel like the radius is fine, but like, the selling point of the ability is that it pulls enemies DOWN...make it mean something and fix the height of it. Make it a huge pillar that pulls enemies from the sky

I really enjoy that they do the creator changes event. It just goes to show that creators have no idea what they're talking about when it comes to changes to the game.
it's really funny and chaotic because you can definitely notice the creators that take it seriously and those who don't and just make the heroes fun and overpowered
@@luciots134 Eskay originally basically nerfed every support until she heard of the other changes, then she had to change it last second lmao, but it's really fun! Especially Ball's!
agreed, this is literally the most pathetic changes ever, they turned half the characters into sonic knockoffs. I actually expected good changes.

The only reason I can tolerate her - my dps can switch to her to counter widow, another cancer hero

I think they need to create a cutscene where Sombra dies so the lore makes sense when they take her out of the game

There is no way they would put this much effort into a “temporary” game mode. The amount of time programming and adjusting stats would be insane. They are definitely testing out a few potential rework abilities/ideas to see how the community feels about it
Should have done 6v6 but then again that would require the team to admit they were wrong
they shoulda made it 6v6 just to fuck with the devs (the game director probably forbode it due to it being actually good
Two of the people behind this gamemode are against bringing back 6v6
Honestly needed this, it was a struggle trying to read the notes and decide who I want to play as before the match and can’t do it mid match

For brig I would've given her the ability to overload like torb.
For moira I would make her purple orb give the weaken effect, it was such a fun ability to use in experimental

Eskay was not cooking with mercy imo
Having a temporary rez completely defeats the point of rez and makes pulling off one pointless, especially in situations where a rez is done to undo a mistake like a stray widow kill.
There's no point to rez someone if all it does is make it take longer to be sent back to the spawn room.
It's clear that aone of the support changes were made for dun but a lot of them were real gems with a lot of thought behind them
So thats why Phera was whooping me the the boyz yesterday.
I played this game mode and forgot it was from the community until after the match was over
His name is Jesse McCree.
The hero was originally named after a blizzard employee who then s*xulally assaulted someone in the office. The heroes name was chaned because blizzard didnt want anything to do with him
@@wafflestcattash4818 That's crazy, but overwatch is a video game and McCree is a fictional character with a name that is most commonly associated with classic western themes and other games such as Mad Dog McCree.
Sorry if you can't differentiate fiction from reality. Maybe your genshin characters can comfort you
@@Flandre-Scarlet why are you acting as if this person is responsible for Cassidy's name change? All they did is explain why it got changed, they didn't even necessarily say they agreed with it.
On that note, his name is Cole Cassidy now and its not changing back. You're just gonna have to deal with it.
@@starsnoireart it's to show how strange it makes one look for being unable to differentiate fiction and reality. The name change would not have happened in the first place if people had spoken up about it instead of being silenced. Though it wasn't until the steam reviews that blizzard was unable to delete and censor feedback.

The PR team realized that having a character named after a predator in their company would be stupid if they were trying to keep their inclusive image. They changed his name to avoid having the players associate Cassidy's old name with a predator, thus associating their company with harassment.
Appealing to people who think like you isn't a priority to Blizzard. They were going through a lot at the time and were practicing damage control in any way they could.
If you want to call him McCree then no one will care, but that isn't his name anymore.

Without these changes genji was the worst dps in the game but now with these changes genji is BY FAR the worst dps

Honestly terrible event. They tweaked certain heroes way too much compared to others. I mean Ram's changes are so lazy that it's insane. They didn't even try.

@@--Glory-- Life Grip is strong but it comes at the cost of stopping pushes and losing space. The cooldown reduction is just fine honestly
@@aidanwissing6799 That’s exactly why it shouldn’t be buffed though. Life Grip when used well is an ability that denies enemy plays with the press of a button, and when used poorly can actively hinder your team, (intentionally or not). An ability with the potential to be both that powerful and detrimental SHOULD have a long cooldown, because the only skill expression involved is choosing the optimal time to use it.
