Hi Steven, the reason your internal audio is old stock is because you are missing the .prs files for this aircraft (it should using prs name ' Rolls-Royce-Merlin ' ). To use correct audio for this aircraft, you may either download & use strangelove sound pack, OR instead you can quickly do the following to get this aircraft using the audio you already have for other merlin aircraft... Go to your sound folder \my_presets\sounds Find your preferred merlin sound set. (merlin xx?) .Prs files (3 .prs files) Open & save each .Prs to new Prs with names as followed ; motor.Rolls-Royce-Merlin.prs motor.Rolls-Royce-Merlin.start.begin.prs motor.Rolls-Royce-Merlin.start.end.prs ... Alternatively, with a bit of effort you could download the strangelove sound pack & copy only all relevant files into your my_presets my_sounds folders, this however would take a little time to do. Doing this you will need to open each Rolls-Royce-Merlin prs & look at all wav names listed, then copy only these from the strangelove pack to your il2 my_sounds folders, not forgetting to copy all the Rolls-Royce-Merlin prs files into your my_presets. The mod was made with out the correct sound files only this mod the rest of the hurricanes work with the new sound mod
you didnt use the correct .prs or sound-set for this ac, works fine on all my installs with new RR sounds
