gitgud, but i'll watch that progression for sure
Past, present, and the future. We see Kayle and Morgana before they split ways due to their ideologies of how justice should be achieved. Morgana’s wings aren’t broken yet and we already see Kayle disapproves of Morg’s use of dark magic. The future we see Yasuo fighting off another invasion of Ionia and it seems it’s his time to die. In one of the final shots we see the outline of Kindreds wolf in the forest and the arrow that’s gonna hit him is one of Kindreds arrows. He gracefully closes his eyes and accepts death. In the present we see Tryndamere fighting for his life. The cinematic implies that anytime tryndamere uses his ult magic he sees himself fighting death itself( in this world it’s Kindred). Towards the end Kindred lowers her bow just as tryndameres ult ends because Ashe ends up saving him. It was not his time to die yet.
Technically speaking, Past, potential future, then present.
So the last guy is really interesting. He's Tryndamere, in the game his ult lets him become temporarily immortal. In the lore, he can defy death with his rage. The Lamb and The Wolf (who are hidden throughout this cinematic) are named Kindred and they are Death. Accepting death means you are pierced by the arrow of Lamb. Fighting it means you are taken by The Wolf.
But Tryndamere defies Kindred. He defies Death. And so as he's dying (in the real world from fighting the soldiers around him) in the spirit world he is battling Death itself. And in the end his wife Ashe saves him from the soldiers, he's no longer at risk of dying, and so Kindred fades away.
And given that Tryndamere's rage has saved him again and again from death, it's likely he has fought Kindred many many many times.
I love that you can see wolf or lamb in ALL part of this!
