I've been playing a lot of rek Sai support it works so good with people that have good engage like kled and zeri or even a Zoe works good with it. U just have so much engage and burst damage and a goated ult.
Glacial does work from my testing, but aftershock is still better imo because it gives you the additional tankiness to brawl and escape after the engage. Because Rek'Sai's strength as a support is the ability to engage, burst damage, disengage, and then heal from it. you can just keep healing while wearing the enemy down for free.
The problem i see in support rek sai is that the pain of laning at level 1 and 2 is even longer like you are not a champion at level 1 and half a champion level 2.
I feel as support you don't need Q so you probably level W and E first making a dash and knock up better. Probably goes best with Jhin, Kali and Draven tbh.
I was unironically playing reksai support 3~ years ago. You have great level 1 cheese, usually support will walk into a lane bush level 1 and with w u have instant knockup. Then after you hit a few times you burrow again and heal from passive, and can still knock up adc if you have extended fight. Level 2 you get another powerspike with ur tunnel and can land another easy knockup followed by passive heal. Bigger issue is that reksai's advantage over other engage supports is the kill pressure on adcs, but you dont have a good way to scale your damage while still being beefy enough to get multiple w knockups in team fights. Aftershock+lethality build like old pyke kind of works, but you still need to keep good tempo to stay relevant.

Dude i had that same vision bug a long time ago and i was never able to replicate it nor do i have video of how.
It might have to do with the travel time of scuttle as you unburrow but I think the reveal is only visual.
