Lyrics:
Spaced out, waiting for my turn
Doubting I’ll ever learn
They crash and they burn money
Stacks so high it’s funny
Days go by so sunny
If you like those, prepare for many
I can’t go on like this
Will it ever be enough
For me to let go somewhat and aim for bliss
Throwing more on an ever-growing pile of stuff
We’re calling your bluff
Tell me what our time is worth
For someone like you
Heir to the keys to Earth
Hate what you see? But it’s just a preview
Get started on starting life anew
Where is your circle?
Are your people tight enough to follow through and move as a whole?
I want a day to myself, worriless, and nothing else to do but see you at the very end when night comes and swallows us all
‘Let go of our trouble
‘Seems impossible
We’re pressured and it shows
Relax through the highs and lows
Or risk getting hooked on life and overdose
We sometimes have more control than we believe
Give us all a reprieve
Tell me what our time is worth
For someone like you
Heir to the keys to Earth
Hate what you see? But it’s just a preview
Get started on starting life anew

Thanks for caring about those!
This song is the best thing I've heard all year.
This song is the best song I've ever heard.
It's a beautiful and moving piece of art.
These gems are Under the radar...those guys are talented.
💯💯💯💯 it's only a matter of time before more people catch on. It seems they're working on more accessible stuff to be release soon. Can't wait 🧭
We want MOARRRRR !
Careful what you wish for-next thing you know, they'll drop a 12-hour version, and you'll be stuck vibing forever! Pretty sure @ankoopofficial is listening and will deliver ... soon 🎉
0% drugs
100% underrated
100% raw
100% passion
100% true
The new kolab' and the new vocalist proves to be a stroke of genius, as their combined talents elevate the style to new heights. Tbh I think Ankoop reached a peak of creativity, songwriting and composition. Each element of the production feels meticulously crafted yet imbued with a sense of spontaneity and raw emotion.
It's an song that will be considered a classic.
The song's atmosphere is captivating.
The song is a great way to experience different cultures.
They have talent and are inspired...they need to pursue their dreams...
Solid drums programming, using loops/samples only ? You've got this man. Intense ! I can feel that tight and high-energy FF drumming style.
03:44 : emotional. passionate. touching. moving. beautiful.
Yep, this is kind of their signature since the release of The Darkest Hour. Those vocals and guitar-only intros and outros, using minor chord progressions played in arpeggios, are pretty skillful actually. It always hits the emotional spot.
It's a breath of fresh air in the music industry.
Thanks so much for the kind words 🫶
The song is a great way to learn something new...about yourself.
Yeah, like how quickly you can hit replay... or maybe realize you’ve been singing the wrong lyrics the whole time!
@@RobertPaulson-us4bk😂
It rocks like a Foo Fighters song but dives deeper. It's raw, honest, and hits hard. Both bands leave you feeling charged up, but that Castel adds a layer of introspection to it.
The drums programming is inspired by the FF, isn't it?
The stingray bass is growling, gosh, I love that.
sooooooooooo gritty. Wonder if tey added some effects
💯 damn right , givin' that bass a rough time😮😮😮
Step by step. You're slowly but steadily becoming a credible music producer. Love it !
Can't wait to listen to all what i've read here and there in the YT comment section. Looks they have loads of stuff in teh pipeline 🧭
The artist has created a masterpiece that will be remembered for generations.
Ok they're pursuing their punk-rock journey ala foo fighters, what's next ? Kudos to the engineers on that one, the bass sounds like raw nofx/rhcp/ straight out from of the amp. Keep going.
💯 raw bass plugged straight into the gear with some intense, powerful playing
I think this song is a journey through life: calm, then hardcore, then calm again, then bridge. Happy, then sad, then mixed...sigh...
01:55 the brigde reminds me of Baba O'riley. At first I wasn't sure but this is pretty obvious after a few replays. Well done.
The song is a perfect representation of the artist's style.
I hope they liked to produce that as much as I like to listen to it...
Making music for people like you has to be a blast ❤ thanks for sharing the love !❤
BEST. ANKOOP. RELEASE. EVER. PERIOD.
01:20 : sentimental and emotive chorus. brings back deep memories. Thank You.
Versatile, you guys are ... versatile... to say the least. I mean it. Wow. Just wow.
This song is a must-have for any music collection.
01:05 : silencio foo fighters kind of full stop. WOW !
Sounds like it took a lot of time to release that, attention to details, effects here and there. Well done, that new vocalist does bring something to the whole
2013? Many bands splitted, disappeared in fewer months or never existed at all. You're true to yourselves. Way to go, even though it's not the "old" style. When artists evolves, you always have some core fans (self-proclaimed) saying it doesn't sound like the previous release. Don't pay attention. Use the unused path. The new vocalist is a blessing. Where does he come from ?
check him out @MichaelCastelMusic
It's a perfect blend of old and new.
This song is a masterpiece of modern music.
The artist's talent shines through on every track.
I love the singer's voice.
Incredible work. Best release so far. Disco and rock music coexist. Now I get why the FF made those Bgees covers. Different style. Same energy. Ankoop Lives.
The guitarist is like Niles Rodgers...love it.
The song is a great soundtrack to my life.
beautifully said! Music really does capture life's moments in ways words can't. Glad this soundtrack resonates with you!
The artist has exceeded all expectations with this song.
The artist's growth as a musician is evident.
It has a feeling of the foo fighters but mixed with some vanilla spice...like spiced rhum. I like it very much.
The artist has a unique talent that is unmatched.
The new vocalist soars with a raw intensity, infusing each word with passion and conviction. His delivery is both commanding and vulnerable, drawing the listener into the depths of his emotional journey. Yet, who is he actually?
I am he. Hi and thanks.
The song is a perfect balance of catchy and thought-provoking.
Thanks, we try to add layers of depth to fun and danceable grooves. You're right.
The lyrics are really philosophical...are you the new poets of the XXI century ?
PLEASURE IS KEY...
I thought Ankoop's songwriting would somewhat stale after The Darkest Hour, which is unrivaled. But they proved me wrong, once again. Are you a #rockband now?
this is so wow 🤩
It's an song that has changed my perspective on life.
They produced that from 2011...nice longevity.
Nice guitar solo. This guy can play I can tell.
The production quality is impeccable.
Who is the singer ? Who is the bass player ? Who is the songwriter? So many questions, so few answers. The official video is enigmatic as hell. Are you even a band?
singer/lyricist : Michael Castel @MichaelCastelMusic
bass : Thomas Dastillung @thomasdastillung4087
composer : Simon Dastillung (no personal YT channel, no public appearance except on the Red Lizard's channel @redlizard2985
@@ankoopofficialThanks for the info! Is it true you're going to release video clips where we’ll get to see your faces, gear, and all that?
the new releases are in the mastering phase
Please, NEVER STOP.
Each time I hear one of your song, reminds me of the Milky Way.
What a beautiful comparison! Just like the Milky Way, this track has that timeless, expansive quality that makes you feel like you're drifting through something vast and magical. In-fi-ni-ty. (I'm sober)
Under The Milky Way @@RobertPaulson-us4bk
The mood of this general song reminds me of the 90's like Suicidal tendencies and TOOL. A bit grunge and depressed but with a some optimism remaining.
This song is a timeless classic.
It's one of the best songs I've heard in years.
It's an song that I can't stop listening to.
The song's message is inspiring.
It heavily reminds me of Foo Fighters.
Finally Ankoop has a singer who can sing right...!!! Progresss !!
They're both great in their own register, learn to deal with differences.
The song is a great way to discover new music.
The artist is a true inspiration.
Do more of this style.
Rumor has it, the band’s been trapped in a cave with nothing but @redlizard2985 instruments and military rations. But don’t worry-word is, they’re working on a whole LP, dropping winter 2024, just in time to thaw us all out!
The song is a great listen for any occasion.
This song is a masterpiece from start to finish.
A bit of hard rock is not bad in those troubled times.
The artist is a true visionary.
It's an song that will stay with me for years to come.
The song is a great way to connect with others.
I can tell they took some pleasure to create those songs.
This song is simply perfect.
This song is a work of art.
The instrumental work is exceptional.
I Wonder if they are still producing Something...
The song is a great way to support the artist.
It's a must-listen for any music lover.
Good band...drums and bass are sound good.
The song's concept is innovative and well-executed.
The lyrics are deep and thought-provoking.
It's an song that will change the way you listen to music.
The melodies are catchy and memorable.
The song is a great way to get your mind off of things.
Seems like those guys were humbled by life. Consequently, they resisted the vanity of crediting themselves with FX/effects, despite the fact that you can actually hear the subtle delays on the guitar harmonics from 0:49, not to mention that fat analog build-up around 1:52
what do you mean ?
Don't they wear the small round glasses like Bill Evans and grow a mustache yet?
@SarahinSamSarah 🥸🥸🥸
It's an song that will be talked about for years to come.
The song is a great way to relax and unwind.
The song is a great introduction to the artist's music.
They do rock nowadays...
The song is a great way to show your appreciation for music.
The song has a unique sound that sets it apart.
top-notch new singer, writing, rhyming, the previous one sounded more soulful. Best release though.
Nice for a background music.
Its varied and original, I like it.
They had last melodies back in the days.
Bass player on steroids.
Is the cover inspired by Hall & Oates because it looks like it is ?
Hello, no.
The songwriting is top-Notch
Electro, rap, rock, 8-but, synthwave...very varied.
Thank you so much for offering to write lyrics! We truly appreciate your creativity and support. Feel free to share your work with us!
