on the other hand, this act was pretty for sure, but it was just a common mentalist act with pretty visuals, im kinda surprised these little gadgets aren't as common in acts yet, but that's the whole appealing of the act, like the dude playing a classic piece in an Otomatone (an electronic instrument, almost a toy, from japan) in Got Talent Spain

Yeah that's never made sense to me. The show is supposed to be about people from America who has talent, but seems like 85% of the contestants are people who came from different countries to just compete on the show.
It's awesome to see the acts from different countries, but it just doesn't make sense for this show. It'd be like me, guy from Louisiana, going to Britain's Got Talent and winning, then going back to America.

@@johnnyjoestar7143 it's a spinning led hand device, when you turn it on it projects images that you program. The larger ones with more pixels and higher definition can be like... Last I checked, $1500. But that was 2 years ago, they may have gone down in price. But still expensive

no, it was sloppy card force and some led holographic spinner action. That sloppy force you can learn in few hours (it was very sloppy and very obvious). You can buy led holographic spinner projector for like 200 bucks (I think his was from those more decent ones because projection quality was pretty good - and cheapest ones start at like 50, maybe even less for some chinese crap). So how how's this worth a golden buzzer?

What a great presentation, well executed and absolutely beautiful graphics, and golden buzzer worthy
idk am i too genius or this is really stupid. in many of the finalist photos, 2 photos chosen by Heidi and Sophia were the winners for consecutive sessions. Is that a coincidence? The AGT session when Kodi lee and Shin Lim competed was also hosted by Terry.
My point is, most of the cards Kevin holds have pictures of Kodi and Shin. For that reason, kevin only shows the cards (positioned in the middle area) that should be chosen by the jury. Kevin didn't give ALL the cards to be chosen by the jury like Shin Lim did in the "kiss transfer card" trick.
the only thing that WOWS is the use of technology that kevin uses to show the brain graph. It's just a technology. I can even design technology like that.

Yessss! I’ve been wondering where all the cool acts like mentalists, magicians & others that have that same vibe were, seems like we haven’t gotten many, yet we’ve gotten tons of singers, dancers, twirlers, martial arts, etc. so glad to see a mentalist! This act was great!👏🏻
It is very easy. He had about 10 different cards on top. Later, he had about 30 cards only with Kodi Lee and 30 only with Shin Lim. At 2.34, he only has a handful of cards in his right hand. At 2.40, he has many more cards in his right hand. If you know what will be chosen, the rest is easy. Only one difficult thing: "How convinced Terry to write proper names?"
Your correct and as for Terry that part is easy. Before he took the stage he had Terry take from that stack and told him to remember the names he took and later right them down. Pre-show work.

Classic Force (top half is shin, middle is kodi, bottom is a few random cards they won't pick from), names already written on the board (Terry is a plant), prediction based on forced cards. The holo is a light rope rotating very quickly to give the illusion of a hologram.

Not really. Basic magic you can learn on UA-cam and a $20 LED fan. Maybe $150 for the animation. His prediction made it obvious for anyone who's been remotely into magic tricks how it was done. Good trick for a normal audience but not fooling anyone knowing more than that. Great magicians are people like Shin Lim who can even fool people who know a bit or can impress those who know with actual skills.
dude, that was most sloppy card force I've seen in long time. You can literally see how he pulls the correct cards. The other part was led holographic spinner - costs from like 50 bucks to maybe 500 (those expensive ones have much more leds, giving better resolution for the projection and have wireless connectivity)

The last part ruined the trick. It just shows the cards were forced on the girls. It was more believable with just the first part.
True - no longer becomes mentalism and is now just a magic act. Still cool performance, but as soon as that happened I knew the cards had to be forced on the judges.
How do you explain how terry able to write the same artist that were picked?
@@wreckmorejordan3433 Psychology. Probably brought the names up in casual talk beforehand so when Terry was thinking about contestants, those guys came up first.
I mean if you have seen a few magic tricks already you knew from the beginning that the cards were forced.. so the fact that he knew it didn’t impress me at all.. But I loved the presentation and it‘s very impressive how Terry knew what the girls picked

Why are the names on the board different in colour? one dark one lighter. Kodi has a dot above the i & Shin Lim doesn't have the dots on the i's & the L's one dips down & the other up.

The style of the two names written was different too. Could be written by different person.
Because one is written from the mind of Heidi and the other is written from the mind of Sofia. 2 different person, 2 different writting style. Normal!

The names are wrote differently. Notice the i in top name has a dot, but bottom line neither of the 2 i's do. And the pen appears to be different ink thickness.
