Hey there, that’s brilliant, I’m glad it worked out for you. I thought you might lose a little depth of flavour leaving out the tomato. Thanks for taking the time to leave a post, I really appreciate it. Here’s hoping you find more success with some other recipes here on the channel 🙋🏻♂️😀RTF
@Paul Diffin cool! Something tells me you love pretty local to me? (Nottingham) Please drop back in once you’ve cooked it and let me know how it went. Thanks for watching and commenting, it all helps and it’s much appreciated 🙋🏻♂️😀RTF
@sunnycoast4558 you would be right. Olive oil has a low burn temperature. Typically, I’d use sunflower or vegetable oil for a hot sear. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any at hand. Thanks for stopping by and supporting the channel 🙋🏻♂️😀RTF
@unified mongoose - wow! Thanks very much, I really appreciate the positive comment. Hopefully you’ll be trying this recipe? Thanks for the sub and welcome aboard 🙋🏻♂️😀 RTF
You do know putting salt and pepper on them like that is a complete waste of time. Why did you not bother to stir in the onions and garlic that were at about 1 o’clock in the pan? Poor Effort fella. Well done.
Made this and omitted the tomato and garlic. Taste superb.

Why not use a blender on the Vegetables so they can go into the sauce.
