I've never had a dog and am actually kinda apprehensive of jumpy dogs and stuff. But I imagine I would love the companionship and comfort they bring. Just laying their head in your lap, you, petting them softly. Or you're walking through the forest for a morning hike and they just walk beside you...
I'm not stupid though and I know it's a lot of work. But I'm prepared to work for it as long as I enjoy having a dog. And again, though I have no practical experience with training or handling dogs, I have watched the internet's entire supply of videos on the topic
Buddy, you will grow to love whatever dog you happen to get. Things can be taught, the are great companions, but when they are gone its a very hard lesson.
This is the exact reason I am watching this. I explained to her for 20 minutes why dogs are good and then she said she is only convinced 10% out of 100% LIKE WHAT?
00:15 :- If ue thinking of ADOPTING A DOG......thats what everyone should do......adopt a homeless dog instead of buying one......🙃.....the love he will give u will be the same.....the only thing that will change is their condition of living....❣️💜💙
My parents say If I do good with my report card (witch I think I will 😏) I’ll be able to adopt a dog! The adoption bills are $174 at my shelter but that’s fine❤️
Trust your mom. Dogs are not for everyone. Dogs want you to spend a lot of your valuable time for them to be huppy and gradually they take advantage of you before you can even understand how this happened. Except for 4 dog species that earn their living (shepherd dogs, hunting dogs, police dogs and partially the guard dogs) all the other more than 340 dog species return nothing for your devotion, your time, your money and your total changing of your life to comply to their habits. Now about the "dog love". It is a misconception. Actually it is not exactly "love" but a slavish attachment to the person that gives them free food, free home, free vet care and modifies his whole live (and his family life) for the dog to feel huppy! And all those for what? For some wagging of its tail? Honestly if you give all those things to me for free I surely would wag my tail to you! Would you think it as enough pay off? So, whom are the dogs for? They are either for terribly lonely people (as company substitution) or for childless people who need a child substitution. The dogs are NOT either for energetic people, or for those whose time is too precious to be spoiled on "making a dog huppy". Also the dogs are not for those who work many hours a day because their prolonged absence from home makes the dog to get mad because of "separation anxiety". This we call its fear that it will lose its sponsor and then it will die. This is the reason the dogs usually destroy a lot of things in your house during your prolonged absence. So, trust your mom on this. Think it again during your very far future retirement.
@@muraliparameswaran4182 that's not a good advice for everyone. You have no clue what a stray puppy is mixed with, and whether or not it will be a good family pet
Understand that there is still a top bad reason for having one- knowing they will not last forever and most likely they will go before you do. And it won’t be easy even if they go at the average death age (12-15 years)
I love dogs but my wife is allergic to it. I can still have one, only if he/she doesn't get inside the house. I have quite the garden so I'm wondering if it would be positive to have one. Is it worth to have a dog that only can be outside the house? Ps I have a garage aswell where he can be in...
leaving it outside is not the best option since the dog will want to interact with people and it might start annoying your neighbors by barking so much.
I have a dog right now, but his time is coming, I CANT live without a pet. They keep me stable I might get a bird, maybe a car, or even another dog, I don’t know though.
They teach you to live in the moment
I agree, you can also live happily and in the moment without having a pet. I haven’t got a pet and I consider myself happy.
Absolutely agree
"Every dog deserves a home, but not every home deserves a dog"
No one’s gonna acknowledge this 😭 and then they regret it after a dog
@@jin_cotl My dog is a total asshole, he tears up my furniture and ate most of my Nike collection. If you don't have money don't get a dog.

I have always wanted a dog (corgi) but my brother is scared of them running towards him or barking
Buddy, you will grow to love whatever dog you happen to get. Things can be taught, the are great companions, but when they are gone its a very hard lesson.
I always fall asleep with my dog, anywhere and anytime really. That tells how relaxed he makes me.
They are so nice for relaxing
Me showing this video to my mom after we argued about getting a dog
Good
Now she is ready for dogs

@Aida Covic did it work?
Get a dog instead of a boyfriend dogs are better than boyfriends true facts 💯
Audreanna Kenneth Dogs are just like boyfriends, only differences being dogs are loyal and unconditionally submissive.
That is an opinion
Some people even marry dogs! That’s crazy!
Oh yeah... Get a dog instead of a girlfriend
I honestly got a dog instead of any human.

Yup
Yup, me
I live in my neighborhood for about 20 years I chatted to one of my neighbors for the first time do my Husky and he’s German shepherd.👋🏼
Dogs give us good company if you are alone
Now i will show this to my parents hope they will buy a pet🥺🥺

Ita a basenji

ANOTHER..Brilliant video!
Absolutely!
I’ve been wanting a dog for years but my dad won’t let me have one. He won’t let me have a cat either.
I can hear you bro😢
We are in the same boat
Animals are a ton of work tbh, best to get them when you’re a young adult or when you’re retired and have enough responsibility and tome
My mom is convinced thank you so much ☺️
Congrats!
Another reason: for those.of.us.with ADHD, dogs gives us accountability as we are responsible for their well-being.
They bring companionship linked with security, generally speaking.
Great video, thanks for this.
🔥
I just want a dog🥺🙏❤
They are so special and so lovely also adorable..but,once they leave us it is hard for us to live .
Its tough when they go
It really is, I have a 14 year old German Shepherd and Chihuahua mix, his time is coming.
i feel like you shouldn’t try to convince people that don’t already have a dog to get one, because there is a good reason they don’t have one
Well am NOT sure about me convince them but yeah in your way I am but in my way am NOT just telling them facts 💯
Audreanna Kenneth what?

Just a lil bit Nastie ngl

Yes 👍
Fun fact :- a lab was shown more often in the visual
