I bought the same garbage "genuine" harness and have all 4 clips broken. Thanks for posting this!

03:54 When you say "there it goes" it really does GO, because it's broken, and you can see it falls down on the tissue. Those barbs are super easy to break, even when pushing up to release them. At least you got one clicked which will hold the other since they're taped together.

@@ikiru1969 @ikiru1969 were the "barbs" that hold the wires in on the new ones easier to push up without breaking them, like that one broke when you pulled the wire back? I just got 3 connectors from the scrap yard and they all broke instantly when I pushed the release barb up even a little bit to release the wire. I was even able to break the black plastic in the connector with my fingernail, it just falls apart. I have the new part coming soon, so I hope I can release the new wire it comes with without breaking it... I got the yellow part out very easily without breaking.

Yeah the old one you remove from cars will most likely be easy to brake, once the plastic get brittle its almost imposable not to break, I bought a harness from eBay and just used them for replacement's

@@ikiru1969 Very bad design and material quality!.. I'm surprised .. if you look at many other engines, they have bigger, stronger connectors.

Yeah its a cheap car so cheap parts. but it would be easy to upgrade the parts if you can find a plug that works with the coils or upgrade the coils and change to connector also

How common is it for the wiring to the coils to fail? Have a '13 with 120k km, 2 of 4 are bad

I would say common there is a lot of heat in the engine area and heat make things brittle
