The Walt Disney Family Museum - The Best Museum Ever! ✨

- Today is the 2nd day of our adventure. Today we went to the best museum that I have ever been to (and I am from DC). It was truly incredible. We also went to Paris Baguette and Stanford for a quick driving tour. Tomorrow begin the Hawaii portion of our adventure! We both went to bed early for an early flight.

WOW ~ great video. So glad that you can travel together. Did not realize the David lives in SF; wonderful that you have a personal guide to drive you around. The Walt Disney Family Museum was wonderful; worth every penny. Would love to see that ~ perhaps on a future vacation. Have a magical adventure; cannot wait to see more videos and pictures. So glad you had a wonderful time visiting my home state of CA. The Disney Family Museum is amazing. We easily spent most of a day there ourselves. You will also have to visit the CA Academy of Science on your next visit. Thanks for the great vLog. You are one of my family's favorite vloggers. So fun! I also recommend visiting Carolwood Barn at Griffiths Park the next time you’re out by Disneyland. It’s in Los Angeles but well worth the trip to visit Walt’s original barn where it all started.

I don't know if we will ever get to San Francisco so THANK YOU Michael for sharing your Disney Museum adventure. My favorite part was listening to Walt throughout but my absolute favorite was watching the working model of Disneyland!! I think I could stay there all day.

The Walt Disney Family Museum is definitely on my bucket list. It looks AMAZING, so much bigger than I expected!! I'm surprised they let you film in there actually. But I'm glad you skipped over that final scene in the museum - I don't want to cry while watching Michael Kay hahaha!
I love that the two of you got to spend time just being brothers, playing videogames at David's apartment before the next big adventure! It's nice to visit and slow down with family!

Your trip to the Walt Disney family museum has me excited for a trip to SAN Fransisco hopefully in the future
Have you seen the documentary on Netflix, "Walt: The Man Behind the Myth"? We just watched it last week, and although I have seen a couple of biographical programs on Walt, there were still more things I didn't know. His daughter built this museum. When she was asked if she was going to write a book about her father, she said no because this museum is her book! It looks amazing. It can bring tears to your eyes watching the TV clips of him talking about the various projects and dreams he had for the future.
Thank you for showing the Museum. I went in July of 2016 and was in there over 3 hours and they had to make us leave because they were closing. I had to rush through the last couple of rooms. I am glad that I got to sit on the green park bench that was around the Carousel at Grant Park where Walt sat watching his daughters ride and his dream for Disneyland began. It was the highlight of the trip as well as the Disneyland model. You are correct that there is lots of information there and it does take more than one day to read and see everything.
This museum is soooo awesome. I’ve been there once before and highly recommend visiting if you have the chance. They even have special pins and other merchandise for the museum!🙌

Michael, my favorite part of the Smithsonian back in the 70’s was the cafeteria where you stood still and the food moved in front of you on a conveyor belt. We called it the “Grab It”.🙂 And I kept wondering where the “Aaron Space” museum was. LOL We also got the listen to the Watergate tapes.

Have you considered doing any Adventures by Disney tours? The SF long weekend or the Backstage Magic at Disneyland? I truly loved BSM & now that you've shown me the WDFM which is part of the SF tour, I'd definitely consider doing it!

Husband and I went to the Disney Family Museum in June,. It was Amazing and we highly recommend it!!
Another museum that’s amazing is Walt Disney’s childhood home and how at least in the past if you went there you could sign your name on the barn
