Beautiful, would love to go one day. Hawaii is alike like south Florida I feel except for we have no mountains. We have same plants and trees and weather. I have been on 3 islands years ago and loved it. 😀❤️

We went to Hawaii many years ago and toured the entire island . It was a very memorable trip. I have the feeling the Disney hotel would be wasted on us because we like to sight see more than lounge at the pool. But I appreciate that I got to see it through your eyes.
Happy to catch a glimpse of this luau through your video. We opted for the Polynesian Cultural Center and while we found the luau to be just okay, the night time show "Ha: Breath of Life" was AMAZING. Glad you enjoyed your experience at this one, though and thanks for the honest reviews.

Another option to the L’uau that is popular in Oahu is at the Polynesian Village. Their basic admission is about $90 and you spend the afternoon exploring the village areas with some events, see them bury the pig for the L’uau in the pit Seaside and play some games and explore before the dinner and show, There is also a circular island tour, but getting a rental car to do your own exploration is less sales orientated. Path of the expense of Hawaii is that they are so remote from the states that it costs so much more to ship things to the Islands for basic ingredients like milk and it’s heavily reliant on tourism there. Islands of Maui and Kauai are also very popular Nice. too bad you are allergic to pineapples, but the island is full of everything pineapple and not very expensive. Lots of Hawaiian shirts for very affordable prices at some stores on tours. But your Mickey ones are very cool. Alaskan Airlines is still on of my favorite airlines when I lived out West. Not many routes to where. Fly from Chicago, but would take them if going to Pacific Northwest or Hawaii.

Those three day weekends you refer too, are those more Friday, Saturday and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday and Monday, or both? Or was that just during a three day weekend during a holiday?

I love this resort but it's super expensive. That's why I invested in the DVC. I'll do a more in depth video review with the DVC program so more people can understand the benefits.
Wow! That is an expensive Luau. For a family of 4 that would be $500 (I assume at 12 and 14 they'd be adult prices). Not sure how families can afford that. Also, wow 73 is cold! Not sure I'd be getting in the pool at that temp! How were the ocean temps?

$125 is a pretty good price for a luau. Some are a few dollars less, one or two are actually more.
FYI, im here to watch this vid 3 yrs after and the little girl who said Audrey what do you think, and i said it was fun with my stepdad in the background. That was me

I’ve been catching up on the vlogs and although Aulani looks amazing, the food seems mediocre 🤷🏻♀️
I guess you go to Hawaii and not be cheap .. I all your problem to expensive or food not to good ... may be go but not stay in Disney . Go eat out side in state . Where pastries might be better than Disney .
