So, this build works very well with the crafting skills revamped mod which changes many of the potion effects. depending on how you do it you can easily get 200% fortify two handed from a potion effect which is amazing.
@@belisaurusgaming6192 It also changes many of the standard enchantments and alchemy effects. For example the fortify potions enchantment is the replacement for fortify alchemy, and fortify smithing potions are replaced with fortify defense potions which reduce incoming physical damage by up to 70%.
@@belisaurusgaming6192 The crafting skills revamped mod is actually very good for balancing as it changes almost all the enchantments and alchemy effects.
Follow up: since you posted this build, I decided to give it a to. I usually play pure mages and much less often, stealth characters. I am having a great time! There is something viscerally satisfying about 2H combat, and this build (especially paired with alchemy) is destroying everything. Mages continue to be my biggest issue, but that's just another challenge. Cheers!
Additionally, with Vokrii light armor perks you take no damage while sprinting if I am correct allowing you to easily close the gaps provided you have the stamina to do so which while playing this build shouldn't be a problem especially if you give your weapon the absorb stamina enchantment.
Love it! I have a 2-handed orc build in her 20s, but she's totally enamored with her warhammers. The addition of potions is really great. Going to add that.
@@belisaurusgaming6192 Warhammers are really nice because they reduce the enemies armor a lot which stacks well with the armor draining enchantments from summermyst, and other armor reducing abilities you might have. Since the armor reduction is a flat value it can actually push enemy armor rating into the negatives which increases damage output.
Greetings from Mexico Master Beli. I am a follower and fan of yours, I have seen several of your videos but I mainly like those of SKYRIM theme. I am currently following the adventures of the Artificer (chapter 15), I am waiting for the new chapter of the Let's Play Skyrim and I have seen all the Builds SEVERAL times. I have for you a Question and a Request ... QUESTION: I have an old Xbox 360 where after so many years I still play my favorite game SKYRIM although occasionally. Inspired by your videos and your Artificer (one of my favorites) I want to emulate the character. Unfortunately I don't have any MODS or expansion installed :( therefore I don't have access to crossbows, Visage of Mzund, etc. Do you think it is viable to continue with the character without losing his essence? REQUEST: Friend you have a great narrator voice, I would ask you to try not to rush to appreciate it as it should be and, above all, do not deprive us of listening to the BACKSTORY of the characters (the last 3 have not had). I offer you an apology for my bad English and the length of my comment. You have a fun channel that is worth watching, your Builds are original and you make your videos with intelligence. I wish you the best of luck and success with it and also with everything else. Cheers!
I am blessed with extremely polite audience. To properly answer your kind comment, I'll need to elaborate, so brace yourself for a wall of text. For the REQUEST part: I will keep the backstories whenever I feel I have a remotely interesting idea for them. Some of my older builds also didn't have them, it's not like I decided to get rid of them, it's just I had nothing beyond the most generic story to tell. It may be because my last few builds are more generic themselves. A Druid, a barbarian, as opposed to something more specific to the lore of TES, like The World Eater build. I must say I enjoy trying my best with the most obvious for now, but I can assure you, I will record a backstory, whenever there is a decent idea for it. You also mentioned you watched the Artificer's Playthrough. It makes me happy, that you did, but I'm sorry to say it's cancelled. I can't force myself to remake it for a second time (I lost the save files) and I also switched to SE, which is more stable, and therefore much easier to record with. Sorry for that, I hope you will enjoy the new character as much as that one. For the QUESTION: That's a tough one. The Artificer without the Dragonborn spider scrolls, Visage of Mzund and a crossbow can be very underpowered and frankly a tad boring to play. He will also struggle to collect enough scrolls and staffs to make them a viable combat tool. On the other hand you could try and join the Colege of Winterhold and buy yourself as many staffs as possible, and get the Spellbreaker early. Try using spellbreaker and a grand staff of Chain Lightning. Maybe introduce some block perks to increase resistance and get the shield charge. It will be a different playstyle though. What's presented in the video works well pretty much only because the build uses the Visage of Mzund,. Sadly, it would be better to make an entirely new dwemer themed character idea, than trying to force the Artificer into a game that isn't ready for him :) Best wishes, Beli.
Thank you for your kind response Master Beli, I think it is time to look to new horizons as far as "my Artificer" is concerned. Maybe I do not rule out a new idea of character with staff as his livelihood and main weapon but it remains to be thought. It is a fact that I will keep watching and enjoying your videos and I will not miss those that they have a background that needs to be known (when you think it's convenient friend). Enjoy what you do and strength for hard times. As the narrator often says ... we will see each other again. Bye Bye.
I have been thinking about having an Orc build but not sure what it should be. Now I have a good idea. I have the Stout Heart Armour mod which looks a lot like yours so I will use that one. My problem with spellswords is I end up either using spells or swords but not both. Speaking of which have you tried Destruction Perk Battlemage Reborn. Changes the destruction perk tree to allow you to become a paladin, shieldmage, stealthmage, runemage or a combination of them them
Nice build but how do you bring down the dragons so you can reach them? Do you need to wait until you get the shout or do you have a bow or staff for that purpose?
I'd go with the shout if you are impatient. I mainly just waited enjoying my 85% magic resistance, taking weird pleasure in standing in dragon's breath and flexing.
CORRECTION! AT 10:13 I describe the Elemental Protection perk, which I thought was changed by Vokrii. It turns out the Vokrii-Elemental Destruction Compatibility Patch does it, not Vokrii itself. The reasons for this change are beyond me, and I will remember in the future to remove any mods that aren't required for the build from the load order. Thanks to @Arkaskas1 for pointing it out.
@@belisaurusgaming6192 To be fair, if you are using giants for test dummies and you slip up-you're going to be in orbit! This video reminded me I can't recall ever playing a dedicated two-handed warrior. I love you tied in the historical berserks use of hallucinogenic mushrooms with alchemy on your orc. With Vokrii, what are your thoughts on the 2H tree vs sword and board?
@@Jimmyinvictus I'd need to play more with sword and board to give you an informed opinion. For now it looks like two handed can be a bit more useful with block perks than in vanilla, so the choice is tougher. With Weapon Block perk and additional damage to Power Bash, Two handed and Block skills now compliment each other almost as well as one handed and block. Hook Blade is my new fav perk, so that's a point for 2h. It might be a bit imbalanced towards the 2H fighters actually, unless you really need one more slot for a defensive enchantment.
In Vokrii, it seems to be working the way I described it. 25% protection for weapon block, 50% for shields. I didn't check it with the console, but the in-game description says so, and the fights with warlocks did become a bit easier.
@@belisaurusgaming6192 The description says shield. You must be mistaken with the Weapon block perk which improves blocking with weapons by 25%. Also I've checked SSEdit and it only works with shield equipped. Must be some kind of placebo, since you already have high resists with potions. Anyway the elemental protection doesn't stack additive anyway since it doesn't increase the resists but reduces the damage by these elements taken, so with high resists the damage absorbed isn't that noticeable unless the enemy does ridiculous amounts of damage, like some modded dragons do. Also have you figured out when rolling charge activates? Does it activate based on distance covered or depending on how long you've been sprinting?
@@Arkaskas1 Are you sure we are on the same version of Vokrii? Because I checked it right before answering you and it says what I wrote. The mod page description has just the vanilla description. I suspect it was changed in an update or something.
