Woah... This is drastically different
This is an interesting look into how a song can morph and change so much during its creation. Personally, I am glad they went with the album version, but this is pretty neat.

An almost generic song in the Demo and in The final version is one of the best and most emotional songs. This shows how a song can evolve

Good catch. It's got some striking similarities in the arrangement. No doubt about it, parts of this were reworked into St. Marie.

This (album version) is one of my favourite vocal performances from Corey. Cant believe how drastically different this is! Love both but he definitely nailed it with the final version.

I got married to this song. Had my wife start walking up and started Taciturn playing, and when she entered the door it kicked into the heavier section of the song.GIVE ME A SIGN! I know it's probably not the intention of the song, but for me, it fit with the intensity and lyrics.
After all the shit that happened in the previous years leading up to that point, this human brought everything together and got some sort of compromise, with someone so much better.
As someone mentioned already, this seems to be two songs. The lyric and the guitar seem to be two different songs and they have ended up splitting them to finally make Taciturn and St Marie.

The chorus sounds a little weird with that "ay ay ay" but that does not do it a Bad song, great version, but I'm glad the original realized in the album

Cause the album version is a million times better. Also this wouldn’t fit at all on the album.
