I hope that I get a chance to see them. God knows how long it will be before American bands come here to Australia to tour again. Also pissed that the Slipknot tour got cancelled here last year.

He may have written the lyrics and melodies but he's even confirmed that the song was heavily changed while working with the producer because the song was picked up for the Spider-Man movie. I've literally watched him, in person, state that his original version is very different from the version that was recorded with many different hands. So, you're wrong.

It's a hiatus, not a break up. Dramatic ass.
Still, very sad day. This band has gotten me through the worst of worst bs and helped me get to where I am now, which is in an amazing place. Life couldn’t be better, and I always looked at SS as some light that made me feel better enough to get to the next day. 10+ years and I made it. Wish he hiatus wasn’t a thing, and we had some new tracks sooner than later
@@Xeroforte Yeah, not feeling great about that whole idea when the singer is saying the band has run its course and saying that IF they decide to get back together years from now, it will be bigger than ever. SS went on hiatus many times, but they never before announced it as a hiatus and it's always been because of Slipknot, not because it has "run its course". If we do get another SS album, it will be many years from now.
@@stuuurbo I'm for certain not agree with the statement that Stone Sour ran their course. There's plenty of directions where they could still go. Hell, Josh said that he had 7 demos for next album. The problem is, I think is somewhere behind the scenes. Corey has wanted to make solo album for almost 10 years now, so during these unstable times he actually went for it. Slipknot are on the peak of their career now. So this leaves a little space for Stone Sour. But... they already were on "indefinite hiatus" from 1997 till 2000 or 2001. I hope SS will come back. Maybe it's gonna take from 5 to 7 years, but I'm sure that we will hear more from them. I'm pretty sure that Corey's solo album(s) will only move forward on a fact that it's Corey's solo album. These 2 tracks were bad. I think sales and fan adoption will tell more than interviews.
It's run its course "for now." Nobody said they were completely done.
