My Wife Robin and I (Mike) began watching you so much that we’re telling others about your travel to the Yukon. While at the Hershey RV Show we were sitting in a new Meridian telling the sales rep about your adventures. Turns out his name was Tucker and he said he sold you “Curiosity”. What a small world. We haven’t budged them all but we’re catching up. Robin &. Mike, Hershey, PA
Wow! That is a very small RV world! Tucker was nice and helpful for Curiosity. That's too funny. Thanks for watching. We're glad you're enjoying the channel. Hope you had fun at Hershey.
Hmmm....you wouldn't be taking sides now, would you?!? LOL...we always try to leave room for "expansion" on a trip of this nature. We know that "souvenirs happen". 🤔😂

We are very excited about all the cool places we plan to go in Curiosity and then hopefully return in Orion. We do love this lifestyle as there is never a dull moment. Thanks for the comment Thomas. We hope to give back all that we've learned.
4/9/23 Love your "Jenga" skills. Thirty years ago or so, I was able to get an amazing amount into my '79 Cellica (which is the same size as a '01 Corolla) to go off to college. I was a really good packer, though I didn't measure and plan it out like you did. I just did it as I went. My first cat was with me in her carrier in the front seat.
Nice. Those were the days, eh? Everything you own, in your back seat and trunk! I guess we're not much different now...except that our "trunk" is a little bigger now! 😂😎
Yes, we can now get into Mexico which is planned for a future trip. Alaska is 2023 and will allow us to go deeper into the "frontier". Lol. This seemed like the right fit since it's also 4x4 and roomy inside for 33 feet. Thanks for the comments. Appreciate your time watching the channel. Maybe we'll see you up there.

We have just started following you on your adventures and are curioius if you have a you tube video that shows how you designed and had Orion built? We spent 5 years traveling in our motorhome, had to stop fulltimimg due to health issue, but traveled another 5 years after a surgery. We are now selling the RV and preparing to cruise Alaska summer of 2023 as well as other cruises and train excursions. We live about an hour from the Oregon Coast. Will you be doing the Pacific Coast on 101 now that you have your class "C"?
Hi Ray, we haven't done one yet but we've been talking about it and we weren't sure if it would be interesting for everyone. We'll give it some more thought. Thanks for the great comment. Appreciate your coming along on our journey. Alaska is next! 😁
I have a question for you. Your Volvo is 33 feet in length. Your SpaceCraft Semi is 46' 6"; for a total length of 79' 6". How do you run legal; I thought that the Recreational Combined Truck and Trailer length was 65".. Thank you for your time
On STAA approved roads the length limits are longer. We are 73 feet with overhang of the trailer over the truck on the hitch. Since we are not commercial then not subject to those restrictions. Thanks for the comments.
@@mrsbigtruckbigtravels726 But, overall length does count with the law; because if you are over the limit, you will get a ticket. How much are you fined for extra length?

Harold, we did get the 4x4 and it's the XG32. 33 feet in length so we can fit anywhere but it's still roomy inside. Appreciate your time watching the channel.
Hi Harold, to make the most sense of this we had to go as small as possible and Curiosity (Class C) is the same length as Voyager (Volvo) but with way more living space. After being in it for our 2 month shake down trip we know our 6 month trip will be a piece of cake! Thanks for coming along with us! 😊
Thanks, Edward but we were not truck drivers. Managers in a corporate environment but we loved to camp. Our driving is from nearly 9 years of fulltime travel.
You mentioned that you were Hawaiian but I would like to know how? Was it mom, dad or both? Also ... did you ever live on the Island(s)? If so what brought you to the states? Also, what did both of you do before you were retired?
LOL...soooo many questions! My father was Duke Kahanamoku's eldest brother. Moved to the islands when I was very young. I grew up on Maui for most of my younger life. Went to college on the mainland and we worked in the electronics field prior to our retirement. Sondra is an electrical engineer and I was in Logistics.
@sherisevalentygibb no, my mom was hauole. Duke was an Olympic swimmer in the 1920's, set some records. Was the Sheriff of Honolulu and Ambassador when Hawaii became a state.

Thank you. That's exciting about your toy hauler set up. Sounds like a lot of fun. Safe travels and we're glad you're along with us on this journey. 😎
If the Volvo is 33 feet in length, what is the length of the Spacecraft?
Our Space Craft is 46'6". We just couldn't go to 47! Lol. Thanks for the comments.
he is a packer. i need to borrow his skills. lol
Honed through years of experience... 😆
Can I ask what you did before retiring? Were you truck drivers? You seem to be very experienced in trucking
@@bigtruckbigtravels not sure who Duke Kahanamoku is but he sounds important. So what you're saying is that your dad is Hawaiian? What about your mom?
@sherisevalentygibb no, my mom was hauole. Duke was an Olympic swimmer in the 1920's, set some records. Was the Sheriff of Honolulu and Ambassador when Hawaii became a state.
Hello again and where and how are you? May l ask what carriers you had before retirement because your both so mentally and physically fit?🎉
Hi Linda- we are doing well thank you. How are you doing? We always tried to stay active and eat a balanced diet (for the most part) except when we are dining at Whataburger! Appreciate your comments. Not sure your meaning of "carriers". Let me know and we can clarify for you. Cheers.
Sorry l meant careers.
@lindawalker404 hey Linda- we were in the electronics industry. Sondra was director of sales and I was a GM for a logistics company. We have always been active, enjoyed eating a balanced diet (usually) and never just sat around. Thanks for the comments. 😃
sounds like first world problems to me lol
🤣 definitely 1st world issues, Lance. Appreciate your time watching the channel. 😃
The reason you can't go to Mexico, is it won't be coming back
LOL...that was a concern by the border police. Thanks for the comments.
