Just a bit of an update, but it's probably no surprise that Anna is dancing professionally with a ballet company in Europe. I want to say Prague - but I'm not sure.
I loved watching Anna rehearse her solo. I can't wait to see Niamh, Maddie and Harrison in the group routine in next week's episode. I love watching them dance---you can really feel their emotions when they're performing!!! Good luck in LA.
I'm looking forward to seeing entire routines. Maddie and Niamh together, the youngest and the oldest, will be an interesting counterbalance and both are strong performers. It's why I love this show. It's a showcase of the new talent and the seasoned. Both are exciting to watch.
I LOVE Madison's choreography. It's daring, bold, full of energy and yet it's elegant, suave and beautiful to watch, overall very innovative. Looking forward to seeing the whole dance and more future work from her. Julliard is so lucky to have her.
Anna is just wonderful and such a wonderful dancer. I'm sad that she has this self doubt because she is lovely persona and just wants to please everyone. I just wish she would step in to it emosionally more... and I agree with the comment below: I could just watch this all day!!!
Is everyone else feeling that the sign "Joffrey Ballet School" at 0:35 should be larger across the windows to advertise more of the presence of this elite ballet school as well as the tremendous talent that this school is cultivating?

THIS is IN ALL CAPS because I feel the GUYS GOT SO SHORTCHANGED THIS ENTIRE SEASON. They are so beautiful in their own right. This dance company chooses traditional dance motifs...pretty girls, strong men. But many of these men are soloists. I wish the world could change its mind to support male dancing as the solo act. Stodola: taking nothing from the beauty and potential of Anna’s dancing and Kate’s innocence on stage. Harrison is sexy. All the rest are great teammates.
I don't have any ballet training.. but I have danced- and I love dance. At any rate, just purely being a spectator, and seeing all of the different talents... I don't understand why Arrielle is part of the Joffrey Elite. She doesn't shine. She doesn't have beautiful clean/elegant lines... but.. I would LOVE to be proven wrong. I truly truly would. As a viewer, I just want to see what made them choose her, over some of the other lovely talents I saw previously. I can't remember her name- but she's the one that "has the most experience", she is undoubtedly a BEAUTIFUL dancer.. but she is so stiff through her torso.. I keep seeing (what my instructor used to call "giraffe neck") her head jut forward (in the contemporary piece) and her torso is just... stiff as a board. As a whole- I'm in love with this series. omg. This should be a UA-cam Red series FOR SURE!!!
Its so strange still to this day the company in Chicago and school in NYC are 2 different entities. When I danced with the Joffrey back in 2006 Gerald Arpino was still around. The 50th anniversary. We knew absolutely nothing about the school in NY or had any connection to it. I don't get it still to this day.
I had a studio that was very very large that had pillars but the girl doing the swan variation was in a tiny studio with two and almost ran in to both of them several times
I had REALLY severe shin problems & physio - especially ULTRASOUNDS over the area. They finally healed & I was able to prevent them from getting bad again. P.S. Kate has the most potential ... her body is great, but she has to learn to use it properly- more movement with her torso, get a bit stronger, & become more expressive. She could probably model, too. Kate & Lauren are the only girls that I can see in a classical ballet company, but Madison could become an incredible contemporary dancer & choreographer. She could really mentor Kate to be less stiff, & learn to lose herself & express herself within the music. Good Luck!

With the way Anna dances I could watch a whole entire show of just her. She is so incredibly beautiful when she moves.
