Here's a little trivia. The actress who portrayed Nami in that One Piece commercial is someone who portrayed another anime character back in the early 2000s.
Her name is Rika Izumi (Went by Chisaki Hama) and she portrayed Sailor Mercury in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon (live action Sailor Moon)

The Cadbury commercial was literally the most talked about commercial in the UK that year, it was plastered all over the news at the time and the extended cut was 90 seconds long. It was iconic!

Actually Japanese commercials did have some sense in them for japanese speakers. in one piece commercial they were literally just singing 'job search is through Indeed' and and the sushi one the guy says at the end 'we find the finest fish for our sushi' which they conveyed through judge at the talent audition.

The “indeed” ad makes a lot of sense, as everyone in the straw hat crew have different job titles. It just really throws you off in the beginning but at the end, you get it.

I’m amazed at all the comments still coming in. I remembered the gorilla playing drums from the early 2000’s but we had one of these during the 84 Super Bowl where apple introduced the Mac without ever showing the product. Arguably one of the best commercials ever.
