I'm not a drummer so I appreciate your insights and it makes me appreciate the amazing drumming more.
This was a nice video liked the technical information, Baard is a legendary drummer here in Norway.
Baard's kit tends to be beaten up, he breaks sticks all the time, pushes stuff out of the way in the middle of a song, places stuff in weird places so that he does not overplay them but then can't reach them when he wants to, and sometimes he does not look smooth at all. He is phenomenal, but also the antithesis of "academic" drumming.
I’ve never heard the term academic drumming. Could someone elaborate on what that means?
This playthrough is amazing, but I think "The Sky is Red" is a better demonstration of Baard skills, maybe one day you could check it out
I love sky is red, but i would say tjat Moon is my favorite of all his playthroughs.

The cymbal in front of him, who is broken, is a Sabian OZONE. The hole are "naturally" in a kind of way haha.

Baard is incredible, a great playthrough to watch would be illuminate is an insane drum pattern (or sky is red maybe?). More leprous & plini no this channel!
