I appreciate your video about the election. As a fellow Christian, young black man, I didn't vote for Trump. Too much of what I've read concerning the plans of his party (Project 2025) has led me to that conclusion. I comment because I am a bit lost: you speak on disinformation being a big problem (my people perish for lack of knowledge), you speak on liking Trump's policies more (despite outlining none of them), you say we shouldn't idolize our leaders (despite Republicans and MAGA people doing exactly that), you speak on Harris having celebrities at her rallies to sway voters (Trump did the exact same thing at his rallies, but I assume you're ok with the celebrities he brings out vs. Kamala)....I guess where I'm lost is it seems (to me) that your reasoning for voting how you all did is relatively hypocritical. I guess I'm really just asking for more clarification on how you got the conclusions you did concerning the race. Yes, I understand that based on your biblical study and the principles in the Bible, there are some things that Trump's party claimed they embrace, but what if you're wrong? What if Trump brings us closer to the One World Order, and not Kamala? Maybe I'm still a bit thrown from the election, but I just need some clarification from the group. I don't agree with how you voted, and some of your reasoning seemed weird to me because I came to similar conclusions that you came to about Kamala about Trump. I'd love to hear from you all. I appreciate you all not being afraid to speak truth. This is my first time seeing you videos and I'll definitely stay tapped in. Stay blessed!
I appreciate your comment my brother. I will preface by saying I’m speaking for myself in this comment. Trump stated he knew nothing about Project 2025 and that it was likely written by extremists. Ab*rtion and LGBT "rights" were mentioned, and the economy was briefly brought up as well. We are not political experts, and that was not the point of the video in the slightest. The point was to clarify where we stand on specific issues and why. I speak for my brothers in this: we do not idolize anyone. We made it clear that Trump has issues, as well as Kamala. We uplift Jesus Christ and the word of God ONLY. We speak for ourselves and no one else. Unless I recall incorrectly, the use of celebrities was not condemned. The idea that black people were swayed by the celebrities Kamala used to target our vote despite her ungodly, destructive, and perverse political agenda was condemned. Good or bad, right or wrong, I believe Trump is authentic, and I have no reason to believe he wouldn’t continue standing behind the values he represents and the policies he campaigned for. I never shared that sentiment with Kamala. I never remotely related to her messaging. As a Christ-following man, there was no way I was voting for a woman who adamantly rallied for horrific policies that are anti-child, anti-black, and most importantly, anti-Christ. Thank you for reaching out my brother and I hope to talk to you soon. Stay blessed.
About halfway through, great convo. After reading 1 Samuel 8, I’m not even sure if voting at all honors God. I definitely have more reading to do but that’s kinda where i’m leaning. Love the safe space though for black men to discuss politics
