Those Plano Edge Utility Spinnerbait boxes, the big hanging style ones you showed, are the best. You can pack so many baits in them and they stay in place. Here's my problem with the Edge 3700, and similar styles boxes like the Plano Elite, is that they don't hold the baits in place. Baits will pop loose from the holder. Or the dividers pop loose when they deform due to heat, and they will pop loose. Couple those two issues together and you wind up with a massive mess of spinnerbaits in your box. Especially if you drive your boat hard, which I do. I have a bunch of the Plano Elite's collecting dust in my shop. Maybe they'll work for you, but that's been my experience with that style of box over the past 10+ years.
Awesome video! Awesome product! All I use are the Plano Edge Series for tackle storage. I haven’t bought the new Edge 3700 Spinnerbait box yet and as of right now, I’m using the Edge Master Spinnerbait box. When I do get the Edge 3700 Spinnerbait box, I’m going to use the Edge Master Spinnerbait box for my soft plastics that I keep in their original bags. The dividers and the “rail” (what the spinnerbaits hang over) are removable which “technically” gives me the Plano Edge Master Plastics Box without the dividers that come with it that I wouldn’t be using anyway. 😁👍
You have got a LOT of spinnerbaits and also so many Plano EDGE boxes. 😂 Great to have your tackle organised but it takes a lot of organisation to get it all stored correctly. 😊
I'm still using the non Bill Dance version of the first one. Like a plastic tool box. It just works for me I can put my buzz baits or spinnerbaits in that I think I will use with no problem. I use to have a box very similar to the last one you show but it was advertised as a different tackle storage I believe. Had the same type slots and I use to use it for my jigs. It worked great but I found over time it was hard on the skirt material where they held the lure. It looked great and was very easy to organize though. Thanks for the video. Cant wait to see and hear about the small boat experiences. 👍
Thank for the video , I generally always carry that 3700 box so how would you pick what colors and blade types to take with you to a lake, river or pond ? Do a video on that subject please!
I have this same box when Plano made it in their “elite” lineup. Was a bit shallow but I liked the compactness of it compared to the first series of the edge boxes. Curious to see if they made them slightly deeper but i definitely like this design. Especially when you don’t have a ton of boat storage
@TackleJunky81 It been one of those summer we hadn't had for a long time. Having hurricane Lee last Saturday brought the river halfway up to flood stage. It washed out the highway just up river from Fredericton. Having the river this high all winter won't be good next spring when we have our flood in late May and early June. Long range weather has some rain next week, it will bring the rivers up some more. I wanted to do some fall smallmouth except the hurricane Lee ruined it for me from fishing from the riverbank. Have a great day
I wonder if you could take a row (or two) out and drop in the jig holder pieces and carry spinnerbaits and blades jigs in the same box. Heck could even swap out the regular jig holder strips because the box looks deeper than the edge jig box and I have seen the folks complaining about the shallow jig box compressing weedguards
i'll never leave the plano master boxes as i like to run the spinners from bottom up...the beeble and chibeeble that has the additonal chattering blade so there's no way to compress the wire down for the 3700. i do like the compact nature of the 3700 but with the aforementioned and the fact that i leave trailers on mine makes the master ideal. in any case, thanks for the different look on spinnerbait storage.
I’ve been contemplating this type of box for awhile. But do you think storing the arm bent like that for an extended period of time (maybe years) affects the bait at all?
You are truly a tackle junky...i think you have a problem 😂😂 i have a good amount of tackle, more then enough for me, but not gonna lie...i wish i had your funds to feed the addiction. Cool video brother.
Good review.
6:10 for the 3700 stuff

I really like it! Thanks for sharing this buddy! It really held the spinnerbaits nice. Easy to put in and take out. Keep up the good work my friend!

Right on buddy...good thinking! 👊💪
Some great options here .. thank you 👍💪
Appreciate you watching! 👊
Great video. Now I'm going to have to get one those boxes they look good. War eagle 3/8 double willow spinner baits are my go to!!
Right on! 👊

💯
I use the Buzbe Fast Flatz Bait Bag extra large to store my spinnerbaits. it works amazing if you're a bank angler and it barely takes up any room.
Right on! 👊
How many are you able to get in that bag?

You got it! 👊
@@TackleJunky81 thank you sir, I appreciate it
Dang it! Now I gotta buy that box 🤦♂️. Great video man!
🤣

I can see a shallower box bending the wires, but this particular box seems good so far. Appreciate you watching! 👊
We had more rain than sun this summer. When we did have sun it was too hot to stand on the riverbank fishing. I fish one day in June
We didn't get much rain at all...crazy year!

That's possible...I'll have to try it!

Definitely need this! Mines is all in a monsterbass bag! Lol
Get you one man! 👊💪
@@TackleJunky81 have you tried the buzbe boxes?! I got one from AAA And they are pretty solid
@MaineStreamFishing yes sir, I have a handful of them as well...definitely a solid box!
I’ve been contemplating this type of box for awhile. But do you think storing the arm bent like that for an extended period of time (maybe years) affects the bait at all?
They aren't getting bent much at all, so I can't see any issues in the future.
I have one of the boxes I love them 👊👍
👊💪
Do you know if they fixed the jig box to not hit the skirts this icast? They mentioned it but nobody’s been saying anything
I haven't heard anything on that.

My name definitely fits! 😂 Appreciate you! 👊
Good video nice review👍
Thanks man! 👊
Please do a full indept video on your spinnerbaits thanks 😊
Right on! 👊
Does this new box hold the spinnerbaits with trailers on them?
Yes.
I still have a 99309 box!
Right on! 👊
I can’t figure out how they are supposed to go in any help appreciated
I show you at the end of the video.
That old spinnerbait box lol
I may have to start using it again! 🤔
