Never heard of the Bionic reading method. It looks really cool.

I can't say I'm really a fan of this format, but I appreciate you spotlighting another Bible that I truly didn't know existed! I guess I could see this being helpful to someone who is completely new to scripture and needs to get a basic understanding of each book (though in that case I'm not sure I'd recommend starting out with the KJV). Very interesting nonetheless

I do not like the format of this Bible at all. However, I love the idea of a bionic Bible. I'm a relatively fast reader. Your example showed me how much faster I can read with great comprehension using this process. You see (all the time) those example where all the letters are scrambled except the 1st and last letter of each word. I can breeze through them as if all was spelled correctly. This shows how well the computer between your ears, that God created, works.

I agree! I think it would be a neat concept, especially in an updated text like the CSB. I know some people mock reading the Bible quickly, but there's a benefit to it. It easier for me to recall details and references to prior happenings when I read through it quickly, verses a slow verse by verse study. There are benefits to both!

"Complete Authorized King James Version' and then they've omitted the Apocrypha?! The cheek!

Interesting ..but I have to read slowly to comprehend that which I am reading. I do tend to skim through when there is list of names (many I can not pronounce even if I tried). Yes I''ve been through the Bible about 20 times in different translations over the last 35 years..but I know I've read the New Testament far more these days. Chronicles is a tough one for me with all those names.

Same! Chronicles and Numbers are the two books I struggle in. I have to read slowly to comprehend also.

I think all options should be on the table but I don't understand why people choose KJV as a legitimate option since 1900. There are so many concordances, study bibles, interlinear editions, updated updates... all to just understand KJV wording instead of pondering the lessons within.
Now let's skip through it so we don't even read enough of the whole to have a chance of comprehending the entirety of the work?
