for those who don't get the joke, sometimes an animal will wander onto the bridge while 2b is suffering from fatal corruption, 2b HAS to cross that bridge in order to initiate route C proper. with most of her UI disabled, 2b can't get by the animal, she can't jump, can't hit it, can't shoot. you're basically fucked if this happens.
The first time I had to complete this part of the game I got smacked by an enemy as I can out of the tunnel and ended up at the bottom on the sunken city, unable to climb the ladder back up due to the damage.
@@Roshiyoshiiii657 I think they mean a patch fixing the ai so an animal randomly appearing at the bridge at that moment doesn't happen, not "fixing" 2b in that situation.

yes and no, the mechanic is similar, there's a gauge that goes up to indicate corruptions levels, but it's semi-scripted...it HAS a fail-state but for the most part it's scripted to increase based on how close or far from your goal you are...so if you reach a checkpoint it'll immediately increase and temporarily disable your ui, and you have to make sure no enemies are around when it happens.
I had a dream where I was surviving in a wasteland during the winter. I found a house with supplies but I knew it was a trap. The stache was upstairs so I headed towards them to catch anyone off gaurd if they came up, someone did, but I hesitated to pull the trigger, I aimed at them and they aimed at me, I still didn't shoot, wind could be heard outside from a blizzard. Well they shot me before I realized, and suddenly everything went quiet, the wind, the gunshot became muffled, and my slam as I hit the ground muffled as well. I knew I was hit in the head from the pressure I felt, was painless, left of my forehead to be exact, and my vision in my left eye slanted.
