@@nicoleb695 Lovely. I’m just scared of both, coming from a small village in Ontario. A bear tried to break into our house one time. And the general advice was to avoid going into the forest (or too far from the little cluster of houses near us) without a rifle/other means of defending yourself, especially in the spring. And since the thought of using a gun is terrifying to me (and i was too young to legally handle a gun at that time)- my dog didn’t get many walks in the spring (we had a large yard though). The old guys (including my dad) would all keep watch, and would let everyone know if a mother bear with cubs was spotted near by- if so, my mom wouldn’t let me out of our driveway.

We have a lot of psychics in my mother's side of the family. My great-grandfather was one. He was in the woods one day, chopping some logs, and out of nowhere he sees his brother. He goes ''hey! when did you get here, I didn't even hear or see you coming!'' His brother responds ''You need to go back to the village''. Obviously my great-grandpa had some questions, but all his brother would answer is that he needed to go to the village. So he bends down to take his axe like ''oh well, if you say so, okay'' and when he faces back up, his brother is gone. When he got to the village, he learned that his brother had just died.
My family has stuff like that too. We always know when someone in the family/close to the family has died. We also know when to avoid something bc it would kill us. I’ve prevented a fatal car accident by giving my bf (the driver) a warning that if we do this thing we’ll die. My great grandfather died on a plane and when my great grandmother called my grandma, my grandma knew her dad was dead before my Nana said a single word. How did she know? She felt him die.
I had a similar experience, it was during my elementary days, I was sitting in class when for some reason, I saw my dad banging on the windows in my class from outside, it creeped me out because we were on the second floor, and I woke up, realizing I was asleep the whole time. I felt very strange all day, like I did something wrong or something bad happened. Me and my sister come home to find out our grandpa died. Others in the family also said they felt something strange that day, so it just overall was creepy. The worst part is he died before any of us woke up in our sleep, so we thought he was fine when we left, but he was long-gone.
My great uncle Charlie was closing up the ducks one night. On his way home he spotted his landlady and they politely greeted each other and Charlie proceeded to go home. When home, my great aunt asked what was wrong. As he apparently was a white as a ghost. "I just saw Ms Guinness." Ms Guinness was dead. Fun fact: This same great uncle chopped his hand off with an old lawnmower. They sewed it back on but it never healed right.
The "Northern Lights" story: Totally could have been a Military Aircraft that happened to notice a bunch of people standing on top of the boat roof (a classic sign of distress on the waters as it gets them higher hence more visible from a distance) They would have totally spotlighted them to make sure everything was okay, and from multiple angles just to make sure. Most in distress that get spotlighted tend to wave franticly for attention, if they did not see that they would have left them alone after they confirmed. They may have even done so with Radio Silence for reasons as well.

One time a friend and I were sitting on the couch talking. We were both facing the mantle shelf above the fire. Suddenly a photo which was tucked behind an ornament at one end of the shelf rose a couple of inches, moved sideways so it was hanging over a gap, moved back and slotted itself back behind the ornament. No, there was no draft. I still have not figured it out.
Before I became disabled I was a security guard. This story is from the time I was assigned to an abandoned hospital. Abandoned meaning no longer functioning as a working hospital. A lot of supplies and furniture and stuff was still in there, hence why they needed a guard. Once they emptied it out they were planning to turn it into a rehabilitation center. Just FYI but I was 18 years old (31 years ago), 5' 3" tall, 100 pounds, and I'm a female. Anyway... First night there and I start my rounds after getting settled in -- putting my lunch away, getting the log started for the night, etc. As I'm walking past a nurses' station and heading towards patient rooms, I think I hear running water. I figure work crews that were there earlier in the day might have forgotten to turn a faucet off or something so I start trying to source which room it's coming from. The sound gets louder as I approach a door so I peek inside with my flashlight. A lot of lights are still on in the hospital's main corridors, but the patient rooms are dark. This one is still furnished -- bed (no sheets or pillows), side table, hutch for patients to put their belongings in, etc. As soon as my flashlight illuminates the bathroom door, the sound stops. I shit you not. I was seriously startled but tried to stay level headed. Maybe there was a worker who hadn't left yet. So I call out, "Hello? I'm the security guard. Who's there?" Nothing. Zero sounds of any kind. I say a little firmer, "Hello? Pretty sure everyone is supposed to be out of the building." Still nothing. I try to reason with myself... it might have been a faulty toilet running or something. Sometimes if the leak is slow, the water will run periodically instead of constantly. So I walk away and continue my rounds. After hitting all the check points I head back to 'home base,' where I'd set myself up earlier. No sounds while approaching that same patient room but, after I had passed it by about 5 feet, the running water sounds returned. I spun around and just stared, waiting. Several minutes went by and the water sounds didn't stop. So I took a step forward. Silence. The sounds stopped dead as soon as I took the step. Well shit. Ghost or ax murderer? I slowly stepped back up to the room while saying firmly, "This is security. No one is supposed to be in the building at this time. Please show yourself so I can escort you to the exit." Nothing. So I peek in again with my flashlight. Still nothing. I locate the room's light switch and flip it. Nothing happens. Okaaaay... Weird. The electrical was still on in the entire building so, theoretically, this light should work. At this point I'm too unnerved to go into the room's bathroom so I just walk away and continue back to home base. A couple hours later and it's time for rounds again. The whole two hours had been hear-a-pin-drop silent, which gave me a false sense of security. It remained silent as I approached the room again, but as soon as I was lined up with the open door as I walked by, I heard the water sound again, only this time it was just a quick on and off. 'Leaky toilets don't behave like this,' I told myself. I stood in the doorway, flashlight pointed at the bathroom door, and said, "I'm gonna need you to come out of the bathroom now." And, you guessed it, silence. "I'll call the police if I have to!" More nothingness. I'm pretty flustered by this point so I make a mental note of the room number and double-time back to home base. I picked up the phone, ready to call the police, but I didn't want to seem stupid or like a scaredy cat to my employers so, instead, I called my dad. I told him what was up and said, "If it's a ghost, pretty sure it won't hurt me. My concern is, what if it's a vagrant or something? Not keen on being locked in a building with someone who could be violent for all I know." Dad came down to the hospital but stayed outside in his car. He could see me while at home base, and I'd wave when going out on my rounds. He knew that if I wasn't back in 35 to 45 minutes, to call the police. I waved and headed out on my next scheduled rounds, feeling a little better about my dad being my safety net. I approach the room again and again there's no sound. Okay, good. I'm lined up with the open door and still no sounds. Good. I take a few steps forward past the door and... movement caught my eye peripherally. I turned and shined my flashlight into the room. The hutch that was in the room? The door was now open. It was NOT open before. I noped the fuck out of there, headed back to home base without finishing my rounds, and stayed there the rest of the night, right where my dad could see me. I lied in the log and said I was doing rounds every couple hours, as I was supposed to. When my shift ended and my replacement arrived, I pointed out the parts in the log that mentioned the weird room and joked that there might be a ghost and just split. When the company asked if I wanted to work the hospital again, I said nope before she was even done asking. I ended up asking weeks later if any of the guards working night shift at the hospital had anything weird happen. They said no.
I had many a strange occurrence while working 3rd shift cleaning the Golden arches. This will be the one that I never figured out. I was there alone for the long shift of cleaning. This was in the middle of my shift and I was mopping by the drive thru window. Just by happen stance, something caught my eye and I looked up to see my reflection in the glass. I stared for a second at my reflection until I noticed that my eyes in the reflection were red with a soft glow. I dismissed it knowing that the bank across the street had a red light on the side of the building that face the drive thru. I dismissed it it until I noticed that my reflection was smiling back at me. That was the WTF and the NOPE moment that had me go and sit in the crew room til the morning manager came in. I needed the job cause it was Hella good pay with manager benefits at the time. This was not the only occurrence while I worked there for 12 years but its the one that freaked me the hell out.
That last story: voodoo doll. The man tried to use a voodoo doll of himself to commit not alive with the Bobby pins, and I guess it worked after he hanged himself.
I just wanted to mention that the term "Voodoo doll" is pretty inaccurate, as talismans like that arent reeally used in the actual Voodoo religion. but yes they are used in other practices
Back in the late fall of 2001 I lived in a remote area on a small farm. I was outside late one pitch black moonless night when I heard a creepy animal sound that I had never heard before. I was expecting to be attacked by a wild animal. Eventually I figured out days later that it was just a peacock. 😂
I grew up on a farm in the middle of nowhere, my relatives where visiting and it was late and very stormy outside and we had lambs to feed. My aunt and cousin volunteered to go out and feed them and shorty after they left my younger brother decided to join them. About 30 minutes later and they haven't returned so we sent dad out to go and check on them, after he left my brother show up at the house just laughing and said just wait for it. Turns out he didn't join them but went into the bushes/forest area of the sheep pen and was making Cougar noises which terrified my aunt and she locked themselves inside the tiny sheep barn until my dad showed up. My aunt thought that was the funniest thing ever and we still talk about it 15 years after it happened.
I haven’t had any scary encounters at work, as I’m 15 so I can’t really work, however I have had a scary encounter whilst camping. This happened about 5 or six years ago while me and my friends family were staying at a campsite, it was fairly empty there, say 12 other tents spread far apart. Anyway, I was walking back to our tent from the toilet blocks which was about 1.5km, and you need to walk for about 200m in a wooded area, then I saw it/him/her, they were very tall, I mean VERY TALL, like 6’7 or so. I can’t remember and details about them, except they were really creepily waving at me so slowly, they had really lanky fingers, I sprinted outta there and I could hear twigs and leaves cronching behind me, getting closer. I was basically crapping myself. I managed to run to the end of the woods and as I entered the clearing which had ours and a few other tents I couldn’t hear it anymore . I turned around and shined my hella bright torch in the trees and it was not there, like it should be there because it was right behind me. I don’t believe in the paranormal so I don’t know what to think of this, the slow wave still haunts me to this day.

Scary stuff with me: When I woke up one night I had to use the bathroom and when I switched on the light it looked like a big demon head was looking at me from the wall. When I had to walk through a forrest at night I always heard movement in the grass and leafes. when I turned around at one point I could see some animal eyes staring at me. Might just have been some deer but I was scared a little. I just hoped to not choose the wrong way through the rest of the forrest. When I was home alone as a kid once I answered a phone call and the voice sounded like my brother so I was instantly "Come on I know it's you." even when the voice told me it's not my brother. Later when I asked my brother and parents who were with him all the time they said he hadn't called me. I guess a stranger was as confused about my reaction as I was that this wasn' my brother. In my hometown I once saw a grave at the graveyard with my name on the tomb. I never found that grave again to show it to people.
A friend and I were backpacking / camping in deepest darkest Surrey ( about 35 miles south of London ). We were staying at a youth hostel and were making our way back to the campsite when we heard a scream. We looked at each for split second...then there's ANOTHER scream. The nearest main road to this place was a couple of miles away...through a Forrest. So...as you do...we took of running...towards where the screams had come from. We're practically sprinting over very rough ground and tree roots. We got to where the sound had come from...there's NOTHING there...or so we thought. We both heard a twig snap and spun, my mate who was behind me called out ( paraphrased ) 'Who ever's in those effing bushes you better come out or I'M COMING IN after you'. Then...THEN...a guy stepped out. Keep in mind the location. It's PITCH BLACK...there's no moon, there are NO street lights for a few MILES. Guy steps out...he's wearing a nice sports jacket ( I used to work in menswear...so I notice these kind of details ) a waistcoat, checked shirt and woollen tie, smart shoes and a cap. He does NOT have a torch ( flashlight ). While my mate is talking to him I felt my 'spidey sense' kick in...somebody ELSE was watching us ! So I kind of slipped of to one side a bit, standing near some bushes I carefully looked around...and see a guy with a 'long gun'...I'm not sure if it's a shotgun or rifle...but it's pointing at my friend. So I silently stepped away, grabbed my mates arm and said something along the lines of 'we can go now'. My friend starts to disagree with me...so I jammed my fingers into his Ulna nerve and basically drag him away. We get about 50 feet away before he breaks my grip and starts swearing at me. I jumped forward and put my hand over his mouth to get him to shut the eff up! NOW he gets that's something's up...I told him what I'd seen, then we leg it back to the youth hostel and tell the warden. He phones the Police...AND the local gamekeeper...who just 'happens' to be ex - SAS. An hour or so later we hear 'BOOM...BOOM'. THAT was the gamekeeper...who had just shot 2 poachers in the arse...with rock-salt :-)
My dad does maintenance for Mickey D's. Sometimes that takes him out to really small towns that only have one stop light, and that were out in the boonies. There was this one town he had to go to that was just so small, and they just had built this Mickey D's ( back in 2005 was when this took place). It was his last stop, but his shop in "Big city" was about five hours away and another drive back home depending on traffic. Anyway after finishing what he did at this new Mickey D's staffed fully by teens, the oldest being like 20 or 21, he left and said to call him or his boss if they had questions. By the time time he was done it was super dark outside, and or felt even darker since it was mid winter. He got into his work van and about it goes dead. He couldn't get it started, he tried calling his boss, co workers, and my mom to see if someone could pick him up ( my sister was 17 at the time) but couldn't get anyone on his phone realized he didn't have a signal. After what felt like an eternity he finally got his car started, and called my mom he was going to be late. He didn't tell his boss when he got back to the shop. But he did take his van to the mechanic and there was nothing to wrong with the van. He went back to the town one more time, but never went back there since they soon closed that Micky D's in 2007. My dad is normally not a man to get scared but he was so shook up about it that day.
I had two encounters that still haunt me, in 2006 I was selling books on the shopping street, Meir - Antwerpen. It was my first try, I had to sell 5 books, so far I sold 3 - I walk to a man, ask if he's interested in one of our books (btw, nothing Christian or religious, just books - if you donated, you got the book for free (weird system) the man gave me this smile and I froze as he took my hand, he said: "Let me tell you something..." - he got everything right, all the negative stuff into details that happened to me, like: you worked in a buthery where they bullied you badly and lost your precious dream, she's watching over you, you will reuntie when the time comes." I had tears rolling over my eyes - because he mentioned my misscarriege and he smiled and said: "Good luck, don't give up!" I stood there and the one in charge looked at me, heard everything, saw how freaked out I was. It then hit me, I had questions, just a few, I ran after him but he just, vanished, in the middle of the shopping street, there weren't that many people on the Meir... The other incident happened few years ago, I don't take drugs just in case, I just bhought the newest comic by my favorite artists (Skydoll) and I was reading and waiting for the subway. It was fairly quiet - I suddenly look up, I saw a lady run to get her subway and a white human shape behind her. It was light a human shape. I looked around if someone else saw it, no, just me... I thought Iimagined it but it turned it's head at me and I heard (swear it on my life)" she's dying tonight, I'm here to take her to Heaven." The lights flickered and the subway closed and left. I just sat there like: ... Did I imagine this, I ... *looks at comic* no, I'm clearly awake... And sadly, two weeks ago, Ihad my first sleep paralyzes. I couldn't move, I was awake and I tried to yell 'mom help' but nothing happened, then I saw a vaguelly red thing above me, it slowly turned it's head with a huge grin, I never saw something so creepy and I couldn't scream at all! All I know is, I thought: "If you dare touching me, I will* it touched my belly and I had shivers that just ... I never felt that. I contacted my doctor who thinks I'm just f'ing stressed out with my work and wrote a medicine I don't want to take, I haven't had another episode so far - just only have constantly headaches. I have another one with a witness, in 2008 - my friend LOVES to walk outside in the dark when the moon is bright, I was staying over at her place in North of Holland, so many stars, where I live, I'm lucky to see one... but there, so many stars. We were both talking about life when a star moved, we thought it was an aircraft or a satelite, the star came closer, becoming bigger and bigger and bigger and a sudden U turn and vanished into space. She pinshed me and I pinshed her. We were freaking out for weeks - sometimes we mention that again, just to go: "We're not crazy, right?" - "YOU SAW IT TOO!!!!" I remember few weeks later, my brother was staring at the sky, his head behind the curtain. I looked at him and asked: "What's wrong, is someone bothering you?" - I turn to take something from the fridge, he said: "It's the stars!" I turn to him: "What?" - he: "They are moving!!!!" - Me: Probably satelites (totally not mentioning what my friend and I saw) He: Oh yeah? *pulls me to the window* LOOKATITLOOKATIT! - I just said: "Yeah, I see it..." to calm him down, strange coincedence - The U turn was weird, no flickering lights, just a star, white going huge and U turn and vanish - my friend mentioned later, it went through the gates of Orion (she knows the starlining beter than I do). If anyone has read this 'till here, I didn't write one lie in this post and I swear on my life, this is what I saw - tbh, I don't want to know about ghosts, spirits etc - I still blame myself for joining a night with an Oujia board when I was 12 - I knew it was fake - but I am going to stay away from those things and what I badly wanted to ask the man who read my hand, "Is there an afterlife without pain!?" - Well, this is my freaky post. I don't lie and I wish I imagined this... - might delete this post, who knows - fear is something that can make you imagine things - but I can't explain what my friend and I saw, all she drank was a cup of coffee and me a cup of hot coco.
I have a creepy Story for u guys. First of I'm from Austria so English isn't my first language so sorry for my spelling in advance. This story happened 5 years ago so 1 was 11 and my little sister was seven. We used to love playing together in the woods on the left side of our house our house is surrounded by woods and we own most of it but the woods on the left side are different. We don't really know who they belong to but we now that the owner does not care about them at all. He never cuts out wood with leads to very thick dark forest where little light touches the ground and many trees ar fallen over or just grow in a wild way there's also a little river and basically the only way to cross it is over fallen over trees I actually fell in once but that's another story. Like I said my sister and I loved to play there especially hide and seak or catch me on that oerticiular day we hand once again wondered far in to the forest we where at least 2 miles from any houses or villages. Whe where playing catch when we spotted the lonely nerow road that went through the middle of the woods. That meant that we probably should go home because I knew do to the forest growing so wild it would probably take us about an hour to get hone. So I stopped and my sister caught me. That's when a black van drove up and stopped about 20 meters from us Two men came out of it. They looked quite friendly I remember that one was wearing a green shirt and I still remember both of their faces. The younger on began walking towards us and talking about how he was lost and if we could help him. He was about 10 meters from us by now and I wanted to run towards him to help him becouse well first I always had far to much trust in to strangers and second he seamed friendly. That's when my sister grabbed my arm and and started running I was totally confused but when I looked back I saw that one of the men was running after us that's whe it clicked. We ran ran for our lives and if we would have run along the street we surly would have been screwed. The man was much faster and it's important to know that at this point we where so far out that nobody would have heard our screams even if we screamed our lungs out. But we ran into the forest and we knew this forest we jumped over fallen over trees ran through dorny bushes and so on. After a few minutes he must have lost us or give up but we did not see him any more. Still we ceapt running we fell multiple times scratched our faces and my sister even fell on a rock and hurt her knee but we ceapt going we ran the whole distance home at least I did. Because of her nee I gave my sister a piggyback because of her knee for the last part thankfully she was extremely slim and didn't, weigh much when we where home we tumbled in to the grase we where save it took us a few minutes to catch our breath when went inside my mom freaked out and started bandaging my sisters knee. She was pretty mad and scolded us. She had the radio on and I that exactl moment the radio guy was talking about thwo white men in a black ven who where kidnapping children and how parents should not let their kids out alone. The description matched perfectly. Later I asked my sister how she knew those guys where dangerous and she said she saw a gun on the car dashboard. I will never stop being thankful to my sister because that day she saved my life.
Just one of the many instances that proves just how protective of you, a sibling can be. Regardless of whether they are older than you, or younger than you. Sure, siblings don't always get along, but that *doesn't* mean that they can't/won't ever get protective of you. It's definitely one of the major reasons I'm thankful for my younger brother (he and I are two years apart).

something similar happen to be wheni ws a kid, i was net to a parc in Montréal playing in the bush(not the naughty type of bush you dirty minded pepol) whit my younger uncle and 1 cousin that is 1 years younguer then me, and a woman park her car near us and had a eagle on her arms and asked us if we could take care of her bird because he need water and she have to go find some, me i always liked animals and liked to help pepol so i was going to do it but my uncle and cousin stoped me before i got even closer and we run away,i only understood later that day what could had happen. Also that woman did not look weird or dangerous, she was quite a beautifull pedophile or kidnaping woman.
Back when I was 14, I had really bad sleeping problems. They are better now but im pretty sure I was in some short of sleep paralysis. I was facing my door when I saw a shadow walk down the hall. It scard the shit out of me. I calmed down seeing it was my dad and somehow went back to sleep. When I woke up I was in a panic again just now remembering my dad had died suddenly days ago. No idea if I was going crazy from lack of sleep or what.
I LOVE stories like these! It’s kind of a cool break from the normal videos you do. Creepy stories fascinate me. Btw it’s possible that one poster might’ve heard a couple of mountain lions mating, I saw a TikTok video the other day where a guy was in a deer stand and he recorded what sounded like two mountain lions getting it on, it was god awful. Hell cats in general when in heat make the scariest sounds at 3 am!
There's a scientific reason for silence on snowy nights. The snow almost acts as a sound proofer, like putting egg cartons on the walls. That's why it seems so quiet during heavy snowfalls.

The story with the newspaper kid reminded me of when I was in my neighborhood selling girl scout cookies with my mom and there was a man with a black leather jacket, tattoos, and sunglasses by our neighbors door. I asked him if he wanted Girl Scout cookies but he said no and quickly left. We later came back to that house and our neighbor asked if we saw the man and apparently he was actually trying to break in
I had a similar experience to the first one: One place I lived-VERY haunted and creepy on some streets-had a school or church-type gathering place(it’s been a while so I can’t really remember) but it was to celebrate events and almost every night between 1-2am really weird ethereal flute music would play(and not like sounding it was stemming from one source, just like it was floating everywhere); I went to the place to figure out who would be doing that at all hours, but turned out the music had no source that I could figure out.
A friend of mine was working the night shift on a drilling rig... He was leaving the rig floor around 2 AM to go grab a sandwich from his trailer. About halfway across he saw an animal jump onto his porch out of the trash can. He thought it was a raccoon... Then it jumped down and ran under the house... and he saw the 3 ft long tail. Yeah he started walking backwards and went back up to the rig floor... he didn't want to fight a cougar for a chicken sandwich.
One time at Girl Scout camp (in Ohio) our lazy scout leader sent me and 2 other girls to the latrine by ourselves in the middle of the night (we all were under the age of 10). The Latrine was down a long path that went further into the forest. We get 20-30 feet away from the latrines and both doors slowing swung open at the same time and the doors just stayed open (the doors are weighted so animals /wind couldn’t open them up. The only way they stay open is if someone is standing there holding them. We could clearly see there was no one holding them open) we literally all just stood there in shock with our mouths hanging open. Then suddenly both doors slammed closed HARD. I remember trying to scream but no sound came out I was so scared. We all took off running back to our cabin. One girl even peed her pants. Of course of Girl Scout leader didnt to believe us....... I ended up getting sent back to the latrine by myself later because I still had to go.... (horrible leader, she didn’t like me) I peed in a bush like 10 ft from the cabin and pretended I went to the latrine. years later I found out that Girl Scout camp was built on Native American hunting grounds and is rumored to be haunted by Native Americans.
For me it was not at work but at school we were singing a song, then I saw a person with a black suit looking at me they started to walk to me then they tapped my head then I passed out
I'm not kidding but my friend Sean own a summer home in the states (were Austrailiaian but we live in the states now) and when i say home I mean mansion in the hecking woods 32.187 klios out into the woods ( 20 miles I think) and there are three paths, the middle leads to the mansion, the left leads to some old mining caves that we've explored, and the right leads to an electric fence that we don't know what's behind it. Let me tell you something about Sean he has a condition where he can't feel pain, I'm not making that up. So we explore the right path and he does the stupidist shit ever and touches it and pretends to be electricfied, and then I relize how would he know pretty sure He wouldn'tt be able to feel that.
@@demoninpink7848 More specifically, electricity causes your muscles to involuntarily contract which is why if you grab on to something roughly hand sized such as an electrified metal pipe you literally cannot let go of it, so just because he doesn't feel the pain doesn't make it any less dangerous.
Kind of reminds me of the time I saw 5 guys ahead of me on a trail / cross country path. They had all stopped and were looking around. Then one of them stepped up to a fence and unzipped his flies for a piddle, the other guys joined him. What none of them had spotted was the electric cattle wire...and they pee'd right onto it...and I nearly wet myself laughing.

Back in the early 80's I worked for a company that sold/serviced carpet cleaning equipment, i was in my early 20's. I was getting ready to sign out and leave on this one Friday and the Service Manager came up and handed me a service ticket and asked if I could take care of this service call, being it was on my way home , I said sure. I had never been to this place or even heard of it, but being in rural southwestern Virginia it wasn't hard to find. When I got to the community a weird feeling came over me, even though it was still light out there wasn't a soul to be seen, not even a dog or cat, nothing. I finally found the house and I kid you not, it resembled the one on the Munsters TV series, I kind of laughed to myself and said you've got to be kidding. Anyway I went up to the porch and knocked, no one answered the door. I knocked a few more times and then proceeded to walk around the house to the back door. No answer there either. So I decided to leave. When I came back around the front, there on the porch sat the machine with an extension cord sticking out from the door. I nervously looked around and then went to work fixing the machine, ( it turned out to be a bad bearing and broken belt.) I tested the unit and it worked perfect, knocked on the door and sad the unit is fixed. No answer, so I repeated myself, still no answer, then I heard a noise coming from the rear of the house and I walked around back to tell them I was done, there was no one there. I turned around and went back down the driveway to the front, telling myself I was done with this crap. When I got to the front edge of the porch I looked up and the machine and extension cord were no longer there. I picked up my service bag and literally ran to my vehicle. I'll bet those people have never seen anybody drive that fast through there community.

3:05 as someone who enjoys hunting in wilderness like this, I believe being stared down by a rogue moose with possibly malicious intent is WAY scarier than anything a bear could do. I always keep in the back of my mind that moose are nature's death machines.
Ok so this happened to my dad when he was like 5 or 6. My dad left his room to get some water, there was a well dressed old man sitting in the rocking chair in the living room. The old man smiled at my dad and held his hand out, my dad freaked out and ran to his parents, when they got there the man was gone. My dad's parents asked him what happened and when my dad explained his mom started crying. Turns out that was my dad's grandfather who died before he was born.

Ok, so, creepiest encounter I've ever had? Way back in 2014, a couple friends and I went on a midnight hike. As we were walking along the trail we started hearing this quiet music, like from a music box, coming from off in the distance. We round a corner and come upon what looked like an old farm house just... out in the middle of nowhere in this canyon, where the music was coming from and with a single blue light shining through the window. We just stood there staring at the house for what must've been ages, it looked so out of place, like one of the bayou houses (kinda run down, over grown with shrubs) from Pirates of the Carribian ride, but in the middle of a canyon in California. Now, one of my friends just started walking towards this creepy-ass-middle-of-nowhere-hut. We grabbed her to pull her back and ask what the hell she thought she was doing? She said; "I don't know I just... want to go in and look." We said; "No, at best this is tresspassing, at worst this is the start of a horror film, we are leaving. Now." We turned, left, and made the 30 minute treck back to my truck, but the entire trip back we could still hear the music box right up until we hopped in the truck and left.
The delivery story reminded me of when I worked as a package delivery assistant. I won't give out which company, but it's a major one in the US. My job was to ride with the driver and be the actual guy who walks out and puts packages next to doors and deliver packages into businesses. The driver liked to mess with me, letting me deal with the uncomfortable deliveries all by myself, including a delivery to an adult store. As uncomfortable as I was, this was something I thought I would just have to deal with. Until one point where we drove up to a walled, unmarked brick building. The driver had this absolutely huge smile, telling me this would be another one of those "uncomfortable" deliveries, and told me to go past the gate and deliver a package into the business. The lack of markings was weird but people were around so it didn't seem all that creepy. As I walked past the gate it definitely took a very strange turn - everybody was staring at me. These weren't blank stares either, they were all a mix of sheer terror or unbridled rage. I then noticed all of them were female. I kept growing uncomfortable until an officer lady walked up to me in a rush and sternly asked what I thought I was doing there. I told her I had a delivery for this place and asked what I did to get such looks from everyone. She explained where I was exactly: I WAS AT A BATTERED WOMEN'S SHELTER! She left it to the bare bones explanation while giving me a clear "do you understand?" look. The package was indeed for the place but apparently there is an entire process to get the packages there that I shouldn't have been involved with at all. She took me back to the delivery truck, made a note of the now-silent driver, the license plate, and told us to leave. The next day, after I could properly process the situation, I went back to the office and immediately spoke with my boss about it. After explaining what happen, my boss told me "If we were going to send you to a place occupied with drugs and gangs, do you really think we would tell you about it?" I was so baffled at his question it took me a bit to finally stutter out "uh... YES! F- that, I quit!" and bolted. It was total silence after that. No phone calls, messages, or anything except my final paycheck. I still wonder what that was all about, but probably best I don't know.
Actually the blades you use to skin a cow, are small and really sharp... you often have to keep sharpening them while you are skinning. Best part, is using a reciprocating saw to cut it up. After it hangs, you use basically a huge band saw.

My recent creepy encounter is actually my pinned tweet on twitter (@SteviiLove) I had just got my security camera from my brother a week prior and didn't have an SD card yet. For some reason at 8:30ish I got the urge to check the live feed and noticed a weird light that looked like a bug but it didn't move like the other bugs, above our shed as tall as the roof of the second story which is easily 25 feet in the air and at least 12 feet higher than the first story roof. As I've lived here for 27 years, I know it's not possible to be human or animal; it was just floating in the air. I watched for 3 and a half minutes before getting up and turning on the outside light to try and get a better view. I couldn't see it through my window, only through the infrared camera and literally as soon as I turned the light on, it looked like a lighter being lit and floated away in a straight line. I ended up screen recording it for proof and you can clearly hear my shock when I say what is that? My parents, fiance and brother who all know this area as well as I do know it's not natural and we've never seen anything like it before or sense. I now have an SD card but of course haven't caught anything like it since.
I work graveyard (midnight to 8) at a women's rehab 30 miles outside of our little nowhere mountain town of less than 6,000 so suffice to say we're very remote. A woman showed up at 2am and knocked on the door, no car, no bike, the cameras didn't show any vehicle anywhere near the perimeter- it actually didn't show her coming onto the property at all. I ask if I can help her she said "I came to visit". Obviously I told her "Well, there's no visits and unless you're a scheduled intake I'm going to have to ask you to leave." She then turns and walks away into the field. I tried for what had to be an hour going over the security footage, none of our motion sensors picked her up, no camera even the ones pointed at the field had her only at the front door with me when I answered it. I have no idea how to explain it, some cameras overlap, she absolutely should have shown up when she walked away. I don't know what the hell I opened the door to but I'm glad I didn't invite it in
That pizza delivery one reminded me of a story my dad told me, I don’t remember what he said exactly but basically he was working as a pizza delivery worker and after getting out of his car, someone came out and held him at gun point, he reflexively nocked the gun out of his hands and, ran into the nearby woods and called the police, I don’t remember if they caught the guy or not.
My cousin had an encounter that really freaked her out once. She was home alone at night and was waiting for the rest of the family to return from a trip. She’s sitting in kitchen on her phone when she hears a car pull up in the driveway. She looks at the time and it’s hours before when the fan should be arriving so she discreetly checks the car. Nope, it’s not the family’s car, it’s someone else. As she backs away from the window, she sees two men get out of the car and head for the side door to the house. They start knocking. My cousin started panicking and decided her best option was to hide. As quietly as she could, she grabbed a weapon from the kitchen’s utensil drawer (without looking) and locked herself in the bathroom and jumped into the shower for cover. That’s when she looked to see what she grabbed and realized she didn’t grab a knife, but had a blunt pie cutter to defend herself. Meanwhile the two men are still periodically knocking on the door. After about ten minutes, they left and she was able to calm down and leave the bathroom. She later found out who was at the door. It was me and my brother delivering a pie. Our uncle forgot to call her and let her know we’d be stopping by.
Used to work Security at a solar field that was being built, about 20 miles outside of town, the closest thing out there was a truck stop 2 miles away, off the interstate. Late at night we would hear drums beating off the mountains, see shadow figures around corners, and one time I was almost pulled off the cart used to make rounds, it was creepy and always felt like you were being watched...
Really short story but... One time what about 7:30 p.m. I was just chilling on my bed laying down being tired, (for context my bed has a wall on the left side but when you're laying in it it looks like the right), I was facing towards the wall, probably going to take a nap or something, and then I heard this semi loud, unhumanly gag under the bed, and then I just noped out of there and chilled on the couch with my brother... Call me stupid but I did check under there... There was nothing. Not my dog, not my siblings trying to scare me, nothing... Nobody else heard it either.
I'm probably the creepy guy in a number of peoples' stories. When I was younger, I could sneak up on people without really trying and it often happened completely unintentionally. I'd walk up to a neighbor and they wouldn't notice until I was right beside them and a couple of times I could walk down the block to a group of them and actually join the circle and still it might be a few seconds before anyone realized I was there and everyone was startled. I could even stalk cats and dogs without too much trouble. After doing this a couple of times to a neighbor's cat, including twice kneeling just beyond the sweep of its tail for a minute or two before it noticed me, the poor thing was so paranoid it would either run past my house or stay on the other side of the street. The best one though was follow a rare for the area heavy snow. As often happened the snow ended with some sleet and freezing rain so their was a crust over top of the snow. It was maybe 11 PM and I was bored so I went out for a walk. There were a lot of trees in the neighborhood but there was also an open area just at the edge of it at kind of a street junction and it had a streetlight. The snow surface was completely pristine and the crust was particularly thick. Now, I was wearing old jeans, an OD field jacket with a similar color scarf around my neck and face and I think a black baseball cap that time. So, I carefully walk out on the snow and make it about halfway out there and am backlit by the streetlight. The crust gave just a little but did no leave very obvious tracks. Then a car came slowly along the street toward me and seemed like it was going to turn right, that is into the neighborhood. As it did so the headlights lit me up from my left side. They stopped dead maybe 50 feet away. My head was down as I was looking at the snow, which I still had not fallen through, and when the car hadn't moved after a couple of seconds, I turned my head toward them and raised my chin a bit. That's when they hit the gas and roared straight down the street instead of turning and were going a bit fast on the snowy streets. My guess is that they saw this guy standing in the middle of a snowy area with no tracks and glowing eyes (at least I guess they seemed to glow given how much reflection I could see on my glasses and those were about all of my face that was showing). Never heard the neighbors talk about it so it must have been one of the people who would cut through as a shortcut. And just after the car got out of sight the crust did give way, but the snow was only about 6 inches deep.
I'm really quiet due to lifelong insomnia issues. I've had years of trying to make as little noise as possible so I didn't wake my family up with my 3am kitchen raids. I scare the crap out of someone daily and I've got my sister's ex husband convinced I'm a ninja. My mom still threatens to make me wear a bell. 😂
When I was volunteering at a horse ranch during the summer, the lady who owned the place threw a party for one of the volunteers birthday. The party lasted until around 8:30 p.m. Just as everyone was packing up to leave, I heard one of the workers calling me to help return some of the horses to their stalls. The horses in question were out in a large open pasture that was further away from the rest of the farm. Just as I was starting to make my way to the pasture, I heard that same worker speak up behind me, "hey, where are you going? Some of the tables still need to be lifted into the car." I was absolutely dumbfounded. The worker couldn't have possibly been out at the pasture and then only a few seconds later come from behind without passing me. I looked at him with a blank stare then slowly nodded, still trying to prosess what just happened. When I asked him about it a day later he gave me a confused look and said "That can't be right, we always bring the horses in before sunset. You must have heard something else."
My grandma passed 2 months before my daughter was born. I was in labor and didn’t know. I walked past my Moms room (her ashes were in her room) and got a feeling like I was being watched when I entered the bathroom. I came out and saw my grandma in her doorway, hands on her hips, hair in a little pony tail, glasses pushed all the way up, and a smile on her face. I B O L T E D.. needless to say a few hours later she was born. 🥺❤️✨
I was the creepy encounter for a couple of Mormon boys. I was at my friend's house, and we were in the backyard bleeding and butchering 3 bucks. I'm 6'3", weighed around 300 pounds, and was a weight-lifter, with long hair and a big bushy beard. Think ZZ Top, crossed with Santa. My friend called it Santa the Serial Killer. Well, these 2 Mormons start ringing his bell. Since he's busy, I go around to the front of the house. These poor boys looked over to see a big guy covered in blood, holding a bloody cleaver. They took off so fast. 😂

The 'Thud' of something hitting the side of my van is something I can relate to. North Texas doesn't get hit with ice/snow very often but when it does it makes up for lost time. As I was going about picking up and dropping off family and friends who couldn't drive in that stuff, my van was hit hard several times by things being thrown at it. I slammed on my brakes and low and behold... It was some kids throwing, what I'm sure they thought, were snowballs... The Texas version is normally just a solid hunk of ice. It did scare the crap out of me when the first ones hit.
To me it sounds like he was being hit by idiot grouse/pheasants. It normally doesn't happen at night, but the amount of times by dad's car would be randomly hit by one of these stupid birds is insane (my dad lived in Scotland and there were a lot of bird shoots near by). They just kind of bounce off and keep on flying(ish) back into the fields. Though if you hit them head on you can find yourself with a nice bird for the pot!
I was delivering pizza one time and a Suburban neighborhood and passed a coyote that was probably about 4 ft tall just walking down the main road through the neighborhood. The creepiest thing to me was how it was just sauntering along, seeming totally unfazed by the fact that it was in the middle of Suburbia

I know with deer and hogs (I love hunting) you have some sort of strong sharp knife, typically a hunting knife (duh) a hacksaw for ribs and elbow grease.

moose attack more people than bears. Also depends on the species of bear, Black bears are cowards unless its a momma with cubs. Grizzlies are terrifying. Being hunted by a mountain lion is also a scary feeling

Lovely. I’m just scared of both, coming from a small village in Ontario. A bear tried to break into our house one time. And the general advice was to avoid going into the forest (or too far from the little cluster of houses near us) without a rifle/other means of defending yourself, especially in the spring. And since the thought of using a gun is terrifying to me (and i was too young to legally handle a gun at that time)- my dog didn’t get many walks in the spring (we had a large yard though). The old guys (including my dad) would all keep watch, and would let everyone know if a mother bear with cubs was spotted near by- if so, my mom wouldn’t let me out of our driveway.

We have a lot of psychics in my mother's side of the family. My great-grandfather was one. He was in the woods one day, chopping some logs, and out of nowhere he sees his brother. He goes ''hey! when did you get here, I didn't even hear or see you coming!'' His brother responds ''You need to go back to the village''. Obviously my great-grandpa had some questions, but all his brother would answer is that he needed to go to the village. So he bends down to take his axe like ''oh well, if you say so, okay'' and when he faces back up, his brother is gone.
When he got to the village, he learned that his brother had just died.

My family has stuff like that too. We always know when someone in the family/close to the family has died. We also know when to avoid something bc it would kill us. I’ve prevented a fatal car accident by giving my bf (the driver) a warning that if we do this thing we’ll die. My great grandfather died on a plane and when my great grandmother called my grandma, my grandma knew her dad was dead before my Nana said a single word. How did she know? She felt him die.
I had a similar experience, it was during my elementary days, I was sitting in class when for some reason, I saw my dad banging on the windows in my class from outside, it creeped me out because we were on the second floor, and I woke up, realizing I was asleep the whole time. I felt very strange all day, like I did something wrong or something bad happened. Me and my sister come home to find out our grandpa died. Others in the family also said they felt something strange that day, so it just overall was creepy. The worst part is he died before any of us woke up in our sleep, so we thought he was fine when we left, but he was long-gone.
My great uncle Charlie was closing up the ducks one night. On his way home he spotted his landlady and they politely greeted each other and Charlie proceeded to go home. When home, my great aunt asked what was wrong. As he apparently was a white as a ghost.
"I just saw Ms Guinness."
Ms Guinness was dead.
Fun fact: This same great uncle chopped his hand off with an old lawnmower. They sewed it back on but it never healed right.
The "Northern Lights" story: Totally could have been a Military Aircraft that happened to notice a bunch of people standing on top of the boat roof (a classic sign of distress on the waters as it gets them higher hence more visible from a distance) They would have totally spotlighted them to make sure everything was okay, and from multiple angles just to make sure. Most in distress that get spotlighted tend to wave franticly for attention, if they did not see that they would have left them alone after they confirmed. They may have even done so with Radio Silence for reasons as well.

Problem with the lights in Alaskan waters: They're in Alaska, and that phenomenon is only seen in Norway. So that means it has to be something else.

Before I became disabled I was a security guard. This story is from the time I was assigned to an abandoned hospital. Abandoned meaning no longer functioning as a working hospital. A lot of supplies and furniture and stuff was still in there, hence why they needed a guard. Once they emptied it out they were planning to turn it into a rehabilitation center. Just FYI but I was 18 years old (31 years ago), 5' 3" tall, 100 pounds, and I'm a female. Anyway... First night there and I start my rounds after getting settled in -- putting my lunch away, getting the log started for the night, etc. As I'm walking past a nurses' station and heading towards patient rooms, I think I hear running water. I figure work crews that were there earlier in the day might have forgotten to turn a faucet off or something so I start trying to source which room it's coming from. The sound gets louder as I approach a door so I peek inside with my flashlight. A lot of lights are still on in the hospital's main corridors, but the patient rooms are dark. This one is still furnished -- bed (no sheets or pillows), side table, hutch for patients to put their belongings in, etc. As soon as my flashlight illuminates the bathroom door, the sound stops. I shit you not. I was seriously startled but tried to stay level headed. Maybe there was a worker who hadn't left yet. So I call out, "Hello? I'm the security guard. Who's there?" Nothing. Zero sounds of any kind. I say a little firmer, "Hello? Pretty sure everyone is supposed to be out of the building." Still nothing. I try to reason with myself... it might have been a faulty toilet running or something. Sometimes if the leak is slow, the water will run periodically instead of constantly. So I walk away and continue my rounds. After hitting all the check points I head back to 'home base,' where I'd set myself up earlier. No sounds while approaching that same patient room but, after I had passed it by about 5 feet, the running water sounds returned. I spun around and just stared, waiting. Several minutes went by and the water sounds didn't stop. So I took a step forward. Silence. The sounds stopped dead as soon as I took the step. Well shit. Ghost or ax murderer? I slowly stepped back up to the room while saying firmly, "This is security. No one is supposed to be in the building at this time. Please show yourself so I can escort you to the exit." Nothing. So I peek in again with my flashlight. Still nothing. I locate the room's light switch and flip it. Nothing happens. Okaaaay... Weird. The electrical was still on in the entire building so, theoretically, this light should work. At this point I'm too unnerved to go into the room's bathroom so I just walk away and continue back to home base. A couple hours later and it's time for rounds again. The whole two hours had been hear-a-pin-drop silent, which gave me a false sense of security. It remained silent as I approached the room again, but as soon as I was lined up with the open door as I walked by, I heard the water sound again, only this time it was just a quick on and off. 'Leaky toilets don't behave like this,' I told myself. I stood in the doorway, flashlight pointed at the bathroom door, and said, "I'm gonna need you to come out of the bathroom now." And, you guessed it, silence. "I'll call the police if I have to!" More nothingness. I'm pretty flustered by this point so I make a mental note of the room number and double-time back to home base. I picked up the phone, ready to call the police, but I didn't want to seem stupid or like a scaredy cat to my employers so, instead, I called my dad. I told him what was up and said, "If it's a ghost, pretty sure it won't hurt me. My concern is, what if it's a vagrant or something? Not keen on being locked in a building with someone who could be violent for all I know." Dad came down to the hospital but stayed outside in his car. He could see me while at home base, and I'd wave when going out on my rounds. He knew that if I wasn't back in 35 to 45 minutes, to call the police. I waved and headed out on my next scheduled rounds, feeling a little better about my dad being my safety net. I approach the room again and again there's no sound. Okay, good. I'm lined up with the open door and still no sounds. Good. I take a few steps forward past the door and... movement caught my eye peripherally. I turned and shined my flashlight into the room. The hutch that was in the room? The door was now open. It was NOT open before. I noped the fuck out of there, headed back to home base without finishing my rounds, and stayed there the rest of the night, right where my dad could see me. I lied in the log and said I was doing rounds every couple hours, as I was supposed to. When my shift ended and my replacement arrived, I pointed out the parts in the log that mentioned the weird room and joked that there might be a ghost and just split. When the company asked if I wanted to work the hospital again, I said nope before she was even done asking. I ended up asking weeks later if any of the guards working night shift at the hospital had anything weird happen. They said no.

I had many a strange occurrence while working 3rd shift cleaning the Golden arches. This will be the one that I never figured out.
I was there alone for the long shift of cleaning. This was in the middle of my shift and I was mopping by the drive thru window. Just by happen stance, something caught my eye and I looked up to see my reflection in the glass. I stared for a second at my reflection until I noticed that my eyes in the reflection were red with a soft glow. I dismissed it knowing that the bank across the street had a red light on the side of the building that face the drive thru. I dismissed it it until I noticed that my reflection was smiling back at me.
That was the WTF and the NOPE moment that had me go and sit in the crew room til the morning manager came in.
I needed the job cause it was Hella good pay with manager benefits at the time. This was not the only occurrence while I worked there for 12 years but its the one that freaked me the hell out.
Could have been a hallucination but then again I wouldn't blame some ghosts for haunting a mc Donald's

Back in the late fall of 2001 I lived in a remote area on a small farm. I was outside late one pitch black moonless night when I heard a creepy animal sound that I had never heard before. I was expecting to be attacked by a wild animal. Eventually I figured out days later that it was just a peacock. 😂
I grew up on a farm in the middle of nowhere, my relatives where visiting and it was late and very stormy outside and we had lambs to feed. My aunt and cousin volunteered to go out and feed them and shorty after they left my younger brother decided to join them.
About 30 minutes later and they haven't returned so we sent dad out to go and check on them, after he left my brother show up at the house just laughing and said just wait for it.
Turns out he didn't join them but went into the bushes/forest area of the sheep pen and was making Cougar noises which terrified my aunt and she locked themselves inside the tiny sheep barn until my dad showed up.
My aunt thought that was the funniest thing ever and we still talk about it 15 years after it happened.
Hearing him read these stories in such a cheery voice makes these stories much less scary
I haven’t had any scary encounters at work, as I’m 15 so I can’t really work, however I have had a scary encounter whilst camping. This happened about 5 or six years ago while me and my friends family were staying at a campsite, it was fairly empty there, say 12 other tents spread far apart. Anyway, I was walking back to our tent from the toilet blocks which was about 1.5km, and you need to walk for about 200m in a wooded area, then I saw it/him/her, they were very tall, I mean VERY TALL, like 6’7 or so. I can’t remember and details about them, except they were really creepily waving at me so slowly, they had really lanky fingers, I sprinted outta there and I could hear twigs and leaves cronching behind me, getting closer. I was basically crapping myself. I managed to run to the end of the woods and as I entered the clearing which had ours and a few other tents I couldn’t hear it anymore . I turned around and shined my hella bright torch in the trees and it was not there, like it should be there because it was right behind me. I don’t believe in the paranormal so I don’t know what to think of this, the slow wave still haunts me to this day.

Scary stuff with me: When I woke up one night I had to use the bathroom and when I switched on the light it looked like a big demon head was looking at me from the wall.
When I had to walk through a forrest at night I always heard movement in the grass and leafes. when I turned around at one point I could see some animal eyes staring at me. Might just have been some deer but I was scared a little. I just hoped to not choose the wrong way through the rest of the forrest.
When I was home alone as a kid once I answered a phone call and the voice sounded like my brother so I was instantly "Come on I know it's you." even when the voice told me it's not my brother. Later when I asked my brother and parents who were with him all the time they said he hadn't called me. I guess a stranger was as confused about my reaction as I was that this wasn' my brother.
In my hometown I once saw a grave at the graveyard with my name on the tomb. I never found that grave again to show it to people.
A friend and I were backpacking / camping in deepest darkest Surrey ( about 35 miles south of London ). We were staying at a youth hostel and were making our way back to the campsite when we heard a scream. We looked at each for split second...then there's ANOTHER scream. The nearest main road to this place was a couple of miles away...through a Forrest. So...as you do...we took of running...towards where the screams had come from. We're practically sprinting over very rough ground and tree roots. We got to where the sound had come from...there's NOTHING there...or so we thought.
We both heard a twig snap and spun, my mate who was behind me called out ( paraphrased ) 'Who ever's in those effing bushes you better come out or I'M COMING IN after you'. Then...THEN...a guy stepped out. Keep in mind the location. It's PITCH BLACK...there's no moon, there are NO street lights for a few MILES. Guy steps out...he's wearing a nice sports jacket ( I used to work in menswear...so I notice these kind of details ) a waistcoat, checked shirt and woollen tie, smart shoes and a cap. He does NOT have a torch ( flashlight ). While my mate is talking to him I felt my 'spidey sense' kick in...somebody ELSE was watching us !
So I kind of slipped of to one side a bit, standing near some bushes I carefully looked around...and see a guy with a 'long gun'...I'm not sure if it's a shotgun or rifle...but it's pointing at my friend. So I silently stepped away, grabbed my mates arm and said something along the lines of 'we can go now'. My friend starts to disagree with me...so I jammed my fingers into his Ulna nerve and basically drag him away. We get about 50 feet away before he breaks my grip and starts swearing at me. I jumped forward and put my hand over his mouth to get him to shut the eff up!
NOW he gets that's something's up...I told him what I'd seen, then we leg it back to the youth hostel and tell the warden. He phones the Police...AND the local gamekeeper...who just 'happens' to be ex - SAS.
An hour or so later we hear 'BOOM...BOOM'.
THAT was the gamekeeper...who had just shot 2 poachers in the arse...with rock-salt :-)
My dad does maintenance for Mickey D's. Sometimes that takes him out to really small towns that only have one stop light, and that were out in the boonies. There was this one town he had to go to that was just so small, and they just had built this Mickey D's ( back in 2005 was when this took place). It was his last stop, but his shop in "Big city" was about five hours away and another drive back home depending on traffic. Anyway after finishing what he did at this new Mickey D's staffed fully by teens, the oldest being like 20 or 21, he left and said to call him or his boss if they had questions. By the time time he was done it was super dark outside, and or felt even darker since it was mid winter. He got into his work van and about it goes dead. He couldn't get it started, he tried calling his boss, co workers, and my mom to see if someone could pick him up ( my sister was 17 at the time) but couldn't get anyone on his phone realized he didn't have a signal. After what felt like an eternity he finally got his car started, and called my mom he was going to be late. He didn't tell his boss when he got back to the shop. But he did take his van to the mechanic and there was nothing to wrong with the van. He went back to the town one more time, but never went back there since they soon closed that Micky D's in 2007. My dad is normally not a man to get scared but he was so shook up about it that day.

I had two encounters that still haunt me, in 2006 I was selling books on the shopping street, Meir - Antwerpen. It was my first try, I had to sell 5 books, so far I sold 3 - I walk to a man, ask if he's interested in one of our books (btw, nothing Christian or religious, just books - if you donated, you got the book for free (weird system) the man gave me this smile and I froze as he took my hand, he said: "Let me tell you something..." - he got everything right, all the negative stuff into details that happened to me, like: you worked in a buthery where they bullied you badly and lost your precious dream, she's watching over you, you will reuntie when the time comes." I had tears rolling over my eyes - because he mentioned my misscarriege and he smiled and said: "Good luck, don't give up!" I stood there and the one in charge looked at me, heard everything, saw how freaked out I was. It then hit me, I had questions, just a few, I ran after him but he just, vanished, in the middle of the shopping street, there weren't that many people on the Meir...
The other incident happened few years ago, I don't take drugs just in case, I just bhought the newest comic by my favorite artists (Skydoll) and I was reading and waiting for the subway. It was fairly quiet - I suddenly look up, I saw a lady run to get her subway and a white human shape behind her. It was light a human shape. I looked around if someone else saw it, no, just me... I thought Iimagined it but it turned it's head at me and I heard (swear it on my life)" she's dying tonight, I'm here to take her to Heaven." The lights flickered and the subway closed and left. I just sat there like: ... Did I imagine this, I ... *looks at comic* no, I'm clearly awake...
And sadly, two weeks ago, Ihad my first sleep paralyzes. I couldn't move, I was awake and I tried to yell 'mom help' but nothing happened, then I saw a vaguelly red thing above me, it slowly turned it's head with a huge grin, I never saw something so creepy and I couldn't scream at all! All I know is, I thought: "If you dare touching me, I will* it touched my belly and I had shivers that just ... I never felt that.
I contacted my doctor who thinks I'm just f'ing stressed out with my work and wrote a medicine I don't want to take, I haven't had another episode so far - just only have constantly headaches.
I have another one with a witness, in 2008 - my friend LOVES to walk outside in the dark when the moon is bright, I was staying over at her place in North of Holland, so many stars, where I live, I'm lucky to see one... but there, so many stars. We were both talking about life when a star moved, we thought it was an aircraft or a satelite, the star came closer, becoming bigger and bigger and bigger and a sudden U turn and vanished into space. She pinshed me and I pinshed her. We were freaking out for weeks - sometimes we mention that again, just to go: "We're not crazy, right?" - "YOU SAW IT TOO!!!!"
I remember few weeks later, my brother was staring at the sky, his head behind the curtain. I looked at him and asked: "What's wrong, is someone bothering you?" - I turn to take something from the fridge, he said: "It's the stars!" I turn to him: "What?" - he: "They are moving!!!!" - Me: Probably satelites (totally not mentioning what my friend and I saw) He: Oh yeah? *pulls me to the window* LOOKATITLOOKATIT! - I just said: "Yeah, I see it..." to calm him down, strange coincedence - The U turn was weird, no flickering lights, just a star, white going huge and U turn and vanish - my friend mentioned later, it went through the gates of Orion (she knows the starlining beter than I do).
If anyone has read this 'till here, I didn't write one lie in this post and I swear on my life, this is what I saw - tbh, I don't want to know about ghosts, spirits etc - I still blame myself for joining a night with an Oujia board when I was 12 - I knew it was fake - but I am going to stay away from those things and what I badly wanted to ask the man who read my hand, "Is there an afterlife without pain!?" - Well, this is my freaky post. I have a creepy Story for u guys.
First of I'm from Austria so English isn't my first language so sorry for my spelling in advance.
This story happened 5 years ago so 1 was 11 and my little sister was seven. We used to love playing together in the woods on the left side of our house our house is surrounded by woods and we own most of it but the woods on the left side are different. We don't really know who they belong to but we now that the owner does not care about them at all. He never cuts out wood with leads to very thick dark forest where little light touches the ground and many trees ar fallen over or just grow in a wild way there's also a little river and basically the only way to cross it is over fallen over trees I actually fell in once but that's another story. Like I said my sister and I loved to play there especially hide and seak or catch me on that oerticiular day we hand once again wondered far in to the forest we where at least 2 miles from any houses or villages. Whe where playing catch when we spotted the lonely nerow road that went through the middle of the woods. That meant that we probably should go home because I knew do to the forest growing so wild it would probably take us about an hour to get hone. So I stopped and my sister caught me. That's when a black van drove up and stopped about 20 meters from us Two men came out of it. They looked quite friendly I remember that one was wearing a green shirt and I still remember both of their faces. The younger on began walking towards us and talking about how he was lost and if we could help him. He was about 10 meters from us by now and I wanted to run towards him to help him becouse well first I always had far to much trust in to strangers and second he seamed friendly. That's when my sister grabbed my arm and and started running I was totally confused but when I looked back I saw that one of the men was running after us that's whe it clicked. We ran ran for our lives and if we would have run along the street we surly would have been screwed. The man was much faster and it's important to know that at this point we where so far out that nobody would have heard our screams even if we screamed our lungs out. But we ran into the forest and we knew this forest we jumped over fallen over trees ran through dorny bushes and so on. After a few minutes he must have lost us or give up but we did not see him any more. Still we ceapt running we fell multiple times scratched our faces and my sister even fell on a rock and hurt her knee but we ceapt going we ran the whole distance home at least I did. Because of her nee I gave my sister a piggyback because of her knee for the last part thankfully she was extremely slim and didn't, weigh much when we where home we tumbled in to the grase we where save it took us a few minutes to catch our breath when went inside my mom freaked out and started bandaging my sisters knee. She was pretty mad and scolded us. She had the radio on and I that exactl moment the radio guy was talking about thwo white men in a black ven who where kidnapping children and how parents should not let their kids out alone. The description matched perfectly.
Later I asked my sister how she knew those guys where dangerous and she said she saw a gun on the car dashboard.
I will never stop being thankful to my sister because that day she saved my life.
Just one of the many instances that proves just how protective of you, a sibling can be. Regardless of whether they are older than you, or younger than you. Sure, siblings don't always get along, but that *doesn't* mean that they can't/won't ever get protective of you. It's definitely one of the major reasons I'm thankful for my younger brother (he and I are two years apart).
something similar happen to be wheni ws a kid, i was net to a parc in Montréal playing in the bush(not the naughty type of bush you dirty minded pepol) whit my younger uncle and 1 cousin that is 1 years younguer then me, and a woman park her car near us and had a eagle on her arms and asked us if we could take care of her bird because he need water and she have to go find some, me i always liked animals and liked to help pepol so i was going to do it but my uncle and cousin stoped me before i got even closer and we run away,i only understood later that day what could had happen. Also that woman did not look weird or dangerous, she was quite a beautifull pedophile or kidnaping woman.

I was facing my door when I saw a shadow walk down the hall. It scard the shit out of me. I calmed down seeing it was my dad and somehow went back to sleep. When I woke up I was in a panic again just now remembering my dad had died suddenly days ago. No idea if I was going crazy from lack of sleep or what.

The story with the newspaper kid reminded me of when I was in my neighborhood selling girl scout cookies with my mom and there was a man with a black leather jacket, tattoos, and sunglasses by our neighbors door. I asked him if he wanted Girl Scout cookies but he said no and quickly left. We later came back to that house and our neighbor asked if we saw the man and apparently he was actually trying to break in
I had a similar experience to the first one:
One place I lived-VERY haunted and creepy on some streets-had a school or church-type gathering place(it’s been a while so I can’t really remember) but it was to celebrate events and almost every night between 1-2am really weird ethereal flute music would play(and not like sounding it was stemming from one source, just like it was floating everywhere); I went to the place to figure out who would be doing that at all hours, but turned out the music had no source that I could figure out.

One time at Girl Scout camp (in Ohio) our lazy scout leader sent me and 2 other girls to the latrine by ourselves in the middle of the night (we all were under the age of 10). The Latrine was down a long path that went further into the forest. We get 20-30 feet away from the latrines and both doors slowing swung open at the same time and the doors just stayed open (the doors are weighted so animals /wind couldn’t open them up. The only way they stay open is if someone is standing there holding them. We could clearly see there was no one holding them open) we literally all just stood there in shock with our mouths hanging open. Then suddenly both doors slammed closed HARD. I remember trying to scream but no sound came out I was so scared. We all took off running back to our cabin. One girl even peed her pants. Of course of Girl Scout leader didnt to believe us....... I ended up getting sent back to the latrine by myself later because I still had to go.... I'm not kidding but my friend Sean own a summer home in the states (were Austrailiaian but we live in the states now) and when i say home I mean mansion in the hecking woods 32.187 klios out into the woods ( 20 miles I think) and there are three paths, the middle leads to the mansion, the left leads to some old mining caves that we've explored, and the right leads to an electric fence that we don't know what's behind it. Let me tell you something about Sean he has a condition where he can't feel pain, I'm not making that up. So we explore the right path and he does the stupidist shit ever and touches it and pretends to be electricfied, and then I relize how would he know pretty sure He wouldn'tt be able to feel that.

Getting shocked and reacting isn't because of pain. You get shocked and your body reacts to it because electricity is literally flowing through you.
@@demoninpink7848 More specifically, electricity causes your muscles to involuntarily contract which is why if you grab on to something roughly hand sized such as an electrified metal pipe you literally cannot let go of it, so just because he doesn't feel the pain doesn't make it any less dangerous.
Kind of reminds me of the time I saw 5 guys ahead of me on a trail / cross country path. They had all stopped and were looking around. Then one of them stepped up to a fence and unzipped his flies for a piddle, the other guys joined him. What none of them had spotted was the electric cattle wire...and they pee'd right onto it...and I nearly wet myself laughing.

Back in the early 80's I worked for a company that sold/serviced carpet cleaning equipment, i was in my early 20's. I was getting ready to sign out and leave on this one Friday and the Service Manager came up and handed me a service ticket and asked if I could take care of this service call, being it was on my way home , I said sure. I had never been to this place or even heard of it, but being in rural southwestern Virginia it wasn't hard to find. When I got to the community a weird feeling came over me, even though it was still light out there wasn't a soul to be seen, not even a dog or cat, nothing. I finally found the house and I kid you not, it resembled the one on the Munsters TV series, I kind of laughed to myself and said you've got to be kidding. Anyway I went up to the porch and knocked, no one answered the door. I knocked a few more times and then proceeded to walk around the house to the back door. No answer there either. So I decided to leave. When I came back around the front, there on the porch sat the machine with an extension cord sticking out from the door. I nervously looked around and then went to work fixing the machine, ( it turned out to be a bad bearing and broken belt.) I tested the unit and it worked perfect, knocked on the door and sad the unit is fixed. No answer, so I repeated myself, still no answer, then I heard a noise coming from the rear of the house and I walked around back to tell them I was done, there was no one there. I turned around and went back down the driveway to the front, telling myself I was done with this crap. When I got to the front edge of the porch I looked up and the machine and extension cord were no longer there. I picked up my service bag and literally ran to my vehicle. I'll bet those people have never seen anybody drive that fast through there community.

3:05 as someone who enjoys hunting in wilderness like this, I believe being stared down by a rogue moose with possibly malicious intent is WAY scarier than anything a bear could do. I always keep in the back of my mind that moose are nature's death machines.
Ok so this happened to my dad when he was like 5 or 6.
My dad left his room to get some water, there was a well dressed old man sitting in the rocking chair in the living room. The old man smiled at my dad and held his hand out, my dad freaked out and ran to his parents, when they got there the man was gone. My dad's parents asked him what happened and when my dad explained his mom started crying.
Turns out that was my dad's grandfather who died before he was born.

Ok, so, creepiest encounter I've ever had?
Way back in 2014, a couple friends and I went on a midnight hike. As we were walking along the trail we started hearing this quiet music, like from a music box, coming from off in the distance. We round a corner and come upon what looked like an old farm house just... out in the middle of nowhere in this canyon, where the music was coming from and with a single blue light shining through the window.
We just stood there staring at the house for what must've been ages, it looked so out of place, like one of the bayou houses (kinda run down, over grown with shrubs) from Pirates of the Carribian ride, but in the middle of a canyon in California.
Now, one of my friends just started walking towards this creepy-ass-middle-of-nowhere-hut. We grabbed her to pull her back and ask what the hell she thought she was doing?
She said; "I don't know I just... want to go in and look."
We said; "No, at best this is tresspassing, at worst this is the start of a horror film, we are leaving. Now."
We turned, left, and made the 30 minute treck back to my truck, but the entire trip back we could still hear the music box right up until we hopped in the truck and left.

The delivery story reminded me of when I worked as a package delivery assistant. I won't give out which company, but it's a major one in the US. My job was to ride with the driver and be the actual guy who walks out and puts packages next to doors and deliver packages into businesses. The driver liked to mess with me, letting me deal with the uncomfortable deliveries all by myself, including a delivery to an adult store. As uncomfortable as I was, this was something I thought I would just have to deal with. Until one point where we drove up to a walled, unmarked brick building. The driver had this absolutely huge smile, telling me this would be another one of those "uncomfortable" deliveries, and told me to go past the gate and deliver a package into the business. The lack of markings was weird but people were around so it didn't seem all that creepy. As I walked past the gate it definitely took a very strange turn - everybody was staring at me. These weren't blank stares either, they were all a mix of sheer terror or unbridled rage. I then noticed all of them were female. I kept growing uncomfortable until an officer lady walked up to me in a rush and sternly asked what I thought I was doing there. I told her I had a delivery for this place and asked what I did to get such looks from everyone. She explained where I was exactly: I WAS AT A BATTERED WOMEN'S SHELTER! She left it to the bare bones explanation while giving me a clear "do you understand?" look. The package was indeed for the place but apparently there is an entire process to get the packages there that I shouldn't have been involved with at all. She took me back to the delivery truck, made a note of the now-silent driver, the license plate, and told us to leave. The next day, after I could properly process the situation, I went back to the office and immediately spoke with my boss about it. After explaining what happen, my boss told me "If we were going to send you to a place occupied with drugs and gangs, do you really think we would tell you about it?" I was so baffled at his question it took me a bit to finally stutter out "uh... YES! F- that, I quit!" and bolted. It was total silence after that. No phone calls, messages, or anything except my final paycheck. I still wonder what that was all about, but probably best I don't know.
Actually the blades you use to skin a cow, are small and really sharp... you often have to keep sharpening them while you are skinning. Best part, is using a reciprocating saw to cut it up. After it hangs, you use basically a huge band saw.
Good thing I'm listening during the day as I do school because I think I would have had a small panic attack. Very spooky. 10/10. Your videos are always great btw

I had just got my security camera from my brother a week prior and didn't have an SD card yet. For some reason at 8:30ish I got the urge to check the live feed and noticed a weird light that looked like a bug but it didn't move like the other bugs, above our shed as tall as the roof of the second story which is easily 25 feet in the air and at least 12 feet higher than the first story roof. As I've lived here for 27 years, I know it's not possible to be human or animal; it was just floating in the air. I watched for 3 and a half minutes before getting up and turning on the outside light to try and get a better view. I couldn't see it through my window, only through the infrared camera and literally as soon as I turned the light on, it looked like a lighter being lit and floated away in a straight line. I ended up screen recording it for proof and you can clearly hear my shock when I say what is that?
My parents, fiance and brother who all know this area as well as I do know it's not natural and we've never seen anything like it before or sense.
I now have an SD card but of course haven't caught anything like it since.
I work graveyard (midnight to 8) at a women's rehab 30 miles outside of our little nowhere mountain town of less than 6,000 so suffice to say we're very remote. A woman showed up at 2am and knocked on the door, no car, no bike, the cameras didn't show any vehicle anywhere near the perimeter- it actually didn't show her coming onto the property at all. I ask if I can help her she said "I came to visit". Obviously I told her "Well, there's no visits and unless you're a scheduled intake I'm going to have to ask you to leave." She then turns and walks away into the field. I tried for what had to be an hour going over the security footage, none of our motion sensors picked her up, no camera even the ones pointed at the field had her only at the front door with me when I answered it. I have no idea how to explain it, some cameras overlap, she absolutely should have shown up when she walked away. I don't know what the hell I opened the door to but I'm glad I didn't invite it in
That pizza delivery one reminded me of a story my dad told me, I don’t remember what he said exactly but basically he was working as a pizza delivery worker and after getting out of his car, someone came out and held him at gun point, he reflexively nocked the gun out of his hands and, ran into the nearby woods and called the police, I don’t remember if they caught the guy or not.

My cousin had an encounter that really freaked her out once. She was home alone at night and was waiting for the rest of the family to return from a trip. She’s sitting in kitchen on her phone when she hears a car pull up in the driveway. She looks at the time and it’s hours before when the fan should be arriving so she discreetly checks the car. Nope, it’s not the family’s car, it’s someone else. As she backs away from the window, she sees two men get out of the car and head for the side door to the house. They start knocking. My cousin started panicking and decided her best option was to hide. As quietly as she could, she grabbed a weapon from the kitchen’s utensil drawer (without looking) and locked herself in the bathroom and jumped into the shower for cover. That’s when she looked to see what she grabbed and realized she didn’t grab a knife, but had a blunt pie cutter to defend herself. Meanwhile the two men are still periodically knocking on the door. After about ten minutes, they left and she was able to calm down and leave the bathroom. She later found out who was at the door.
It was me and my brother delivering a pie. Our uncle forgot to call her and let her know we’d be stopping by.

Used to work Security at a solar field that was being built, about 20 miles outside of town, the closest thing out there was a truck stop 2 miles away, off the interstate. Late at night we would hear drums beating off the mountains, see shadow figures around corners, and one time I was almost pulled off the cart used to make rounds, it was creepy and always felt like you were being watched...

Really short story but...
One time what about 7:30 p.m. I was just chilling on my bed laying down being tired, (for context my bed has a wall on the left side but when you're laying in it it looks like the right), I was facing towards the wall, probably going to take a nap or something, and then I heard this semi loud, unhumanly gag under the bed, and then I just noped out of there and chilled on the couch with my brother... Call me stupid but I did check under there... There was nothing. Not my dog, not my siblings trying to scare me, nothing... Nobody else heard it either.
I like these kinds of videos because it’s a lot of little stories instead of 2 or 3 long stories. :)

I'm probably the creepy guy in a number of peoples' stories. When I was younger, I could sneak up on people without really trying and it often happened completely unintentionally. I'd walk up to a neighbor and they wouldn't notice until I was right beside them and a couple of times I could walk down the block to a group of them and actually join the circle and still it might be a few seconds before anyone realized I was there and everyone was startled. I could even stalk cats and dogs without too much trouble. After doing this a couple of times to a neighbor's cat, including twice kneeling just beyond the sweep of its tail for a minute or two before it noticed me, the poor thing was so paranoid it would either run past my house or stay on the other side of the street.
The best one though was follow a rare for the area heavy snow. As often happened the snow ended with some sleet and freezing rain so their was a crust over top of the snow. It was maybe 11 PM and I was bored so I went out for a walk. There were a lot of trees in the neighborhood but there was also an open area just at the edge of it at kind of a street junction and it had a streetlight. The snow surface was completely pristine and the crust was particularly thick. Now, I was wearing old jeans, an OD field jacket with a similar color scarf around my neck and face and I think a black baseball cap that time. So, I carefully walk out on the snow and make it about halfway out there and am backlit by the streetlight. The crust gave just a little but did no leave very obvious tracks.
Then a car came slowly along the street toward me and seemed like it was going to turn right, that is into the neighborhood. As it did so the headlights lit me up from my left side. They stopped dead maybe 50 feet away. My head was down as I was looking at the snow, which I still had not fallen through, and when the car hadn't moved after a couple of seconds, I turned my head toward them and raised my chin a bit. That's when they hit the gas and roared straight down the street instead of turning and were going a bit fast on the snowy streets. My guess is that they saw this guy standing in the middle of a snowy area with no tracks and glowing eyes (at least I guess they seemed to glow given how much reflection I could see on my glasses and those were about all of my face that was showing). Never heard the neighbors talk about it so it must have been one of the people who would cut through as a shortcut. And just after the car got out of sight the crust did give way, but the snow was only about 6 inches deep.

I'm really quiet due to lifelong insomnia issues. I've had years of trying to make as little noise as possible so I didn't wake my family up with my 3am kitchen raids. I scare the crap out of someone daily and I've got my sister's ex husband convinced I'm a ninja. My mom still threatens to make me wear a bell. 😂

When I was volunteering at a horse ranch during the summer, the lady who owned the place threw a party for one of the volunteers birthday. The party lasted until around 8:30 p.m. Just as everyone was packing up to leave, I heard one of the workers calling me to help return some of the horses to their stalls. The horses in question were out in a large open pasture that was further away from the rest of the farm. Just as I was starting to make my way to the pasture, I heard that same worker speak up behind me, "hey, where are you going? Some of the tables still need to be lifted into the car." I was absolutely dumbfounded. The worker couldn't have possibly been out at the pasture and then only a few seconds later come from behind without passing me. I looked at him with a blank stare then slowly nodded, still trying to prosess what just happened. When I asked him about it a day later he gave me a confused look and said "That can't be right, we always bring the horses in before sunset. You must have heard something else."

My grandma passed 2 months before my daughter was born. I was in labor and didn’t know. I walked past my Moms room (her ashes were in her room) and got a feeling like I was being watched when I entered the bathroom. I came out and saw my grandma in her doorway, hands on her hips, hair in a little pony tail, glasses pushed all the way up, and a smile on her face. I B O L T E D.. needless to say a few hours later she was born. 🥺❤️✨

I was the creepy encounter for a couple of Mormon boys. I was at my friend's house, and we were in the backyard bleeding and butchering 3 bucks. I'm 6'3", weighed around 300 pounds, and was a weight-lifter, with long hair and a big bushy beard. Think ZZ Top, crossed with Santa. My friend called it Santa the Serial Killer. Well, these 2 Mormons start ringing his bell. Since he's busy, I go around to the front of the house. These poor boys looked over to see a big guy covered in blood, holding a bloody cleaver. They took off so fast. 😂

The 'Thud' of something hitting the side of my van is something I can relate to. North Texas doesn't get hit with ice/snow very often but when it does it makes up for lost time. As I was going about picking up and dropping off family and friends who couldn't drive in that stuff, my van was hit hard several times by things being thrown at it. I slammed on my brakes and low and behold... It was some kids throwing, what I'm sure they thought, were snowballs... The Texas version is normally just a solid hunk of ice. It did scare the crap out of me when the first ones hit.
To me it sounds like he was being hit by idiot grouse/pheasants. It normally doesn't happen at night, but the amount of times by dad's car would be randomly hit by one of these stupid birds is insane (my dad lived in Scotland and there were a lot of bird shoots near by). They just kind of bounce off and keep on flying(ish) back into the fields. Though if you hit them head on you can find yourself with a nice bird for the pot!
I was delivering pizza one time and a Suburban neighborhood and passed a coyote that was probably about 4 ft tall just walking down the main road through the neighborhood. The creepiest thing to me was how it was just sauntering along, seeming totally unfazed by the fact that it was in the middle of Suburbia
