Here's an alternative to Zevia and what I do. I get Bubly, or LaCroix, Polar, or my favorite - Waterloo flavored seltzer. Then I add SweetLeaf Sweet Drops (stevia) to the cans to make them as sweet as I like. The Waterloo Grape with stevia drops is awesome and my fave along with Black Cherry Polar. These drinks are significantly cheaper than Zevia. Give it a try. 🙂
Steve, I've been watching you for almost a year now. I have, as of today lost 71 Lbs since 9 March this year. Its because of you and Indigo Nili's advice, inspiration and recipes. Still hoping to lose another 20-30 before I reach maintenance mode. This is NOT a diet. It is definitely a lifestyle change. I'm 63 and this will be my journey for whatever God has left for me. Thank you VERY MUCH for all of your help so far. I am with you for the long haul. 😊
That is fantastic! The great things are: 1) you know how to do it and have a line of sight to your goal, and 2) you recognize it as a lifestyle. Great work! 👍
Great episode! I have been wanting to thank you for encouraging us in January 2022 to go alcohol free for the month! I’m still going strong and feel it was one of the best decisions I’ve made! You never know the impact you have but you are helping many! 🙏🏽💗
Well spoken Steve and we know you wouldn't be doing this channel if you did not truly CARE about helping individuals with their nutritional, medical and wellness goals! Keep it up! I was an obese child and most of my family is still obese. I 100% agree that accepting obese as a healthy state is not alleviating nor helping people get control of their lives.
Steve, thank you so much. I am a 57 yo widow that has been in a funk since the death of my husband, and then COVID. You have given me joy, and the push to be healthy and live once again. Bless you
So sorry for your loss, pat yourself on the back for making it through both the loss and getting through it under lockdown! stay strong, I'm loving this keto diet, never felt better.
Great video Steve! I can't believe how some people jumped to their conclusion over your observation of people's health. I'm 68, in gym class in the 60s-70s there was the Presidential Fitness Award that JFK started. I don't think they even have PE in most schools anymore. We need to promote health and wellness. I think a little tough love is needed now and then.
Thank you for your analysis. I have thoughts about The WHO... primarily, their agenda. Their opinions carry NO weight in our household. I do appreciate that you take the time shine light on the lack of logic they use to sell these ideas to those who still believe that The WHO's agenda is actually health related.
As a native California I Have empathy for your air quality situation we've had that problem here every summer for more than a decade it's tragic. 8 years ago I bought Portable air filter Or inside my home. Even though you keep the windows shut which I would advise it still manages to creep in a little bit. You get headaches and my pets especially had a lot of issues. That air filter is a godsend.. I would suggest getting one to anyone who's having problems
I have been watching you for quite a while and I have never heard you shame people or bully in any way. I feel like you genuinely care about your audience. Thank you and please don’t lose heart!
I do hear quite a bit of Casey Cason in your voice. ❤ That is probably why we enjoy your podcast so much. 😂 Thank you for the truthful information you give us.
This is a compliment so take it that way, but if I have trouble sleeping I will listen to one your videos! Your voice is so soothing and puts me right back to sleep!!! Thank you!!!
I am currently in Vermont (where we spend Hurricane Season) and today is the first day we've had an "air alert." The temperature is delightful, and there's a nice breeze, so maybe that's why I'm not feeling any respiratory effects. I am glad I wasn't flying this morning (out of the tiny W. Lebanon, NH Municipal Airport) because it would definitely have been weather cancelled. Aspertame has long been associated with mimicking the signs and symptoms of multiple sclerosis, but I've not heard/read that it was a carcinogen. The bottom line is that "life" is gonna kill you. Enjoy the ride. Night shift... pretty much every "night nurse" I've known has had some serious health issues. Humans are designed to sleep at night. Raccoons stay awake all night. I'm not familiar with cancer rates in raccoons. Re hateful comments; Chris Cooking Nashville recently addressed the same thing. Haters feel superior by posting hate. They just need to look in the mirror, and go do something nice for a stranger. That would change their perspectives completely. A little bit of kindness really goes a long way. Thanks for everything that you do.
Agreed. If those people invested that same amount of energy into doing something positive as they do wordsmithing their angry manifesto, imagine the good they could accomplish. 🙂
Thank you, Steve. You are appreciated for helping those of us who need to face reality. Being a weight that is unhealthy for the body and the mind can cause soooo many other health issues. (And I know from experience.) I’ve been addicted to (unhealthy) food for most of my life and, until recently, I wasn’t willing to give it up. You are one of a small handful of people who have helped me see I need to change my way of eating and thinking. Since January, I have lost about 25 pounds, I’ve come off of two of my three pills for diabetes, off of my cholesterol pill (recently), and have dropped the amount of insulin I’ve been taking. Oh, and I’m off my diuretic. So, the process is very slow (which is intended) to give my body and my mind a chance to get use to the changes. I’m see changes that I like and I want to keep going. Thank you 🙏 for sharing your journey.
I had a hard time acknowledging that I had crossed over the line to obesity because I have always worked out regularly and I thought I was eating a healthy diet. I now realize that we have normalized being overweight and obese as we have accepted the SAD as the right way to eat.
Such a great video. You handle the negativity so well. I hate that people throw things out of proportion. I agree with you, they just need to move on. Keep doing what you do!!
When I started watching you about 4 years ago, I remember writing a comment that you remind me of a young Regis Philbin -- not only in looks but in speaking timbre and style.
I’m in Kentucky. We still have Zevia a plenty from what I can tell at my Sam’s and Costco. Kroger has them too, but they are more expensive there. I love Zevia, so I hope we can continue to get them here!
Fantastic job on this one!!! Everyone should have a takeaway from you about fat shaming. You didn’t do it last week and you did a great job addressing that in this podcast. Thanks for sharing your story, thoughts and encouragement!
I've moved beyond the keto diet (I don't eat any plants), but I still love Steve. I'm not swayed by "studies" anymore. There are no long-term clinical studies regarding any diet. They're all epidemiological and inherently flawed. I like hearing antidotal experiences. But, I can only really know what is right for me by experimenting on myself. N = 1.
South Jersey here, and it was just horrible earlier in June. Light orange sky, and I had terrible headaches. Got another blast late June, but not as bad at all. So sorry you’re all suffering!
Hey, I'm here in Cumming, GA. At Sprouts a couple of weeks ago, they had the whole front entrance filled with Zevia...all flavors; and on sale. I picked up a few 6 packs. Haven't checked Costco yet. Thank you for all you do; I have learned much.
I feel for you with the smoke. When California burns we here in BC usually get their smoke. When this happens I always feel sorry for the people dealing with the fires and the loss of life and homes. At least all I have to put up with is the smoke...a small burden to tolerate! Thanks again for another great show...I'm off to get a cup of carcinogen hahaha!
I agree that encouragement of a healthier lifestyle is always a good action. I will say I empathize with your air quality issues....a few years ago my neighboring area in the Smoky Mountains was burning and we had horrible air for months. I hope that situation gets under control soon for all involved, in Canada and the US and I hope they are all safe from the fire. Good chat Steve.
Steve - I really appreciate that you are trying to clarify your previous remarks about fat people. I've been trying to come up with a response to the those remarks, which have bothered me since I watched the episode. As someone who has been considered FAT since junior high, I am personally thrilled that we are "normalizing" fat people, whether they are in the process of losing weight or not. We ARE "normal". We just weigh more that non-fat people The only way to remove the stigma of being fat and the subsequent poor treatment fat people receive is for us to be considered "Normal" by the mainstream. I've been working at weight loss via Keto for a long time, and while I have lost 50 pounds I am still considered to be very fat. There is no way for anyone to just look at a fat person and see if they are working on their health or not, so why make that a criteria? Why not treat everyone as a version of "Normal" and say NO to people feeling superior in some way because they are considered to be a healthy weight? I truly don't mean to be rude. I have subscribed to your channel and been a member for a long time and will continue both. I was just hurt by some of your comments in that episode and thought it was important to share that. I usually just shut up and stew, so speaking up is a big thing for me. By the way, the Belushi Samurai poster you showed was surely at his lowest weight ever. A look at "Animal House" shows him as much heavier. Thanks, Steve
Also, I can't find Belushi's weight at the time of Animal House, but at his death, he weighed 222 lbs at 5'8". I'm 5'9" and weighed at least 10 lbs more than that 5 years ago. I'm not trying to make a point. Just sharing some data.
I used to suffer from pretty bad seasonal allergies, but over time, it hit me less and less, and, for the last 15 years, I was pretty much symptom free. Until the Canadian wildfire smoke. That rocked my world.
Steve....your summation about the handful of negative comments made me cry. But cry in a good way. Your level-headed approach and charity in the face of vitriol gives me hope. We need hope. Hope counters the mean-spirited noise in the anonymous world of social media comments. I could never imagine you fat shaming anyone, much less demanding others eat a certain way. You are centered. But there some whose only anchor to hold onto is to anger, which I believe is rooted in fear. I hope for their sake, and for others like them that they find their way to hope. You lead by example. Maybe they'll move to a kinder, gentler way of being. Namaste
I am your northern neighbor 😆 I live near Eau Claire, we do not have a Zevia shortage here...maybe hasn't reached us yet? This smokey air has been hanging in this area for weeks, my throat hurts, and my eyes burn. I'll be so happy when it moves out! Anyone who says anything about you being mean in any way, simply has not watched enough of your videos!! You are so helpful, caring, and genuine! Thank you for these videos Steve!
First time I saw your video for some reason you reminded me of J. Peterman from Seinfeld. I had to look up the actor and it’s John O’Hurley. Love you and your videos are wonderful! From across the state in Hudson, WI.
I just wanted to say, on most channels I subscribe to, the broadcasters get older, you look so much younger today than you did 2 years back! great living advert for Keto lifestyle! cheers for sharing your experiences and really useful reviews.
Hi Steve I recently came across your channel and podcast You are great and the WHO is nuts Dont let these (the uneducated in real life) bother you You are a great inspiration and I really enjoy everything you put out Its another perspective of Keto to strengthen my Journey Thank you ! Julianna Raleigh NC
Thank you Steve! I love your voice…I often thought if I heard you somewhere I would for sure know it’s you! 😂 In my opinion, the good part about the body positivity stuff, is that it’s important for a person’s mental health to accept who they are! I would have had a much happier life if I got that. But there is a difference between acceptance and celebration! Now we are supposed to celebrate obesity. There is no way that a person can be completely healthy and obese! We all need to strive for long term health, and maybe not worry so much about the size of our jeans 😊❤
I love Zevia. The cola is great for when I’m missing a regular cola. The ginger ale is also great. I buy mine at Whole Foods when it goes on sale because I don’t like mixed variety cases. I haven’t noticed it being out of stock lately.
Hi Steve. I live in the Palm Desert California area. I buy our Zevia at Albertsons grocery store. I always find it stocked up on the shelf. We are now getting them in the 12 pack instead of original 10 pack. It runs $10.99 for the 12 pack.
Yes - appreciate the logic and common sense approach you provide! After the misinformation and fear mongering three years ago, it’s a hard pass for me on anything the WHO puts out there. Keep up the great work! Happy Fourth…🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I think the WHO is still worth following as they have excellent scientists that work from a variety of countries ~ but with their recommendations there is certainly no harm in doing supplemental research for your own piece of mind and health decisions.
Another great video. There are too many headline readers these days. They don’t actually read the details and the devil is in the details!! So sad that people are attacking you. Obviously they have major issues going on in their lives. We need to pray for them because that’s all we can do. Thanks, Steve. Keep doing you and doing because you’re doing a great job.
I just listened to the end of this video....omg, those comments. WOW. You are so right, such angry, miserable people. I honestly cannot imagine going through life with all of the negative baggage that they carry. I also agree that it would be nice if they would just "move along"....the problem is that they won't. The only lucky thing is that their numbers are small. In "online" life you content creators are forced to deal with these plebs...just know that the rest of us appreciate so much everything you do. You make a difference in peoples lives and that is no small accomplishment.
Hot beverage explanation: repeated skin burn/ injury means increased rate of repair means increased chance of mutation. The cancer involved is throat. It's actually real. I do get your point. But that particular one I studied because my friends drink coffee I can't even touch! Lol. Yes, details details. Have a great week!
Yes, the things on the list DO have a rational explanation, carpentry- it's known that working with certain woods, MDF? and oak I think? can increase your risk of cancer from inhalation of particles. Hairdressing- I would think that is from repeated exposure to certain chemicals. As for nightshifts, as a midwife, we were always discussing research that linked nightshift to illnesses such as cancer due to the disruption in sleep patterns. If you consider them all individually, I'm sure it's based on research.
Steve, I hear you about the smoke. Out here in the West-Oregon, we have had our share of smoke from fires, hopefully you are not having to deal with the ash from the fires. I guess who cares what the World Health Organization has to say about sweeteners. Fred Meyer/Kroger has had a supply issue with Zevia. I have also noticed that the cost of zevia has gone up about $2 per six pack. Steve have a great holiday weekend. Thank you,
I love Zevia. I’ve been getting it at Sam’s Club here in South Carolina. I agree with your position on obesity. The bottom line is that it isn’t healthy. I used to be obese. My daughter used to tell me that she wanted me to be around to watch her kids grow up and dance at their weddings. Keto has helped me get healthy and lose weight. My goal was to get healthy and the weight coming off was a bonus. I think you are very informative and real and I enjoy and look forward to your videos.
I'm a Zevia fan. Louisiana at Brookshire's, Super1, and Kroger's. I haven't had any problems finding it yet. In the past, I have ordered it from Vitacost.
I've really liked Zevia too, especially their Cream & Ginger Root Beer flavors. I heard months ago they were coming out with a Creamy Root Beer flavor, but I have yet to find it anywhere! Zevia is hard to find, period. I'm in MO.
Me again. I also buy plain & flavored, unsweetened sparkling water & either add a bit of liquid stevia or sugar-free vanilla coffee syrup. It's just as satisfying as a soda.
So.Indiana/Louisville,KY area - We have Zevia in two larger grocery chains Kroger and also Meijer - runs about $1 a can unless on sale. We are getting a Publix in Louisville - and I would think they would carry it. We also have it in Rainbow Blossom, a health food store. Now, I did lobby several times with the store manager of Kroger in So. INdiana - and he finally saw the light and got them to keep it stocked. Maybe ask your store managers.
I too love Zevia! Yeah, it’s scarce here in bLouisiana at the stores too! I’ve ordered from Amazon lately myself, but I sure hope the supply chain catches up soon!
I’m a new fan of Zevia. The sodas bring me back to my childhood also. Testing on YT shows no glucose rise, And it does not trigger my sweet tooth, But actually calms it. The Ice teas are fantastic too!
Zevia seems to be still available here in Oregon, but only buy it occasionally as my goto is the lightly flavored seltzer waters. Sorry to here about the smoke but it is unfortunately normal around here. Just got to stay inside much as possible when you can feel it like,e you are. We had it so bad in 2020 that it was pitch dark at 9 am and mid afternoon the sky was the color of your wall behind you. Agree with the voice suggestions but to me you sound like the perfect voice over for technical subjects. I bet you could deliver the 1960s "Turbo Encabulator" script /video with a straight face! Lastly, you are a great help to all of us who are on this trying to get more healthy journey.
I've been fat since I was a teenager, and I agree 100 percent with what you said. It's gotten to the point that even telling someone they look good after losing weight is bad--that might trigger someone with an eating disorder, etc.
I've actually heard some "experts" say that you shouldn't mention to someone that they look great after losing weight because it implies that you used to judge them as "fat" and that you're only concerned with superficial appearances. It's amazing to me how emotionally fragile much of society has become.
I never saw Zevia soda at my local Costco. I use to drink it a lot, but it got pretty pricey. In my area (Bay Area, Northern California) I've seen them a few places still. Target, Safeway, Lucky's has them. Then Sprouts and whole foods. Usually, whole foods was the only place to get one flavor.
Zevia supply is going strong in Texas. Costco & Sam's Club have the different variety packs, local grocery store has the 'new' designed multi-packs. Sprouts is a go to specialty store that has every Zevia flavor in six packs.
Mot ever did I think you are rude or name calling. Ever. These ppl that find anything at all negative about you are just mean and looking to satisfy that mean feeling they have to live with. You are always so kind, funny and full of great information. I appreciate your vids and LOVE watching them. Esp w Colton!!!
Thanks for all you do Steve! I really like Zevia too, my favs are Black Cherry & Ginger Ale, and just found their Lemon-Lime 👍. I’m allergic to aspartame so avoid anything with that in it, severe headaches when consumed! My Sam’s doesn’t carry Zevia & I hate paying s/h🥲 and my H‑E‑B Grocery only has limited flavors, did notice a logo change though. Thanks Steve.
I have found Zevia at some "nicer" Walmarts (few flavors), but Sprouts has all the Zevia flavors. The ginger root beer is my fav. Most HEB's we've been to have had most of the flavors. Maybe, smaller stores won't carry it.
My wife & I appreciate your insights & recipe ideas. Sorry for the trolls & such that take away from all you do. It’s just a part of life in YT unfortunately. Thanks for all your efforts. 🙏🏻
Good morning Steve. My 3 local Meijer grocery stores in Kentucky seem to keep Zevia stocked up good. If you're close to a Meijer, you may want to stop in. They're in the $1.00 per can range in my area. Good luck in your search. I enjoy the Zevia's as well.
After you said something and I need some I checked on the Zevia soda. I went to a specialty grocery store in the area where I had bought it before. They had plenty and the 6-packs were on sale for $4.99. However, the 6-packs are now in a box and the can design has changed. So maybe retooling for this change has slowed production.
I have been taking 1-2 tbs of lemon or lime juice in a glass, adding a little scoop of pure stevia power, swirl, and then add a can/bottle of sparkling water like Bubly or LaCroix to it. Perhaps an oz of hard alcohol, depending on the night. I find this works well as I like my sugar free soda pretty sweet, and this way I control the sweetness.
I agree with you about body positive movement and obesity. I do understand that people are trying to encourage self love and self esteem which can lead to making a change as one grows to love themselves. I understand that we are also more complacent about being over weight.
I just want to say, in my opinion, I believe some of these really mean comments on people’s channels that go against the mainstream narrative, are perpetrated by AI. I don’t know anything about how these things work, but it seems like they pick up on certain words and then something is generated by it. I mean how many times have you had a conversation about something obscure and next thing you know you are bombarded with ads about what you were talking about. Or you were at someplace new and same thing with the ads. It just happened to me the other day. I went to a grocery store I hadn’t been to in probably 3 years, I had to go there to pick something up, left my ipad in my car and later that night every ad was about that store! I appreciate you, your videos, your family’s involvement, etc…. Keep up the great work that you do (sorry this was so long)!!!
Regarding Zevia, I live in central FL and usually buy it at Publix, but its been more limited on the shelves recently. CVS used to carry it but no more. I've noticed the re-branding logo change. It does seem like Publix is having a hard time stocking it. I usually get the ginger ale, no caramel coloring or other bad stuff.
Steve, I'm so sorry that you've dealt with bullying as an overweight person and more recently by the trolls on YT. I dealt with bullying for the opposite reason...i was always underweight into my 30s even though I ate more than enough. In jr high and HS, I was called bulimic and anorexic as well as being shunned. It hurts! As millions of moms around the world have said, if you can't say anything nice, dont say anything at all! My thyroid petered out in my mid-30sl, and at 56, keto is the only thing that keeps me in a healthy weight range! You do a great job disseminating information, and I have never thought anything I've heard you say comes close to bullying or shaming. The air quality in North Carolina was horrible all last week. I couldn't golf because it was too hard on my lungs. No haze today, though.
Very excited for the give away here at Camp Lejeune Military Base ! The troops would love to try some of those new flavors! What a Super Cute video with your Grandson ! Much Love can’t wait to see more vlogs w him he’s very smart and funny ! Great collab!!! Wisconsin 😂 Texas😂 so so cute !!! Thanks for another great giveaway shared at health and wellness USMC/USN ❤
I can confirm that Zevia did go through a package and item code change. I work for a natural food distributor and I’ve had to change over the codes on my accounts. No worries though because our distribution centers across the US have lots of zevia in stock and ready to go so it’ll just be a matter of stores ordering, waiting for it to get to them and getting it on the shelf😊
Hi Steve, We haven't had a problem yet with buying Zevia. In Rockford, IL. not too far from Janesville or Milwaukee, we get ours from Woodman's Grocery store. I don't buy it from Costco or Sams because I don't like all the flavors in the small packs, so we buy 12 packs of the flavors we like. They also carry some of the new flavors that Zevia is introducing. The turnover is high because it is popular, but they always restock. The cost atm is $9 for a 12 pack, there are other size packs available also, and single cans (for tasting first). Meijer also carries it, but not at the same quantity, and the prices are higher.
I hear you on the Canadian wild fire smoke. We live across the border in St. PAUL, MN. My husband mowed half our large lawn and was exhausted from heat and smoke. We try not to leave the house unless necessary, and just added an air purifier to our indoor appliances. Not how we planned to spend the summer!
Knoxville, TN here... Sam's has carried the 30-count variety box of Zevia, but it never included Dr. Zevia, but a ginger root beer instead. The local Costco has never carried Zevia as far as I can tell. Earth Fare, a sort of Southeast Whole Foods carries it in a pretty good variety of flavors as individual cans, six-packs for about $7, and 10-count cases for $10. Kroger grocery stores carries about four or five most popular flavors in 12-count cases for $10, but right now those are on sale for $8.50. In fact, I'm headed back there today to stock up on the cola flavor. I was in day-before-yesterday, but had no basket or cart, so could only carry one case out with the two other items I was purchasing.
Oh, yeah, forgot to mention, then I saw another comment below, the package and can art has all changed in this most recent round of offerings at Kroger.
Steve, I find individual cans at Woodmans. It is in their natural foods department. I'm going there today and will check out the price and if they have more in their actual soda department. I'm not a big fan, so i tend to only buy a few cans at a time. Great podcast as usual. 🙂
We have plenty of Zevia here in Atlanta. Kroger is a large grocery chain that carries it. Sprouts has more of a variety of flavors, but they are pricier than Kroger.
I love Zevia, especially the creamy root beer and orange. No problems getting it in northeast Ohio, but i notice that i can slam 6 cans a day, and still be thirsty. When i drink bubly (orange is my fav) it quenches my thirst and i go on with my day. So WAY cheaper. And no sweetener, so no trigger for me. Love your channel, thank u for all u do!!
The Kroger in my town (I’m in southeast Ohio) has the 6packs, the health food store across the river in WV has single cans. But the Sam’s Club over in WV hasn’t had the variety packs in months. I sympathize with you on the smoke, it was so bad here last week. My eyes were burning and watering.
Oh my goodness. I so enjoyed your rundown of probable carcinogens- and your tongue in cheek comments. The big C-virus certainly taught me to critique everything, but especially anything sanctioned by big-pharma, big-health or big-gov.
I'm in the St. Louis and we were under an air quality alert for about two weeks straight and the sky looked very hazy. As of right now there is no alerts. I am having trouble finding the Zevia here as well. My favorites are the Creamy Root Beer and the Cola and I can't find them right now. I also like the Dr. Zevia. Putting a splash of cream in them gives the feeling of a rootbeer or coke float. I gave up aspartame about 25 years ago because it was giving me bad headaches. Sucralose doesn't really bother me much, but I am trying to cut way way down on my sweeterers. The game stumps me, but I will probably kick myself when I see who other people say you look like. LOL! I have been watching you for a while from my other channel and I think you are nothing but positive!!! You always encourage me to keep going!!!
I like all the zevia products. The cream soda and rootbeer are my faves. But i like the teas best. I haven't noticed a shortage in indiana. I don't know if you've tried the alani drinks but the retro, cherry slush, blue raspberry slush and dream float are the best.
I support your attempts at trying to understand how "obese" people can be considered healthy - I'm confused by it too: at 193 lbs my doctor was all over me about my cholesterol and HBP and Type 2 diabetes; at 140, I have none of those afflictions anymore. But it's hard to say where genetics and other factors play a part, and maybe the concept of "obese" needs to be rethought in the way keto or low carb is considered unhealthy by other health advocates. Perhaps we can agree that optimal health is the goal, not thinness, so if someone can carry a lot of weight and be healthy at the same time, good for them. I couldn't and am much better off not just because I weigh less but because I eat food that makes my body run more efficiently.
I live in Central, Washington, State, and lots of times we have Canadian fire smoke. We have Oregon and we have Idaho. I remember one year just a couple years ago We were absolutely surrounded by it but usually around here It doesn’t come in till August. And with my asthma, it can be quite disturbing, but so far so good.
I used to get Zevia at Target but I stopped shopping there. Now I get it at Publix. I’ve never seen variety packs. I like orange, grape, root beer, and Dr Zevia. I haven’t seen a shortage of it but I’ll let you know if I do. “Possible” anything is just a waste of words - fear-mongering. Happy Independence Day, Steve! 🇺🇸🥓🇺🇸🥩
I just tried Zevia for the first time a few days ago. I saw some of the Root Beer at our local organic grocery (Golden Harvest in Rhinelander), checked out the ingredient list, and decided to try it. I was pleasantly surprised that it actually tasted like root beer and it didn't have a horrible aftertaste. It was very palatable to me. My daughter really loves root beer, so I'm going to suggest it to her to see if she will switch to that away from regular root beer soda.
PLUS, Polar uses non-fluoridated water in their beverages.
Great idea!! Thanks for that!!
I do the same thing! 💗
Great work! 👍
I’m very impressed!
Way to go 🎉
🎉🎉🎉
Awesome!! Congratulations on your weight loss!!
Zevia has been in the process of changing their branding. All the stores had it on clearance but now it's back with a new look. I'm in Arizona.
Same here in Austin. Now it's a blue and white box, but at least there is plenty on the shelves.
Where in AZ? I've wanted to try it but can't find it! I'm in the Kingman area.
It's same in NYC, but price goes down from $9 to $7.4 8 pack in Target
I absolutely love your voice, you should really record audiobooks!
Block those crazy people
Thanks for reading the WHO stuff for us and sharing it with us and being so balanced 😊
I wish all of my viewers would just put on my podcast playlist and let it go all night. It would definitely help channel revenue. 😉
@@SeriousKeto that’s what I’m doing now. Hoping it helps me sleep if not hoping it helps you.
I am one of the many that appreciate you. Thank you, Steve, for all the moments of clarity information brings.
I'll take that. 🙂
Such a wise man with logical words. I agree with everything you say. Such sad folks in this world.
Good Morning Steve, I live in Surprise, AZ and so far Zevia is plentiful. Love all your podcasts, Thanks
Congratulations on your progress. The only person I feel superior to is the person I was 5 years ago.
I've had some really spectacular sneezing fits from it. 😜
Namaste
Did you notice the shirt? 😉
@@SeriousKeto I did...and it gave me a chuckle. Chuckles are good.🙃
I could argue that any 3 letter organization’s advice is carcinogenic.
That made me chuckle
Yes! Love it :D
❤
Hahaha!!!!
Hi Eau Claire
Manitowoc here😊
First time I saw your video for some reason you reminded me of J. Peterman from Seinfeld. I had to look up the actor and it’s John O’Hurley. Love you and your videos are wonderful! From across the state in Hudson, WI.
I’ve heard that from a few folks. 🙂
I just wanted to say, on most channels I subscribe to, the broadcasters get older, you look so much younger today than you did 2 years back! great living advert for Keto lifestyle! cheers for sharing your experiences and really useful reviews.
Thank you for the kind words. 😊
Such a great podcast, thanks for doing the homework for us. Really enjoyed this episode.
I'm going to be really conflicted if, one day, they say something I actually agree with. 😜😄
Apparently in the middle east to where people drink a lot of very hot tea, throat cancer cases are higher there.
I always appreciate your view and comments. It makes me think about issues I normally wouldn't and that is a good thing
Thank you,
I like your voice. I didn’t realize that you sound like Casey Kasem til you said that. So true
I hope it's just a temporary thing, being out at my Sam's.
Another great show Steve! Thanks!
Yes. Definitely a shortage here in NW Iowa. Fareway, Hy-vee carried it but it has disappeared. Can only find Black Cherry, Gingerale.
Testing on YT shows no glucose rise,
And it does not trigger my sweet tooth,
But actually calms it.
@@SeriousKeto When I lose weight, I DEFINITLY wan people to notice and compliment my hard work.
Love and Light Friend. Appreciate YOU!
Yep. I live in Holland Michigan across the Lake and it's been terrible here for days and days😷
Thanks Steve for the take on aspartame and the WHO
Thanks for all you do Steve!
Sounds tasty.
Very good “thoughts on obesity”. Well said
I agree with you about body positive movement and obesity. I do understand that people are trying to encourage self love and self esteem which can lead to making a change as one grows to love themselves. I understand that we are also more complacent about being over weight.
Woodmans and Meijer in Kenosha had lots of Zevia in stock last Thursday night. I get mine at Woodmans since it's quite a bit cheaper.
Hi Steve, im from Michigan & yeah, i like zevia, its hard to find it here period, i get it from Shipshewana when i go..
Zevia is abundant in TX. Also, your look is a cross between John George O'Hurley Jr. and Peter Gallagher
Hooray!
Hi Steve,
We haven't had a problem yet with buying Zevia.
Fortunately, thing are looking normal today. I hope you’re experiencing the same.
Casey I can hear, Paul Harvey not so much. But Steve regardless you do have a great audio voice. Enjoyed your podcast as always
I think perhaps it's more the cadence than the sound of my voice that people think resembles Paul Harvey.
The first time I saw one of your older videos, my first thought was, “Dick Clark!”
You're the second person to mention Bubbly. I'll have to look for it.
Unfortunately Bubly has Natural Flavor. Deal breaker for me.
Zevia also had Natural Flavors….not good
The Kroger in my town (I’m in southeast Ohio) has the 6packs, the health food store across the river in WV has single cans.
Whole Foods and Safeway both have Zevia in stock here in Northern VA
You are a nice guy who does good videos. Don’t listen to the mean people just block them. 😊
Thanks for being a sensible voice of reason among all these "studies". Also, I think you look a bit like Alan Thicke. 😊
Love how you put this in perspective!!!
Big zevia fan too. I live near Panama City, Fl. I get mine at Target, Sam's Club, and Winn Dixie.
Here in TN. Zevia is available in Kroger/Food City & Whole foods where I shop.
