If an elderly has fallen...do NOT move them or help them get up....call an AMBULANCE. Just because they say or seem to want to get up on their own or with your help...REMEMBER many times a fracture or internal injury or pain will NOT be evident until the next day....Remember you're NOT a medical doctor NOR do you have x-ray vision to determine how serious is a NO pain fall, OR to determine IF they may have had a mini quickie stroke. You personally will be liable for $$$$ or the company you represent will be liable BECAUSE YOU did not call an AMBULANCE. IT is wrong to Roll the dice and help them up instead of calling an Ambulance.
EXACTLY MY EXPERIENCE! I HAD knee replacement surgery, and fell, i had no knees to rely on in order to crawl on my knees to get into a chair ... I had to crawl on my elbows and then slither onto the couch very very slowly. Super painful!
Seriously this is beyond ridiculous, very few seniors have the arm or upper body strength to use this information, it really is bizarre and Iit seems unlikely you could have even worked with seniors given the content
what if you don't have much upper body strength, and/or knee strength, due to muscle atrophy?
What if they can't crawl or get on their knees because of a knee injury? That's not going to work and in fact didn't work.
These techniques only work if you are fairly able bodied. Most of us older people are not so it doesn’t help me.
David Cooke I’m almost a senior and I’m fine.
It is easy if you have something to grab hold of but what if there is nothing to grab when you fall on the floor

Doesn’t work if the pp has back pain or knee problem
How easy it is for a soccer player to get up after a bad fall...Of course, he is young, but what is his strategy?
None of these actually work if you've had knee replace surgery. All of these require one to crawl which is NOT possible due to the pain.

Not very helpful if you have a total body fall.
Could only be American posting this nonsense...none actually help me when I have a fall.
