This video is brilliant in highlighting exactly what is wrong with refereeing in Scotland, with or without VAR! @@Rhwiajxdjn more so than those refereeing games & those reviewing those refereeing games & some of those watching and commenting on this video, it appears! 🤔 😄
So in the Kilmarnock simulation scenario, if that yellow was the 2nd yellow and resulted in a red, are they saying that the decision would not be overturned even though it's the wrong decision? That seems absolutely mental
while it's great to see them sharing this and admitting the errors, I'm sure a lot of people would like to hear how they got it so wrong on the day. What is it they thought they saw, or did they not understand the rules or the game.
this is brilliant..well done willie.. handball ?? any and every handball is a foul/penalty... "SORTED"!!!!....................... again brilliant , well done all involved.....
I applaud Willie Collum for trying to show that VAR are making an attempt to explain decisions to supporters. The fact remains that if a referee has bias to a side be it conscious or unconscious then these " honest mistakes" will still be made because whether the ref knows it or not he'll favour the side he has a bias towards and no amount of training can fix that. My other big problem is that until referees are made to show which club they support and have definitive proof to support the claim then it's a free for all. The last Glasgow Derby ref John Beaton a known Ibrox supporter and Andrew Dallas lead VAR a known Ibrox supporter, these guys should be nowhere a derby game again this goes back to bias be it conscious or unconscious it must affect decision making, there's no other league in the world where this would happen and that's why our ref's don't get chosen for big tournaments anymore because FIFA and UEFA know this and they're rank rotten as well. If the SFA and SPFL were serious about fixing the game they'd welcome a football regulator and clear both organisations from top to bottom and bring in football people without an agenda for or against certain teams, all any football supporter wants is a level playing field. I also think that we should adopt an NFL style of refereeing where the refs explain what the infringement was for and the appropriate punishment for a red card. For offsides and goals the refs could do the same it would mean fans in the stadium would know why it was offside, or if a goal was chopped off for a foul in an earlier phase or lead up to said goal, that way we'd know why a decision was made. We still might not like the outcome but at least that way there's a bit of transparency for supporters. I also think if a ref has made a mistake or a decision is subjective then they should be made to explain their decision after the game, they interview players and managers after games so why not referees?
I like it we rly should be getting stuff like this during the games tho actually hearing what the refs and that are saying instead of leaving us in the dark bit it’s a start
In the St Johnstone v Rangers game if its protocol to let play go on. Why in every other game is play stopped at corners for infringement by attacking players etc and not let play continue. Just seems like an excuse to be honest to give one team an advantage as this never happens in other games. But this new transparency by willie collum is great as long as decisions are consistent.
Fair play but that Kyogo vs Kilmarnock should be a sackable offence not awarding a pen. That is one of the clearest penaltiy shouts i have seen in my 39 years being a football fan. It's not only a pen, its also a red card offence. "He have a bad angle" but we can all see clearly on the footage ? lol
Am I misunderstanding this? The referee was correct not to blow right away when he thought a foul had been committed? I know they let play continue when it's an offside decision but a normal foul? I've never seen this happen before. Effectively, the referee gave an advantage to a player who, in his opinion, had committed a foul.
Be nice to hear these VAR room conversations during incidents. ...that 2nd incident though, Celtic's Kyogo clearly taken out by a Goalkeeper no matter the camera angle yet it's not given, with the VAR referee stating that 'the Goalkeepers just made himself big & stood his ground' !? 😶 🤯 That 3rd incident is clear handball! The VAR team reasoning saying the defenders arm was tucked in to his body, when it is clearly a foot away from his body being projected in the most obvious way and its the part of his arm furthest from his body that hits the ball, being his hand! ...i can't believe they're still not calling this handball on this video despite staring at the same footage as everyone else! 😶🤯🤯🤯🤯 ... I'm done!
Clearly missed the explanation of how it would have hit Barrons body anyway and also it came from such a short distance…. Explained perfectly yet this thread is full of (mostly Celtic fans) commenting of how the decisions wrong 😂😂
@@rikkihorn4301 no no we all heard 'the explanation' its just we have eyes of our own and can see that 'the explanation' is completely wrong given the ball would have flew straight past the player if his hand hadn't got in the way, his hand that was at chest height pointing away from his body! ...its a blatant Handball and to dress it up as anything other is idiotic!

Even if he does play the ball he’s came through the back of the player; either way that is a foul.
@@BMMCD that is true haha. no idea why he didnt give the foul
This transparency is excellent. Long may it continue! Excellent job by everyone involved with the idea 👏
Why isn’t the moment the ball is played forward in a offside var decision assessed as is the lines drawn on forward players
This is great keep this up 👍
This video is brilliant in highlighting exactly what is wrong with refereeing in Scotland, with or without VAR!
Honestly i am seething at how wrong some of these decisions are and more so at the incidents being wrongly called 'correct decisions' even with the benefit of hindsight & multiple angle reviews by Willie Collum! 🤯
Clearly no a ref 😂
@@Rhwiajxdjn more so than those refereeing games & those reviewing those refereeing games & some of those watching and commenting on this video, it appears! 🤔 😄
Seething 😂😂 shut up
Mental that Albian Ajeti is doing the VAR review show
So in the Kilmarnock simulation scenario, if that yellow was the 2nd yellow and resulted in a red, are they saying that the decision would not be overturned even though it's the wrong decision? That seems absolutely mental
while it's great to see them sharing this and admitting the errors, I'm sure a lot of people would like to hear how they got it so wrong on the day. What is it they thought they saw, or did they not understand the rules or the game.
this is brilliant..well done willie.. handball ?? any and every handball is a foul/penalty... "SORTED"!!!!....................... again brilliant , well done all involved.....
Great show
I applaud Willie Collum for trying to show that VAR are making an attempt to explain decisions to supporters.
It's a good start
wow i heard they weren't turning up to see Sevco but thats nuts .
This was brilliant.
Ultimately, the decision still stands, and potentially points lost. There needs to be action taken against officials who continually make wrong calls.
Also, I've never seen Willie NOT angry, he's so calm in this show when he's usually on par with Hells Kitchen Gordon Ramsay 🤣
Very informative, still dont agree with a ref telling a player not to tackle tho
This is a brilliant idea 👌🏼
No mention of the Kyogo goal against rangers that was onside?? Show us the line.
Brilliant idea doing this show. Holds refs accountable and hopefully start seeing the right decisions
for the Killie clip, thought if the foul continued into the box it was classed as a pen, has this changed with VAR?
This is a brillant idea
If you can ask questions atall I would like to ask how well know rangers/celtic fans are allowed to officiate the Glasgow derby?
Keep this going plz .
Yes mate cheers
Fair play but that Kyogo vs Kilmarnock should be a sackable offence not awarding a pen. That is one of the clearest penaltiy shouts i have seen in my 39 years being a football fan. It's not only a pen, its also a red card offence.
"He have a bad angle" but we can all see clearly on the footage ? lol
Can we not have an option on Sky/BT to hear VAR audio as standard?
Am I misunderstanding this? The referee was correct not to blow right away when he thought a foul had been committed? I know they let play continue when it's an offside decision but a normal foul? I've never seen this happen before. Effectively, the referee gave an advantage to a player who, in his opinion, had committed a foul.
Only difference one plays for Dundee and the other plays for sevco
About time ✅
Be nice to hear these VAR room conversations during incidents.
...that 2nd incident though, Celtic's Kyogo clearly taken out by a Goalkeeper no matter the camera angle yet it's not given, with the VAR referee stating that 'the Goalkeepers just made himself big & stood his ground' !? 😶 🤯
That 3rd incident is clear handball!
Would love them to back over the past few seasons and check penalties that The rangers got vs the ones Celtic got against them. You will see the bias . Hearts game they get a penalty, the exact same things happened up the other end and we got nothing
Why no audio for the Dundee United penalty claim v Dundee?
Another VAR intervention needed when it concerns Rangers & goals. It's funny how it's always against the smaller teams, ...
