The light background on Neil and the dark background on Roger makes me feel like I’m listening to an angel and a fallen angel’s conversation. Both have similar perspectives, just from different view points.
9:11: “I’ve got this fantastic photograph of you and he [sic]....” It’s of you and HIM”. “Him” is the OBJECT of the preposition “of” and thus requires the object form: “ him”, not “he”. It makes no difference whatsoever that the object is compound: “you AND him”. This is not merely an inexcusable grammatical error; it’s also a perverse affectation-because it’s obviously not how Roger Dean’s daughter or anyone else naturally speaks.
In case you’re wondering, this is as far as I got in the interview. I’m really pretty disgusted. Maybe if I were a comic book fan I might have the fortitude to soldier on nevertheless, but, alas, I’m not.
This made for the most enjoyable evening I've had in a very long time. Like sitting with old friends; which actually, it is.
