The Potter Collector Have you considered collecting ALL the wands? I read somewhere that there are only three people in the world who has all the complete replicas of all the wands, of course Universal is one of those three. It's just really, really cool.
I guess you won Peter because J.K. Rowling already knows everything about Harry Potter (the one and only person)
The Potter Collector Hey mate, just to let you know, Britain and England are not the same thing (Britain is an island, England is a country in the U.K. (which is a state made up of 4 countries - England, Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland)!
Just thought I’d let you know since the video title talks about “books from England” but then in the video you go on and describe them as British in the video.
A lot of Americans seem to think British just means English ...

I LOVE the uk deluxe editions. They are my favorie edition. Unfortunate they are expensive to buy a set now, but I keep looking, maybe one day 😀
Have you ever thought of using Mylar comic book bags (BCW or Mylites2 brands)? They present much nicer than regular poly bags and poly bags need to be replaced more often than Mylar comic bags. Also good to note, they are more sturdy than poly bags so idk if this will suffice
That would be better for displaying for sure. But I use them on books that are locked away and not on display.

How would you suggest displaying your books safely? I don’t have a lot of rare hp books like you (just one). And I was looking at shadow boxes from the container store. But I am was worried about it being made out of plastic.
Any suggestions? :)
I have used shadow boxes before. Also check out artdisplay.com for fun ways to display books with stands, cases, etc.

Anyone know the value of the deluxe editions mentioned at 9.34? I bought 2 in a shop when I was a boy around the time Goblet of Fire came out and have kept them in good condition all these years.
I saw your previous video's you have books in Gujarati and in Bengali and in other Indian languages that I never heard of. I live in India but I never heard that they translate Harry potter in these languages wow man you are amazing!!!!!

I don't know 3rd or 4rth printing harry potter philosopher stone because on the back of mine has old Dumbledore but if it's 3rd printing i got it for 50p
What are some values for rare later prints (2-4th for example) of the first book?
How much would you say the ARC for the first Harry Potter book typically sells for? You might have said it in the video, I might have just missed it.

you forget to mention, on the first copy of Philosoper's stone they also list "wand" twice. and they fix it on the second or third printing. i forgot. :D
That is all in the other video I mentioned about spotting a first printing. :) It was fixed at the second printing... but then showed up again in the 6th and some later prints.

I was lucky enough to buy a mint Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban 1st printing 2nd state British for only £3 and later found I had a chamber of secrets 1st edition 1st print paperback book I never thought to look till I found this channel 👍

I found a British first edition Harry Potter and the deathly Hallows at a flea market here in small town USA. Paid $4 for it. The lady didn't know what she had.

i have the philosopher's stone book first edition but it is 11th printing softcover so is it valuable or not? I think it is not valuable but i thought I'd ask it first

The funny thing is I got Philosophers, Order of the Phoenix, and Half Blood Prince in the UK Deluxe Editons on accident. I was supposed to get the original Bloomsbury but they send me those instead 😂

I am not sure about the print run of the swedish books. eBay would be your best bet.

What does it mean, to co-own a book? I assume you both spent money on the book, but what would you do with that co-ownership?
Basically, we are really good friends and instead of fighting over who would get the book, we both own 50% of it and if one dies, the other gets it sort of thing. :)

A few things. Sometimes I just like iced coffee, black, light ice. Other times I am in the mood for Nitro Cold Brew (black). Other times I am in the mood for Passion Tea, no sweetener, light ice. :) Never hot drinks though.

One of my books says 12-1 instead of 10-1. Does that mean it’s not a first printing?

But don't say is a community.
As far as I am concerned, when I make videos, we are all "together". Most of the people subscribed to this channel are part of a community of collectors. We discuss books in comments. It is indeed a community. Yes, this is my channel, but it is a place where people can come and discuss books, ask questions, and learn. That is a community.
