So beautiful! Ultra clean and all brand new! Someone will be very happy here!!!
Really shows just how small those engines are
That one only have two rotors to begin with, the three or four were kind of longer. But yeah, the fact that the small things like that can produce a crazy like horsepower is so insane
David Poole Same that engines a 13B which has 2 instead of the 20B/3 or the 28B/4 that even have 6 or 12!
I don't know shit about this engine but now I want to buy every single part and put it together my self. Lol. Nice video and simple too.
2:08 the most important part of the rebuild! XD FE13B owner checking in. Great video.
I like your tools, they show how much strength applied. nice work 👍
Nice rebuild for the mazda RX 7 engine.
dope you make it look so easy
I mean rotary engines ARE significantly more simple in construction compared to conventional piston engines.
@@Ac3sdg lmao try getting apex seals .1000 of an inch off and see how simple it will be when your car hardstarts
@@samurboi8007 dude seriously? Sounds like a pain but also a great challenge to get closer to your car -hoping I could get one myself 92-97 twin turbo 5 speed. Any suggestions or advice?
@@samurboi8007 .1000 (as is on tenth of an inch) is a lot to be off... Also, are apex seals adjustable? aren't they spring loaded to apply the pressure against the housing?
If I could, I give you two likes. 1 for amazing video, another 1 for the very clean job. Nice work!
Damn that engine looks good! 🤩
CHEERS CHIP TKS FOR FORUM RESPECT MAN
Such a simple and beauty engine
Thanks for the video.
Im in the process of tear down my engine and will be rebuilding it. First im going to take it to a shop to port the engine then i will be putting it back together if the shop chargers a lot for assembly.
Love your work man. 👏
I gotaa watch that again, that was so cool!
Thats the correctly rebuild very clean and precise
Thing of beauty nice job
very clean workshop
Thank you. Cleanliness is next to godliness.
Where is this Mazda factory located...???.....hahha.Very clean job.
Very nice man 👌🏾
Nice job !! I'm silicone lover too!!
I just found ya.. Awesome work! Sub!
Fuckin sandals in the shop I'm dead hahaha. Nice facility though, clean shop does clean work.
Spinning Doritos, spaghetti, and apex seals 🤣
I jest, I jest. Nice job!
It looks so easy
Amazing
very nice video
i believed that the original 13b engines are made well. it was always the complementing parts, materials, types of oil that everything is being put together that makes an engine last long.. =)
да ты крут чувак!
Nice boots
This was very cool, i'll even over look the socks and sandals LOL
Hitthatshit gotta get comfortable bro
U da best
Amazing video!
Keep it up, i 'm subbed
pd: rotary =
Hi Chip, could you tell me what sealant are you using to assemble?
i really want to learn everything there is to know about rotary engines
do you do the older rotary mazdas like the rx-3
What's in the sealant gun!?!? It's obviously not the Mazda stuff which is the only thing I use and shed a tear over purchasing every time!
strange rotor seals. good job.
Damm , these engines look so small.. good vid.
yea i think theyre 1.3L crazy power though with few actual engine mods i think they just use tougher studs and change up the apex seals
The rotary engine can make twice the power of a piston one with half the CC, but they are unreliable as fuck
@@elespiritudeltigre9526depends
Do you guys rebuild 20b? I'm swapping my fd with one and prefer if rebuilt and strengthened .
What is the best way to begin learning how to rebuild rotary engines properly? Where is a good starting point?
Levin Lover buy the tools, apex seals, seal sustitute paste, disassemble the engine, and then learn.
Is so simple that you gonna have more problems extracting the engine from the car than working with the doritos box
There's plenty of rotary rebuild videos available to buy. MazdaTrix has one, Pineapple Racing i think has one. lots.
Also, Factory service manual.
I want to work..you are super
Have you guys ever rebuilt a Suzuki RE5 rotary engine?
You rebuilt it in five minutes. *Wow!*
Hey i need tips on what i can do to my mazda rx8?? Like HP wise. Its bone stock and low miles, i love it but i want just a little more power. Don't really wana go with a turbo yet so plz help..
I saw this video on facebook for the first time. Could you write down the name of the music from the facebook video please?
Do rotary's use Teflon some parts in the engines
So how do you put theses engines in TDC before reinstalling?
i see rotary, i spam like
Crunchy euro beats
Whats the lubricant and the gray goo you used? lol
Not end play check done after assembly before installation of front cover ??
End play was edited out..
Pro
I want that engine
Are you using silicone on the end legs of the house, looks like 2 different types of silicone
Sammy Turbo yes silicone..
3:22 is that veilside?
Yes sir, it is. FD3S with full Veilside
no its a toyota prius
5.23
Real serious question, if I sent you guys my 12A would you guys rebuild it for me?
Of course. That's what we do. e-mail us chipsmotorsports@gmail.com
beautiful work,but why stock studds..
Denise Anderson just a street set up..
Lmao just a everyday veilside fd at the end
what was the chain driven bit on the front of the engine?
why does it have a sump if the oil gets injected in with the fuel?
is my understanding of the 13B not up to scratch?
Oscar Thorpe the chain drives the oil pump. And the oil is injected separately from the fuel, it has its own oil metering pump.
Some people delete the OMP, block it off, and run premix in the fuel system. Some believe it works better than oem system. I'd say do both omp and premix.
thanks Kevin
Yea no problem.
silicone?
how much it costs to do that ???
What's the thing youre putting into the rotor @1:15 ?
Apex seal springs
it would be intersting why some people disliked the vid
Eweh pakingan euy
Bilet inch?
This looks so easy, now I'm kind of wondering what makes rebuilding an engine so expensive lol
I once heard a story from a professional locksmith. When he first started, he would come to a house to open a lock and it would take him an hour. He would struggle to use the tools. He would struggle to align the pins. But eventually, the locksmith would pop the lock and the owner of the house felt so bad it was difficult, he would pay him his fee AND tip him on top of it. As the locksmith excelled at his craft and learned to use his tools, he would show up to a house and have the lock opened in under a minute. The home owner would then look at him sideways and begrudgingly pay his house call fee, no tip, no thanks.
Rebuilding a motor is no different. Sure, the parts cost money but what you're paying for is years and years of experience. A plumber just connects pipes. An electrician just connects wires. It all looks easy when a professional does it. ;)
So what you're telling me is; Learn how to rebuild engine professionally?
If so, I'm down
Basically 1500$+ profit from around half a day of work, not bad!
The video is missing a couple days of prep work, Cleaning , measuring machining etc.. Might do a long version soon, to entail start to finish job.. Will be more realistic..
Chips Motorsports LLC I'd really be interested in seeing that!
Yes 1500 profit my ass.... before or after he's done measuring, cleaning, tearing old one out of the car, pulling all items off the rotor housings. While working on other customers cars ect. That's like the people I do work for on custom full car restorations. "Well chip foose can do it in 48hours. Why does it take more than a year for you to do it?" Um #1 chip foose is a tv show with unlimited budget that he writes off as donation in his taxes for a car show. So he has at least 15 people working on that car for 48 hours. #2 no other cars or customers while he works on it. #3 all off the shelf parts and cars he takes have miles of bolt on parts since cost and parts are mostly donated to the show. #4 I already work 12 hours a day. On multiple cars at once it takes time to get parts and refresh and not resto mod old cars if you want a numbers matching body to engine to transmission. Rebuilding and milling an engine can take weeks to get back from engine shop. #5 your car is in nowhere as good of condition you think it's in due to your rose colored glasses you are seeing it through. There are major set backs after looking over a car that is old as there is always rust you cant find until frame and body are off.... #6 usually shops that are fair only mark up cost of parts a little and make money off hours worked on said vehical. Shops that mark up parts 500% or more and charge premium for labor go out of business fast.
here Iam looking to this engine without having the car🥲
New or used engine?
New
Refurbished sorry..
Really small engine but worth as 3000cc inline 6
Fucking Goat 🐐 🔑
The engine is not done yet
What is the tool at 2:58 - 2:59
Snap-On Digital Torque Wrench

Chips Motorsports LLC Thank you so much
Sympathy of the Devil... indeed!!
I like the Guns N Roses version better.
I c u didn’t port... why
1:30 whats in that gun?
Evan Spiteri oil can
Thanks for the quick reply. This is a stupid question but what kind of oil is in the oil can? haha
i think its just regular engine oil, rotary engines burn a little bit of oil on purpose so the petroleum jelly and the oil burn off safely
aka The Smallest Engine
Now it can last another 10000 kilometers
why 10k maybe 3? if hands of idiots of course
if badly tuned of course! But then, them fools don't deserve to Drive a Rotary...
they last up to 100,000km to even 140,000km if taken care of and not abused.
Bujug buneng bahasa apa ini
Wow. So simple, yet so inefficient.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
it looks very small
MixaL1s6804 1.3 liter but can make lots of hp if done right
Bad backsound
