It is nice to see that there are still some riders that don't mind being unique. I did notice that Valkyrie while you were filming in the parking lot. Thanks for the video. Be safe, have fun.
Thank you so much for this video! I'm 42 years old and I've been on the fence about purchasing a goldwing because its widely known as an OLD MANS bike... my last bike was a Victory Hammer 1731cc 106ci motor... fully customized... I slid into a rock wall going 80mph 4 years ago and I haven't ridden since, I've always had the want to go ridding but wasn't ready yet, now I think I am and I want a bike I can ride for hours on so that led me to the Goldwings, still not 100% sold on them just yet but seeing a MC rider like yourself with a club gives me more motivation to buy one. Please make more videos! Thank you for your service!
Thank you for the kind words. I also had a nasty accident with my 2014 Heritage softail. It took a little bit of time but I needed the highway. It is in my blood. I have been riding for 40 plus years and it has maintained my sanity. It is medicine for the soul. So glad you are ok. Stay joyful my friend.
Great message. I’m 74 and ride an 08 GW. Also have a newer awesome 2018 Wing but like my 08 best. Keep riding. Exercise and stay young and healthy. Lord bless. 😊
I had a bad accident in Ireland in my 30s. Girl was doing her makeup in the mirror and pulled out without looking. Lost almost both kidneys. Liver damage. Some damage to my lungs and head. 5 broken ribs Ripped fingers back and deal with arthritis now. Bad knees. Didn’t ride for 13 years. Have a gold wing now and love it. I’m in my 50s. It’s a great bike even if you aren’t doing cross country mileage. Just traded my older one in for a silver 2023. It’s awesome - it’s so smooth it doesn’t shake my body at all so it’s really good for me.
Awesome bike sir. I have had Hondas since I started riding and as much as my friend wants me to buy a Harley, I stick to what I know and what I love to ride. Good to see more diversity in the clubs.
100%. The Gold Wing. So misunderstood to those stuck on a specific brand based upon an image represented that brand. Also appreciate that if they are happiest that way that’s all that really matters. But sometimes in life knowledge is power. A Gold Wing, once ridden, the fact of it’s power, smoothness and quietness becomes apparent and translates immediately into the comfort. But I digress. What is important, that “any day out on two wheels is a good day”. Great job out there. Subscribed. Ride safe and often.
@Into the Sunset You as well. Beautiful day here in Texas supposed to reach 72 degrees. Gonna get out and get some wind therapy today with my bike. Enjoy your weekend!!!!
HalleluYah bro. I'm 34 first time rider. I live up the hill and lived in Beaumont- Cherry valley. Khahahahaaa. Needed serenity and a way home from work (car hauler) you definitely have me sold. Praise GOD and pound hard my brother!
I'm starting your video now and guessing that at the end there will be some GoldWing envy, but they might not admit it. Let's see what happens.... Good to hear some of your buddies supported your GoldWing. Mike from Sonoma County, CA. ROCK ON !!!
I feel the same way with my road glide special...I enjoyed the video and I'm in a club as well..As a family man..my bike and bike outings gives me a bit of piece and tranquility..Ride safe man..and God bless
I’m with you! I ride a 21 Wing my club is mostly Indian motorcycles. My SAA just got a 22 Wing as well so now there’s two! Enjoy your bike and good video sir.
I've riden that area often ...traveling from Golden Valley AZ. to visit my oldest daughter in Riverside CA. And taking 58 to Bakersfeild and 46 over to Cambria CA. Where I'm originally from. I personally love the trip.
Good show I also noticed a Triumph Rocket out there, as for the silent bike you were the only one arriving home without a headache. The Wing is stunning 😍
Ok cool I will scan for the rocket. Thanks for the comment and the view my friend! Keep the videos coming. Always nice to see what is happening with motorcycles in your neck of the woods.
my dad has a older 86 goldwing i rode it i have a 06 street glide i love how smooth it was no shaking i might just get one and have the best of both worlds
I agree with you. 11 years ago I went from Goldwing to Electra Glide I have put over 100,000 miles on my Electra Glide and I still say the turn signals on one switch is a far better idea.
Yep. It is so nice having the turn signal switch easy to turn on and cancel with the left thumb. Thanks for the comment and the view! Ride safe brother.
Thanks, Elvis. I really enjoyed this. When you mentioned, "stop watching the news", I recognised you as a soul-mate: life really is too short I'm not usually one to subscribe, but in this case, I'll make an exception. Thanks. And the best of luck to you from England.
I try to kill miserable people with kindness. Sometimes it works, sometimes it makes the more miserable. Win win in my book. Ride what you like…could you imagine me pulling in that group with my Spyder lol? Nice ride and commentary.
I have a Harley, an Indian, a Goldwing etc and I know how you feel when I ride w my club. They know I have American bikes but the goldwing so comfortable for long rides. And its quite.
I know this is not really the place for posting such question .. but maybe I’ll get lucky .. my problem .. I’ve a 2012 goldwing ( navigation / abs blah blah blah ) But lately my heated grips / seat don’t work … but more importantly just the digital screen will go out ( only while riding ) then turn back on .. Relay switches ?? - 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Three hours from Vegas! It's a good thing I'm not that close. It takes a lot of effort for me to get there. Interested in how you mounted your drink holder. It looks like it's bolted in to your clutch hydraulic. I always thought it was odd that Honda didn't either furnish a drink holder somewhere on the bike or have a well in the fairing or the tank. It's kind of a primary concern for a long tourer. Or maybe I'm seeing one at 5:20? I'm honestly not a big Harley fan, but there were some damn pretty Harleys in that group! And I even saw another Valkyrie in there! The mere fact of knowing I was amidst a group of riders who for the most part frown on Japanese bikes would turn me off. If I see a pretty Harley, I compliment its owner. But most of those guys won't give you the time of day for owning a Honda. I can't get behind that. We just got a good coating of snow here in Virginia, so riding is off the table for a bit. I'm getting anxious to get back out again! 😎👍🕶🏍🏍🏍👉👌😜🛸👽👈
Kuryakyn makes the one that sits inside the storage compartment on top of the tank www.amazon.com/Kuryakyn-1669-Glove-Box-Cubby/dp/B008Y26Q04/ref=asc_df_B008Y26Q04/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312061982315&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9501732643891331576&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9031370&hvtargid=pla-570581064695&psc=1 And also the one that mounts into the OEM bolts on the control area. wingstuff.com/products/27629-clutch-brake-or-round-handlebar-drink-holder-w-basket
Coming off 10 years on a hot rodded Victory and HDs before that ..The Wing is great bike and a hoot to ride but it does lack the "coolness factor" of an American V-Twin... Luckily at 56, I'm just past the my own coolness stage 🤣...
I've got the best of both worlds a HD Road King and a GWing 1500. They are my 2 favorites and are a blast to ride and travel on. Screw the haters of either biker- they're clueless noobs.
You are right. It seems like no one rides choppers anymore. I remember those days strapping all of our gear to the sissy bar and back seat with no windshield. It’s was a different world back then.

Yep, there was the black Valkyrie and also a Kawasaki Voyager. I am really loving my wing! Thanks for the comment and the view my friend. Ride safe.

Oh yes, I switched from an Electra glide to a Goldwing and holy hell you would have thought I murdered someone hahaha. Good on ya for riding your ride
Haha! I get the same reaction, except I kept my Electra Glide when I bought the Wing.
Yet another awesome video. Glad to see that your MC isn't brand blind. Looks like it was an amazing ride and a great time!!!
Thanks brother. I appreciate it. Stay safe my friend.
@Into the Sunset You as well. Beautiful day here in Texas supposed to reach 72 degrees. Gonna get out and get some wind therapy today with my bike. Enjoy your weekend!!!!
Nice ride brother! Ride what you like! I have a Harley but love Wings. Love you positivity my man! 👌🏼✌🏼

Love your personality.
A nice old Valkyrie in the parking lot.
Love what you ride.
They can complain about the GW if they can catch up. 👍🏼👍🏼

Just loved Gold wing on the move
I’m with you! I ride a 21 Wing my club is mostly Indian motorcycles. My SAA just got a 22 Wing as well so now there’s two! Enjoy your bike and good video sir.
Thank you for the comment brother. I bet that 21 is a great ride. Be safe out there. I appreciate the view.
Really enjoyed this...love your positive attitude!
Thank you so much for the comment my friend. I subbed to your channel. I enjoy what you do. Ride safe!

Thanks appreciate your support too.

Now you need an old GL1500 to complete the picture. Love my 94, plenty of power, comfort, and a 40-degree bank angle makes for fun.
I had an 88 GL1500 years ago. It is the reason I got this one. I do miss the 1500 sometimes. It was a great ride. Ride safe brother.

Great job thank you.

We can at least give it a shot but some people are happy being miserable. :-) A Spyder would really be unique there. lol.
Lol .. like 👍 your post 😉

Unfortunately I'm not very tech savvy. I tried doing a web search but no luck. If I find anything I will let you know.
GoldwingDocs has alot of helpful info.

you are so right !!!
Now riding the best bike in the world!
I agree! Thanks for the view. 👍

Like you I fail to conform to the harley concept.
Thank you for watching. Enjoy the highway my friend and be safe.
i miss my hd butt i love my gw
Same here sometimes but the HD fades a little more when I twist the throttle on my wing. :-)
No Choppers, all Baggers. I guess the day of a bedroll strapped to a sissy bar is long gone.
……rolling luggage racks today.
You are right. It seems like no one rides choppers anymore. I remember those days strapping all of our gear to the sissy bar and back seat with no windshield. It’s was a different world back then.
