Hello Dear Viewers :D
Today, I am doing a video about showing the new AMD Adrenalin 24.3.1 Drivers.
These drivers bring LOTS of fixes for some older issues and an "unlock" for the RX 7900GRE that can now overlock its VRAM a lot more.
As always, leave your experience in the comment section as it may help others.

As always, let the community know your experience! And BTW, lay an eye on my Video section if you want to help the channel and watch some cool content!
Fabio get some rest people can wait your health is important thanks for the upload
Are we going to see some performance charts with the new gre unlocked vram speed
RX 5600 XT no problems. BF 2042 is still running smoooooth (with my tweaks). Watching my FPS closely in that game the driver might even give you an extra FPS here and there, but def. NOT less. You deserve more fame.
which software is using for showing game stat is using. please make video on game stat topic
Fabio I want to tell you about VR problems in newest drivers. Apparently AMD broke ALL VR ecosystems with 24.1.1. I waited for the 24.3.1 but unfortunately VR is still broken. Please tell people that if they want to play VR they have to downgrade to 23.12.1. VR works perfect in 23.12.1. And as always thank you for your work !
Good to see AMD sending you a card. Best channel on the internet for AMD gpu stuff, and benchmarks in general!
thanks!
I can't agree more. Fabio is in fact the best AMD info and stress test content creator on UA-cam period.
💪
facts!
I think AMD did the right thing! Congrats!
3 is the year, 24 is the day and 1 is the gpu, or something
So I heard
Big laughs 😂
😆😆😆
Facts
"well actually" 🤓🤓🤓
This man is underated always on top of every thing
Thanks!
He is picking up subs pretty fast. He was around 50k subs when I subbed to him within 2 years. For many content creators about this topic took over 5+ years and still not have as much as Fabio has.
Much anticipated video ( even though of commenting on your FSR 3 video for this but i know you are working on it :) )
Please keeep up this series it helps us a lottttt.
Super underrated channel, thanks for your work man! Really helped in making my decision on going AMD for my gpu
As always, thank you for your work Fabio!!
This is the best channel for amd users, thank you very much for all your work and support....greetings from Argentina
FABIO!!!!! I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!! I had a long day at work 13hour shift and watching your videos I feel relaxed! THIS IS MY ASMR! TECH NEWS ASMR!
I am just switching to pc from XSX & PS5 and due to my budget, went with a 7800XT.
Your vids are filling me with confidence that I made a good choice over going the more expensive NVIDIA route!
Thankyou 😁
I've recently switched to the reds myself. RX 6800.
And I'm very happy with it. It's a pretty solid GPU for 1080p and 1440p gaming.
7800 XT is a great card they sell tons of those. 7900 GRE also a secret tip if tuned properly.
I have the budget for an RTX 4090, but I still opted for the 7900 XTX.
Thanks for another great driver video! I don't decide to upgrade until I've seen what you have to say about it.
Thank you my friend!
I installed yesterday and video today. Life is good. Thanks!
Thank you for your hard work !
Can’t wait to see your overclocking video of the rx 7900 gre nitro (I have this card so I’ll follow your instructions)
There are OC video's with nitro but there is none with Pulse version
This screams for a 7900 GRE retest incl. OC and UV.
Good job as always!
Ofc. I said I would do it :D
I updated to this driver yesterday. Brilliant driver. Even Windows 11 likes this because i felt everything working snappier. (I did a DDU for it, maybe I needed a cleanup.) Happy to see it doing well on your video in game test. Cheers Fabio!
Thanks for uploading the video as always. For me one of the best drivers I've had since I got the 6800xt. No problems so far, I notice that in games that "compile shaders" I have less stuttering. In Diablo 2 Resurrected which is my main game after killing shenk I always had crashes, with all the drivers I remember I had crashes, with these I've killed him like 30 times and I haven't had crashes once.
Wow Thank you for all the information.. I will updates to 24.3.1 from 24.2.1 soon...
I dont even have an AMD card. I just love watching this content. Keep up the amazing work, so happy you're getting stuff sent to test and amazed at the quality of your videos as always!
You're soon going to own an AMD GPU and you know it because that's why you're here... 👍😎
@@bjornpaulsen3015 I need CUDA/OptiX for rendering and running AI models 😭
@@bjornpaulsen3015 Also looks like Nvidia don't care about gamers anymore they are too focused on AI, I guess companies with AI paying more than gamers.
hell yeah, the GRE is finally unlocked :D i've got a Sapphire Pulse model, really hope you're going to do an overclocking and undervolting guide, never overclocked / undervolted before so a guide would be incredibly useful
I have it too yesss
I have 80-100fps in Alan Wake 2 all high settings but stuttering is making me crazy
@@wombatchelsea231440? My 6950 XT doesn't stutter in Alan Wake 2.
2500 MHz on vram should be easy as in fact it uses 2500 ram detuned to 2250 (the 7600 XT also has this “issue”).
7900gre user here. Only regeret to buy it because the horrible bandwidth hinder it too much. Gotta install this dreiver to try out more.
I haven't noticed a difference, other than a lower card temp at same spec gaming It also looks like my COD gaming issues are currently resolved using 'fullscreen borderless' graphics and 'Default' card settings. Any other setting crashes the game and my system. Thanks for your time and efforts to share this with us all. Much appreciated.
Great video as always! :D
Hey man! I just wanted to tell you one thing: I watch your videos for years now and thanks to you I know stuff about AMD.
You are a down to earth person and I honestly love you man! Keep it up!
I used yur code and got windows 11 for cheap!!! Let’s goooooooo!!! 🙏🙏
Thanks!!
I'm considering buying a code for windows 11 everything ok with it?
Geee Veeee Geeee MAAALLL
Thanks for the video, I can confirm performance is better overall even compared to 2023.12.1 wich were the better ones out of the last releases.
Great video!
Thanks for another great video Fabio! Since I'm still sitting on 23.12.1, would you suggest I use the AMD Cleanup Utility to update, or updating straight away via Adrenaline would be fine? Again, thanks!
With that difference, three or more different driver releases since yours, it's a good idea to use the Cleanup Utility or DDU in safe mode.
Always clean install
The fact that you have "millions" of views in the picture provided at 0:51 shows the quality of the channel, getting closer day by day I see!
Hahaha, showing in portuguese
Fabio: "Please Lisa, just let me sleep"
Lisa: "We're done when I say we're done"
Just upgraded to the new drivers yesterday and so far everything looks really good. So far as I can see I'm just seeing performance gains and no real drawbacks, which is exactly how I like my driver updates. Heck, though I can't say it is definitely linked, but my system memory usage actually seems to have gone down or stabilized as well, as with the last drivers having the pc up and running for over a day would see memory usage creep up as time went on. Since upgrading drivers it has been rock solid stable even with launching and playing several different games and applications.
I like these drivers. Stability and bug fixes are what I'm looking for with each new release, but I've noticed minor performance increases across the board in the 3 boxes I've got AMD cards in (6800xt, Vega 64, and RX580 2048sp).
Freakin' love your meme intros :D
I hope you know you are a huge help to AMD owners. I was an Nvidia user for over 10 years and finally made a move and got a 6900xt 5 months ago, and your channel is the main reason I know anything about how to tune and use it properly.
Looking forward to your 7900 GRE video with that memory unlocked! :)
Bought a 7800xt about a month ago and this driver is the most stable one for me. Tried 23.11 , 24.1 and 24.2 and had some stutters going on my system is smooth as hell on this one 👌
yeah my system was stuttering with rx6600 i put nvidia in and stutters gone
Hi! Thank you sooooo much for your hard work :D Don't worry, as you said, the problem with Dead Space stuttering is not Amd related, the game is just broken. Digital Foundry made a video pointed this out because EA has not patched the game since febraury 2023 XD. Thank you again Fabio, regards from Dominican Republic.
This update was actually available for my RX Vega 56. 24.2.1 was not, probably security and bug fixes but appreciated.
oh how its nice to see an FPS boost on 7800XT ! Thx Fabio
I noticed a big improvement on stuttering while playing HLL with a 6750xt with this driver.
I've seen the same thing with Forever skys, but improvements in hell divers... it doesn't crash now but the reflection have to odd behaviour
Im glad they've fixed the helldivers driver issue, the crashes are unbearable but this should help with less crashing, now its just up to the game devs to fix the last crashing issues! Great video as always.
Thanks mate!
Thanks again Fabio for your excellent video!
I can confirm that helldivers 2 now its perfect stable on my uv/oc 7900xtx.Before the new driver was the only game that give me random crashes with my stable uv/oc.I notice the gpu clocks are lower for some reason in helldivers maybe this is the reason that is stable now.Anyway its a improvement for sure.
Thanks again for you nice video, appreciate!
As always. The BEST Channel for AMD. Thanks Fabio
I noticed a huge stability and boost in Fluid motion frames as identified in the release notes. Might be worth checking out and comparing
I switched to amd thanks to you, and i love it!
Helldivers seems to run better on my 7800xt. Appreciate the update Fabio.
I really like how they give a resolution target for fixes, I can't remember if Nvidia do the same thing though 🤔
Updated to the newest driver and chipset all working smooth
Great video. Honestly I learned that I should stick with the PRO drivers. Since I'm not playing the latest games they give me more stability, and I like having more stability over numerous games than performance in the latest ones.
Kudos to detailed Driver reviews, Fabio. Gr8 work as always.
But the Radeon Overlay 24.2.1 problem continues, CPU metrics are OFF (showing 0 or "nan")
NOT available @ AMD Adrenalin 24.3.1 Overlay (and Performance tab) but sometimes it works randomly after a system reboot.
Yes, I used AMD cleanup utility while uninstalling 24.2.1 & installed the new 24.3.1 as usual.
Nothing changed... It's like a lottery, no one knows whether it'll be working or not.
Report it 💪💪
@@AncientGameplays did already
Check your registry for Ryzen master installations. For me a year ago or so there were 3 versions of Ryzen master installed somehow and they were interfering with each other, breaking the CPU metrics.
@AncientGameplays how consistent is your fps in Dragons Dogma 2? 100 to 90 is surprisingly good considering the disaster of a launch it has been for that game. Is it consistent or just that area?
We were all waiting for this review from the AMD Jesus!
I grew up with such primitive graphics cards. The first I bought was a 16 MB Voodoo Banshee! Been gaming lately and loving the era I live in for tech!
This driver actually helped me lot in Helldivers 2 but it feels like i have performance loss in DX12 when playing H2
I was hoping the next driver release would 'unlock' the GRE. Very pleased w/ the easy-peasy 2600Mhz (2612set?) on my Nitro+.
Fabio are you a vampire who doesn't need sleep haha, your firing these videos out like crazy!
Going to update my drivers tonight. I'm still getting some stutters here and there in New World, where my old RTX 3070 stuttered less, but had far less overall FPS. Hoping this new driver helps!
since you have way more FPS you might need a better CPU/RAM to hold those numbers
One more thing is that AMD released the new PRO Software 24.Q1 and it still support Vega and Polaris cards(which the 23.Q4 didn't), it works flawlessly on my RX 570 while lowering idle power consumption to 4.4W
Thanks for the info bro
This has been the best driver in a while for me (7900xtx). Super stable and performance feels great. Helldivers 2 never crashes now
The driver fixes for helldivers on the 7900xtx is INSANE. 10-20 fps increase and I havnt crashed once AND my oc works now
Wait what is the win in terms of Hypr-RX? I rly don't get the benefit of it. The only benefit is that you can use multiple of these features together right? Like Chill+AntiLag+RSR for example? It seems kinda gimmick or useless no?
I had to watch that intro a few times before I realized what I was looking at
I cannot stop laughing when watching that haha
I'm still trying to "spot the difference" between the two videos. Still haven't done it yet, they're the same video.
After watching 3 times I started laughing like a maniac :D
No, you can't sleep.
We need AMD videos 24/7 since.you are the only one doing them!
We need Fabio 24/7😂
Can you make a video on Overclocking the GPU, CPU, and RAM? Preferably 7900XT Nitro+, 7800x3D, and cl 30 Ram in general. Also, based on your experience is under-volting better? I’m trying to get max performance from every piece of hardware I have.
Helldiver here. I plopped this driver in right when I got home, and played HD2 for 3 hours and didn’t have a single issue. It still seems to run the cpu a bit warm, even with chill doin its thing but ,.. ran fine.
(7800x3d/7900xtx)
Waiting for 7900 GRE VRAM OC. Great work as always!
Yesterday I was about to order whole PC with 7800x3D and 7900 GRE but decide to wait a little bit now I see 7800x3D go from 360 euro to 460, hope 7900 GRE will not increase in price
7800X3D had a promotion yes
Can you benchmark different amd vs nvidia models in Blender renders? I focus mainly on gaming but occasionally dabble in blender, it’d be great to see how amd fares in that department
Best channel! Update VulkanRT + 24.3.1 drivers - RDR 2 smooth gameplay (async compute, SAM, UV, Vulkan). Install with DDU, no issues. Thank for you content. In Russia with respect!
Doing a budget build with an RX 580 (sapphire) later today - what do you recommend for drivers? If I go to AMD's website under the 580 support page, it looks like they are recommending the newest drivers (24.3...) I've read to only use 23.11.1 or lower. Also, I plan on selling the PC after I build it. So if I get 23.11.1, with adrenalin software - will it stay at the driver? What if the user updates it via adrenalin because it says there is a newer one? Will Windows try to auto-update to a newer one than 23.11.1? Please advise the best thing to do?
So glad they sorted helldivers 2 finally!
Bom trabalho, este tipo de vídeos pode parecer que não mas é muito valioso
Hi, I currently have the sapphire pure version of the 7900GRE and have found it stable at 2500mhz however I'm not very experienced with overclocking and would love to see what performance you can pull from one . A video detailing an overclock on this card would be great!
Hello ! Can I save the settings I make in the adrenalin software if I use ddu? I know the oc profile can be saved but what about the rest? You said Amd sent you an rx 7900 xt ? Will you do an oc/uv video for it? Thank you ! Keep doing what your doing!
finally updated drivers for cs2
too smooth gameplay now than older 24.2.1
cheers dude
Hi oldsport, will you make a new tutorial about using the best settings on adrenalin for new releases (2024)? I am sure many of us will be happy to see one. Great work btw!
Yeap, very soon, just want ro make some videos first 💪💪
Do you know anything about when is Anti - Lag + coming back? I only bought this new series of GPU for that feature and it hasn't comeback yet. Thanks
спасибо тебе хорошие видео, продолжай!!!
Been waiting for this
Edit: oooooh
there even exist polaris-vega drivers for this release (although with only small changelog). if you add "-polaris-vega" to the end of the release notes URL of 24.3.1 then you get to these drivers!!!
btw. queijo serra da estrela or queijo fresco ?
Need to test 6800xt/6950xt performance man I see 4.5% increase on 6750xt on that starfield
Hi, I wanted to know please : for gain fps but the better graphic game is it better to disable RT or Lower one step the quality of the game (for example im in ultra and go down to high to keep good fps and keep RT) or inverse stay with max ultra settings but disable RT, in general ?
Ty for ur answer and the video
Please also test the legendary RX 480 or 580. I still have one as a backup GPU and it's been interesting if new drivers impact the performance or any user experiences.
They don’t in fact these drivers are only for RDNA GPUs.
You've probably mentioned this in your other videos but what software are you using to monitor fps, gpu, cpu, ect. ?
Msi afterburner
I have my XFX RX 7800 XT BLACK Edition with this driver, no issues at all.
Can you test icafe drivers vs regular? İ hear they have better 1 percent lows but need uwp panel
6700 with 24.3.1 With Helldiver 2 In game fps was improved a bit but the cut scene had stutters. Maybe a cache issues not sure.
Great video! I’d like to find out from anyone how are the opengl drivers from the latest adrenalin software on windows? Is it still hit and miss or has the performance been fixed?
Hello should I do a factory reset when updating to the new drivers or should I just uncheck it and proceed with the new driver update?
Lol I feel like this driver update is from 20 years ago because it covers starcraft II and WoW fixes. Thanks for the video!
I have the 5700 6600xt combo. Should i download new drivers for this or keep the same adrenaline im running from 5 months ago
I'm currently playing Horizon forbidden West. I'm a witness, before the update, when I enabled the fluid motion it was stuttering. I clearly saw the difference after this update, it is so much better, great job AMD.
Oh okay bro, I didn't see that, thank you very much.
Did they increase the core clock limit past 2800 as well, or just the vram.
I have a question regarding the new chipset drivers, I did a clean installation of Windows today... and I used the automatic tool to install the AMD drivers but the version of the chipset that was installed was the one prior to Revision Number 6.02.07.2300 my question Is it worth installing them? I found it strange that the tool did not automatically install the new ones and install 6.01.25 (sorry for english i use a google translate) i have a ryzen 5 3600 and rx 6700 no xt
Will there be a gre oc guide? Just got the card and I'm really enjoying it
There will 💪💪
Any fix on the new drivers for Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 crashing while loading any saves?
24.2.1 had issue with warzone with directx error i had to go back to 23.11.1. By chance did they fix that issue? I did try every fix i found and it didn't work. i have the 6900xt
They fixed the RGB laser show bug in Dying Light 2 Radeon Boost tho only works fine on dx12 on DX11 it freezes, when you move your mouse, this may not be happening for everyone tho, if not checked if it also fixed issues during cutscenes when beating the game as well, those had graphic glitches to but it looks more like real artifacting rather then an RGB laser show, i have footage of that tho but cant link it and the footage is a spoiler.
Is this GPL DXVK Windows thing ever going to be fixed? And can this be fixed on AMD's end or is this sth that can only be done by the guy that works on DXVK?
im updating my amd right know :D
