Not to mention, they've been walking and eating this entire time so the orc lord has been getting stronger and stronger since he shares his strength with his subordinates. While Gabiru doesn't have that Unique Skill, he's just a Lizardman who happens to be really good at swinging a spear and lets praise get to his head way too quickly.

A worse person would've used the goblins as bait while running away. But Gabiru promised to keep them safe and was determined to fight to his dying breath to uphold that

Amidst the chaos, the chieftain asked her to run away and contact Soei, and she did so. However, she got caught by the orcs and then the test is history. As big of a fool Gabiru might be, he still decided to keep the goblins he recruited safe instead of leaving them. That goes to show that he actually is a good person, just a big idiot. As of right now, it was confirmed that Gobta is, in fact, weaker than Gabiru, and the only reason he won was because he caught him off guard. Of course, we all know that Godta was just op and the author had to nerf him.
Power level weaker but potential is higher is what Gobta is Which fits Goblins compared to other races, their base is weaker but when evolved appropriately by the right person, their potential becomes significantly higher
I think in LN, Gobta is always fighting foes that are stronger than him, and gobta is not having OP abilities like the others, but he is a battle genius that makes him capable enough to battle the stronger foes. Especially on last arc.

This means they can become powerful way faster than gabiru can, who accumulates power like normal based on his own individual abilities. So orclord beeing much stronger than gabiru isnt really a fair comparison. Also as you can tell thr orc lord is directly supported by gelmud, cuz hes basically the "chosen one" among them. All the monsters that got names from gelmud only did so, to get them stronger and hopefully develop unique skill. All just so they would then get eaten and absorbed by the orclord to make HIM even more powerful. Basically they were just named to be more "nutricious" food for the pig.
Hell fire is a skill Benimaru develop by merging his ogres flame to black flame( he got it from rimuru naming him) and barrier magic. It basically black flame burn inside barrier and barrier don't let heat escape so heat just keep increasing and increasing burning everything inside it. It's energy efficiency too. Temperature inside can reach temperatures of sun.
Names work a bit like those in MMORPGs .. you fight lots of unnamed monsters, than some bodyguards, chiefs etc. that are a bit stronger and the strongest are the boss monsters with names .. Usualy nameing someone will give them a certain amount of energy, depending on the power and race of the one who gives the name and the capacity of the monster being named .. that energy is used by the monster to change appearance, race and strenghten attributes or skills .. so if the orc lord unlocks some unique skill while Gabiru "only" gained better attributes that can easily result in different power levels ... so Gobta might be a joke character, but he still looks like the same dorky goblin(?) he's been from the start .. one has to wonder where all that energy went

I love pre Ramiris Treyni. Shes beautiful and really strong. At least in the amount of magicules she has as much as Rimuru does right now, if not more actually. She was already at a level of a demon lord seed (though she probably doesn't have the skills and being a spirit she can't become one) magicules wise and Rimuru will make her twice as powerful when he gives her a body.

Speaking of V.A.s Benimaru's is the same guy that's Saitama from OPM.
