Toyota does make a 2015 FJ Cruiser. I believe they make up to 2023 for overseas markets? You are correct that 2014 is the final year for the North America market. I owned a 2011 in White, 2014 in black, and currently own a 2014 in Cement.

I bought my 2007 FJ from the original owner w 315000 miles 6 speed -very wheel taken care of and all service records since day 1 ! The original clutch gave out at 298000 miles, only because the disks spring worn out not the clutch material! Sold it w 321000 ..fun truck! (I buy and flip cars so I would buy another in the future! )

The engine refresh is a third valve per ever cylinder making 20 ish more hp's, but requires 93 octain. 07 to 09 requires 87 octane saving you moooooooore mula. Plus, the washer bottle will not have to be relocated when installing a snazzy tucked up steel bumper in comparison to a 10-14 year model. The 07 to 09 has the oil filter on top and the 10 to 14 has is down low. Not an issue, but it should be noted
They made the FJ cruiser up until 2022. They stopped selling them in the united states in 2014.
And it shares a ton of parts with the current 4Runner.

you can tell what year a vehicle is by looking at the vin number. Count 8 digits back. That number or letter indicates the year
Need to fluid film the frames annually or it’ll rust to dust
I picked up a 2014 Iceberg FJ from original owner 72 yr old guy all original no mods AZ car so it's like new garage kept.

Diamond cut wheels don’t last (alloy and black) they corrode quickly,even without damage!
