Worth noting, it's at least powered up - the tail-light is on as a rear marker

Why? The frame wasn't bent. That's easily fixable
If they were able to safely transport it from Homestead to Altoona without loading it onto a flatcar, there’s a good chance we’ll see 8099 back in service soon.
Frame isn’t bent. Everything is fine but the right side has damage a lot, the plow needs to replace. So it will be repaired.
THIS UNIT HAS BEEN IN SERVICE FOR DECADES, AND YOU WANT IT TO GET SCRAPPED? GET OFF OF HERE IF YOU DONT LIKE NORFOLK SOUTHERN AND RAILFAN CSX INSTEAD
