  • Welcome back everyone. In this vid we spend our first real day in the desert trying to find our sand feet having a lot of fun along the way, enjoy.

    Another great video mate, with some quality commentary, a few good laughs. You fellas make a good crew, looking out for each other well and having fun. I know that feeling of the slow going KMS wise at the start, it really is a tough old ride the French Line!

    I did this same trip few weeks ago on a xr416r big bore looks a bit dryer when u guys went through. We had nothing but mud pans. We did it east to west unassisted. Good job guys

    I rode through last weekend on me own on KLR. Those soft steep top of some dunes cut up by the 4wds were hard. well done boys.

      @anotherguyonabike4726 as long as I didn't stop it was all good haha!!. But you just had to hit them at the right pace and hang on. After unloading once when I fell just short, that the first gear tractoring worked very well. It wasn't pretty!

      Thanks man appreciate it. Yeah I would definitely look at getting my forks done to offset the extra weight, I done the rear spring but should have done the front. Possibly fit a Sargent seat as well for those bigger days on the bitumen. Thanks for watching mate👍

    Man, I effin hate riding in soft sand like that haha, add on bloody heavy bikes and I don’t how you guys do it.
    I’d love to do the crossing but I’d be doing it in the comfort of something with four wheels I think.

      Hey mate they were just cheap Chinese comms for this trip but worked pretty well considering they were like $35

      Hey David we are just using a set of cheap Chinese intercoms for this trip, they worked surprisingly well. Thanks for watching mate👍

      Yeah Roger that, they were good for us to communicate if one had fallen off or if there was a vehicle coming up the other side of a dune but that’s all we used them for. Thanks for watching mate👍
