We in 2025 now and people still a live inna zinc and board houses, then you have the half finished houses dem everyweh. Thats why the country look so chake chake and poverty ridden! Jamaica can do better!
This can be found in first world countries as well. Please stop expressing ignorance on the life status of many in the world. Many suffer from poverty due to many reasons. Either due to their own life choices or choices of third forefathers unfortunately. Other countries of first world ststus, people would not even have a home, they would be homeless. But you know this, you have seen this. Hence stop acting surprise about poverty in Jamaica.
@@YoungGeeMuzikYgMfthere is no point here. This person lacks the grasp of what poverty is, what causes it, how one's life style contributes to same. Every country has corruption and that is sad. But as Jamaica is now, it cannot deal with a corruption less world because we do not have the mindset of such people.
@ Which part the ignorant deh, or you just nuh like hear facts. Mi rather beg Anju fi likkle gravel and blocks and build a 1 room. Like i said Jamaica can do better, even the less fortunate can still live in a more stable home!
@monstarz9346 that is not how it works. To be truthful, the management of money in this country is way off. However do not take board houses as a global sign of poverty, their are many countries where having such homes is preferred. However I understand in this situation, poverty is the reason. The parts at play involve both the people and the government, it is not the government to blame alone. And as we stand here, we can't determine which has a larger weight on the current outcome, the lack of aid from the government or the choices made by the people (this does not include those who unfortunately lost housing from disasters for which it would not be their fault)

Better living conditions won't help with corruption. Still I've gotten your point.
