I completely relate to this. I had a friend that literally used to introduce me as "Gay Steve" and it was so ridiculous and uncalled for. I eventually told her to stop because I didn't go around saying this is my friend "Straight Jessica." So many people think we like being a stereotype of what society sets us to be. But call me by name bitch, bc we aren't defined by being gay. We are just like anyone else and shouldn't be treated as a token gay.
This reminds me of when white people change how they talk with a black people... like when Becky and Doug walked in the room it was "Hi guys"" but when I walk in it's "What's up homie?".
