@@torunsmok5890 no not really but it's surprisingly not far behind depending on the build. rivens for Kompressa can be kinda crazy. i have a heat multishot riven and it has 139% multishot on it and 106% heat. no negative modifier just those two stats.
@@torunsmok5890 Honestly, I really think it is. Kompressa has pretty bottom of the barrel base damage, so I prefer the flat damage of empowered, especially with a riven that adds heaps of multishot and status.
Using this on the Dual Toxocyst with punch through is pure dopamine. You just aim center-mass on the nearest enemy and the entire room behind him evaporates. It's wild.
That's exactly the weapon that came to my mind while watching this as well. To be fair tho, Dual Toxocysts with virually any random arcane equipped will still clear entire rooms with ease.
Even if I don't use it too often nowadays, I will always be fond of Cascadia empowered. It was the first weapon arcane I ever maxed, and I put it on my first non-archgun kuva weapon: the Brakk. It makes the thing pretty great as a SP-caliber single target delete button.

I just never see the point, i tested weapons that the wiki suggests and cascadia flare still kill enemies faster. The problem is that 750 damage isn't boosted by anything significant really, so when an enemy has 200k effective health 750 reduced to 6 isn't going to do jack. At least on steel path
it is not to substitute a meta weapon, but to make status weapons more fun, on regular game it isnt much, but when you get those on duviri circuit where you can have stuff spreading status and kill like a nuke , it is uber fun. i use wth my twin kohmak focused on status multi shoot, with pistoleer and it is super fun.
The problem with this arcane is the opportunity cost. There just aren't many weapons that have low enough base stats and high enough status procs per second to get value out of it. Pox and Kompressa are the only two I have it equipped on. Everything else gets Encumber, Flare, Merciless, etc. because those scale the weapon damage higher than the hard-to-buff flat 750 of Empowered. The real deciding factor, I think, is Radial AoE. Gun CO never works on radial damage and that one mod is where most status monster weapons like Nukor get their strength from.
I would love to see the devs introduce an arcane that is legendary that adds some of the incarnons ricochet ability as a low % chance (probaby 20-25% at max rank) to ricochet within # meters. Could be great for single target weapons in giving them slight aoe capability in exchange for not being able to put on something like merciless for more damage.
As a player who only plays once or twice a year, it would be nice to see Content creators like yourself do something like a six month update of current good gear weapons, warframes companions, etc. it’s too overwhelming coming back and a lot of things I loved just not being the same
The way I built Twin Grakatas, funnily enough, loves this arcane. Because even though the status chance is around 20%, it has a crazy high multishot, a 180 round magazine, and very good riven disposition, so it just brute forces corrosion procs with sheer BRRRRR
Bronco Prime Incarnon uses this arcane amazingly. 24 multishot before stacks of Galvanized Diffusion, 144% status chance from 3 60/60s, Galv Shot and Dizzying Rounds, and the last mod opens for finishers within 8 meters.
Here to remind everyone that qorvex's 4th also makes his 1st chyrinka pillar not only pulse faster but on every pulse all enmies get irradiated and explode . On every pulse, they explode, which then hits others and judt daisy chains infinitely till 1 remain. Caps at 6 per pulse, though it still chains on every enemy in range.
On the topic of buffing arcane's dmg If Kaliban's skill affects it, then, theoretically, sevagoth's reap buff should work, at least the dmg% buff. I'm not sure about his augment though.
Yep. Equinox Rage too. And since faction mods work, that implies Roar works too. One of these days I should check if Sentient Wrath stacks additively or multiplicatively with Rage and Reap.
What I find interesting a out Cascadia Empowered, is that it is a bad arcane that makes bad weapons good. 750 isn‘t a lot of damage. And if your weapon has enough damage, Secondary Encumber with Galvaniced Shot is just better. But if you have a bad weapon like the Pox, which deals way too little damage, and you add Cascadia Empowered (again, a bad arcane), the mix of both is actually good. Which I find very cool, and I would love if they figure out how to make more things like that, since it avoids making either the weapon or the arcane meta!
I would love to see an archon shard that grants a small piece of cascadia empowered. Something like +200 damage on status effect or +300 on a tauforged. If it stacked with empowered, it would make these niche builds even better, and it encourages building for status more.
From my experience Cascadia Flare is WAY stronger than Cascadia Empowered, on the Kuva Nukor. But I also didn't do too much testing with different factions and weapons.
It seems like Empowered is overlooked a lot and in the shadow since it's super niche, and it has to compete with Arcanes like Flare, Steel Path Arcanes, or Encumber. However, like you said it really helps with weapons who can't easily use those Arcanes due to either low base damage or lack of ways to proc the other Arcanes. Either way, thank you kindly for the helpful video, really helped show the usefulness of Empowered!
Not that Dual Toxocyst needed the help, but it works pretty well with this thanks to the fire rate buff on headshot, been running both C. Empowered and Cucumber set ups and they feel fairly competitive.
I am not sure if you revisited the Twin Grakatas recently, but they are basically full auto shotguns that shred Almost anything they are aimed at. In simulacrum the only enemy they couldnt outright delete was the Murmur Worm things . . . on steel path at lvl 195, otherwise everything else (that doesnt have absurd reductions) I tried gets disintegrated, and that was without using any arcanes.
Kinda wanna try this on My wild Twin Graks setup. It'd be a quick test I usually have the mighty cucumber with Gunditioned Overload and I'm running corrosive slash, but... I kinda wanna see how hard it's gonna hit pure toxin with Empowered and replace Jolt with Hornet Strike I doubt I'll be able to do boss kills with this setup like My main build, but maybe I could. What about the epitaph with this arcane??? Like just a pure primer epitaph with every status you can fit in it and just cascadia empowered to do dmg for you? Wouldn’t that work? And since epitaph applies status on the 8m radius, 10m for the prime, it will still apply the status on the edge on the explosion therefor doing all the dmg from the arcane…. YOOOOOO I NEED TO TRY THIS!
I'm so sad you didn't mention Kompressa; it's CRAZY on that weapon. High status, high multishot, fast fire rate, aoe - it makes the gun crazy, especially with innate Viral

I have always wondered in what cases does this arcane is good to use or even better than other options, because when looking at the effect does not make you think it is very effective or a worth arcane to run. Because when comparing it to Cascadia flare and having a 480% extra damage, it does not sound so powerfull

I'm kinda interested in trying this out with hikou prime and Toxic Lash. Concealed Explosives triggers Toxic Lash, and in a 10m range, further increased by Primed Fulmination. That setup already works pretty well against corpus, with Cascadia Empowered procs it could be ridiculous.

I feel like you’d be better off using Dual Toxocyst instead since its frenzying perk can refresh. Like I’ve always wanted to like the Athodai, but every time I use it I end up wishing I was using either Knell Prime or Dual Toxy instead.
Holokeys are relatively easy to farm, just do Void Storms. Depending on what zone, quantity changes, but still all ~37% chance as the end of mission reward (highest chance of any in the table). Lowest is 3 on Earth Proxima, highest is 10 on Veil Proxima.

afaik there is no reason to wait, passing the tutorials and getting used to the game is better than waiting, because of the new stuff is not on reach of newcommers.
Merciless is better than this arcane. The only way to properly utilize it is you need a weapon with trash base dmg so that merciless cant scale it too high. The only gun this arcane is viable on os a dmg kompressa set up. Watch Aznvasions video on this arcane
underrated for owning an opinion of a total trash arcane. Using Bleed/Tox on Grineer/Corpus is just lame. Next thing you gonna do is install expediate+faction mods. AS IF ANY OF IT WERE NEEDED
I think a better term than "Effective Status Chance" is "Status Per Second". It gets the point you are trying to make across better.

If secondary weapons could have two arcanes, this + cucumber would be the meta for any weapon that has high status proc rates i guarantee it

This saves kohmak. When weapon does a cloud of numbers it tickles my brain!

Should probably note from my own test. IPS doesn't seem to proc so be careful about using status weapons or trying to use those demios status mods.
I used this on the grimoire set up I run. Works pretty well. Very under-used arcane imho.

An educated guess would say no. Archon shard buffs status damage. The arcane does not deal status damage.

Pretty simple. Same as any other element. If your shot procs status, the arcane deals damage.
