🔥awesome edit and run down on the fitment. The souls look great on the factions, looking forward to the next reviews on rails, ledges a parks. Smashed it bro! 🙌🏻
Ahh so there's a protection angle too! Nice! They look really good on the factions. Shout out to Tay I think we need more Tay collabs before you leave❤
I still cant get wrap by head around a 400 dollar soul plate. I imagine the angle would make topsides easier to slip out but didnt seem like you had any issues
I know it’s crazy. I’ve spent a lot on lot shiny pieces of billet for my bike all precision cut etc etc and even taking into account brand names like my hope hubs and stem etc which are premium quality pieces of kit and don’t come in at anywhere near that price 🤦♂️
I mean if they are that much, where do I put the batteries in, or charge them lol? Or do they grind for you? Fun trash talk aside they do look dope but for something like that, I feel it's risky to pay that much for something not many people have had the chance to experience. Understandable money is needed to be made, but there as got to be a more cost effective way to try it and see if someone's really even willing to spend that much.
I love the udea the design and everything but I cannot justify that price, like for 100 150 max I would probably get one but to pay as much as the skate that's what I can't see ever happen. Great video as always tho
ANGLED SOULS appear to be the most logical design for a soul plate. I believe Rollerblade and Salomon (widebody) used slightly angled soles. PS: FRONTSIDE ROYALES on ledges can be more difficult than BACKSIDE ROYALES if riding ANTI-ROCKER or FLAT.
Right product aimed at the wrong people.....this is perfect for newer bladers to progress even quicker keeping them engaged in the sport.... I would use cheaper materials, injection mould and sell them to noobs (skateboard training wheel type product) or ask USD nicley to do it and hopefully give you 10% for the idea
My question is when they wear in and it’s less of a defined angle and more of a rounded surface, would that lead to you slipping off a lot? I can picture in my minds eye where they go from extremely good to extremely bad very quickly once worn in (acknowledging it might take a very long time to wear in).
Those look good for ledges. Do you think if they made the soul angle part juiced it would help more with rails? Like a juiced/angled in one? Or is that too much
I'm just gonna wait 10 more years where we will replace all wheels with a big chunk on plastic and call that "grind wheels ++" we will just run on that and slide. Zero wheel bite mark my word.
Ridiculous product. I cess slide a lot so I destroy my soul plates quite fast and the more they wear down the hardest they are to skate. Time to buy new ones is when I can't do certain switch ups on curbs. It is especially important for negatives which require a very sharp angle to hold. Also I skate m12 and vanilla ST8 so I have definitively no problem with a very small soul plate. This product is like buying an already super grooved frame, which if you skate flat is almost impossible to skate.
For $400 those soul plates better auto-lock grinds, walk my dog, and work my 12 hours shift for me 😂.
And make me a sub sandwich!
You got me back in to rolling as an old ass man (40). Thanks, keep em coming
There comes a point where price outweighs all pros.

Midtrick: "thereeee we goooo!" 🔥
Irollerboot out here hitting us with on the streets reporting
Frontside friends forever!

They look so much better on the Factions, than they do on the other skates.

seeking investment without returns
Just saw this comment about the price abs stopped watching at 10 seconds lol noo thank you
Seriously. I can't imagine spending more on soul plates than the skates themselves.

You’re a talented skater. I hope I can get my hands on these kind of souls
That true top acid cess to grind looked so good 👌

Yesss!!! Your back at the FirstCash ledges! Can’t believe it was 2 months ago you were there. Also I love the white cuff on the black factions.
tta and ttp were clean asf!!!

Ooooo those last two tricks were so fire! 🔥🔥🔥
Oh this is so cool! Just got mine for the SL
You should carry a stick of JB weld putty with you to stick in the gaps in ledges to smooth them over.
Its cheap, light weight and fits in a bag fine

my god that true top acid cess to grind is unreal. That's video game stuff when I was deep in the sport.
i’ve been waiting for this review
Would definitely like to hear your opinion of these on a straight ledge since I can stick long souls on curved ledges.
My question is when they wear in and it’s less of a defined angle and more of a rounded surface, would that lead to you slipping off a lot? They look pretty cool, just the price for me is a little wacky. I might get them though lol
man lookin' shteeezy out there in that fit son (angled souls look sick too)
def gave you style straight out the box no more standy uppy grinds. interesting how tye cheeky makio stall on the last bit just doesnt catch
Bro!!!🫡
Finally soul plates angled the right way. 😊
Let's go!
Aluminum core soles with sliders might be the future.
The fucking TTP battle! You can see the sun going down it took so long
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice
h3ll yea
Don't you afraid that the angle will be to big as you do more sas slid?
ouh, noice
400$ to grind on something that comes on my skates, in honor of julian bah nah fam im broke and i am sayin it

Has anyone rolled down that bridge and/or grinded that white ledge across the street
grinding it without prep would be hard, but there was a bmx dude who rode up and over! Look up Mat Olson Fort worth bridge
Roll down the bridge
400 dollars though? How durable are they?
400$ soulplates is outrageous lol, add that to the never gonna happen pile lol
I mean could you not just take some regular soulplates and take a belt sander and DIY this "angle"?
definitely cheaper than these plates ...

Great skating, testing this on c ledge is kinda saying nothing
