As a keen angler an even keener dog lover this was a bitter sweet watch for me and I am sure it must have been an extremely difficult video to make . Like your Rugger ,my Bandit (black kelpie cross)has been on adventure after adventure for the past 14 years. I took ownership of Bandit after he was found wondering the streets of Broome WA as a pup and was at that stage being looked after by foster carers through SAFE WA .I like to think that he may be closely related to Red Dog the famous kelpie that traveled around that area. We spent many a weekend exploring the Western Kimberley area around the Fitzroy river valley by 4wd and boat, tracking down pigs and freshwater Barra ,he was in his element there. But times change and I had to make the tough decision to head East, so we made the move in 2017 to Moore Park Beach.He still jumps in the tinny with me and loves the beach when we get to the Kolan mouth albeit a little slower getting around(both him and me) but he would never forgive me if I went without him ,I only have to put on my tackleworld shirt and he knows where we are heading. Rugger I have no doubt was grateful for the amount of love ,attention and experiences that your family provided him and he will be obviously sorely missed by all that had interactions with him. So long Rugger you legend and condolences to your family.
Bandit sounds like a cracker dog mate👌and sounds like he loves his life 😊 definitely one of the most emotional vids ive had to edit, that few minutes of Rugers clips... prob took twice as long as a normal clip and had a tear in my eye the whole time. Going to miss the big puppy
Gidday mate, I only found your channel recently and I’ve watched a lot of your vids and I’m going to miss him. I have my old hunting dog Jack who’s fifteen and a half limping a fair bit and I’m not looking forward to that day. Cheers, love your trips.
