Probably the best comparison i've seen. Props for actually throwing the pin down ball on the same line as the pin up. I hate when people do "comparisons" and just throw the two balls completely differently to get a strike instead of showing how they are different by rolling the same line.

Nice video Luis and good comparison. Have you tried pin to the side of the ring finger? That's how I have my Zen Soul and TNT Infused drilled. Works great for me when the lanes transition and my asymmetrical balls (all pin up) are too strong for the transition.

Another great one Luis. Generally speaking, layout matters, but in my opinion, as long as the ball doesn't track over the finger holes, it 's a good layout. I mainly have my pieces drilled pin up, but for me, I prefer to have my strong asymm ball drilled pin down. Nice jersey, channeling your inner Mike Fagan. 👍

Would it make sense to get a pin down for a strong sym like the Zen GPT?

Isn’t it more like pin high vs low based off your PAP? Not trying to be a smart ass, but I just recently got a new balled drilled for the first time in years, and I didn’t even get half way through mentioning pin up or down before the guy at the pro shop cut me off and said that it’s not about where it lies relative to the finger holes.

Does it really matter? Just asking.

For casual bowlers, not so much, but enough to sway your opinion on the ball (due to it's movement.) Most casual bowlers will keep their ball laneshined, which is around 4500, so then layout is the only difference.

@@jonathancaballeros3408 I'm not sure. I'm a 195 average bowler. I just take my bowling balls to the pro shop and he drills them. I haven't paid attention to if the balls were pin up or down. I figure I need to work on my game more than that.
