Wonderful to see ATV break flash again I remember 2 others as well there was 'Spring on ATV' that was shown every March & 'ATV at the Royal Show' shown every July. If my memory serves me correct these break bumpers were gradually phased out between March & July 1976 I missed them, much better than the black space between each commercial. Do you have any more of these? I also remember Westward used a white hexagonal between their adverts & LWT used 3 white squares that moved from the left to right with the final square filling the whole screen white, these were all phased out by 1980, but some areas used just one break bumper at the start of their adverts.Those were the golden days of ITV.
I am planning to post a few more ITV break flashes from Rediffusion, ABC, Channel, TVS, Thames, and LWT (the ITV franchises that bothered to have custom-made break bumpers) once I can find them. I'm waiting until the spring season to post the "Spring on ATV" break flash. Don't know about Westward's though, unfortunately...
