Yes - once the new franchise period began in 1993, they'd had to make severe budget cuts and you could see it in the quality of the programming, much of which was clearly produced on a shoestring.

Wales Playhouse? Never heard of it and I highly doubt I have any episode of it on my drive. I know it was on BBC Wales and not HTV...
