@@OdinSmilesRavensLaugh72051 True, but I don't see that doctor as a typical Cenobite. He seemed to get strength directly from that hell tentacle he was dangling from. damn I almost didn't watch this video but I'm sooooo happy I did, this lore is so much more interesting than in the movies - I still really like a lot of the movies, but yeah, this should be a tv series for sure - I know it would be dark and fucked up, but I think these characters and stories are a strong reflection of certain archetypes/stereotypes/patterns of human behaviour - I think Clive's source material is very important for reflecting the darkness in the human psyche, I almost think that Clive's portrayal of these archetypal behaviours of lust/desire in such demented ways are necessary stories to be told so as to learn from them whether it's someone who is playing with different masks to do evil things, or someone who sexually abuses children, or someone who maybe traffics children... these things exist in the world, and Clive's stories are an important part of modern mythology in that his stories are about some of the worst human behaviours/actions. Clive's stories are important, and deserve far better representation and public awareness imo
My favourite character has always been the Hellpriest himself. I don’t know why but all he has to do is stand there and open his mouth and that makes him sinister as hell.
Maybe these cenobites could appear in a hellraiser film that retcon every single hellraiser film after hellraiser (with Doug Bradley returning as Pinhead of course)

I always wondered how the angels and heaven looked in the hellraiser universe
Two words: Biblically Accurate
There is a reason that whenever they appear they always say "do not be afraid."
The angels of Hellraiser would look like Carebears, the complete opposite to hard, spiky and rough texture would be squishy bubbly and silky-fuzzy
