This is a great video! I love the way your baby Sophie is so snuggly with you. Very interesting how her colour changed. I've also learned that the generation makes a difference to the fur type. Apparently an F1 is more likely to have loose wavy fur and less likely to have curls. Whereas with an F2 it can be more random. Ollie's nose is growing further from his eyes every day, like Sophie's did! 🥰
Thank you lovely! How exciting to watch all the changes in him. Ollie's such a good little boy - I was very impressed with his behaviour in Bunnings. I'm really glad you're watching him closely in the dog park, allowing him rest time when needed from the rougher-playing dogs. Lots of positive experiences as you say! I do go in to dog parks occasionally with Sophie when there are just a few dogs around. Her current obsession is running after the frisbee - by some miracle, she retrieves it back to me to throw again (I wish it translated to retrieving back tennis balls - it simply doesn't!). Wishing you a speedy recovery to good health 🙏🌞💛
Thanks for watching. I hope you find lots of interesting bits of information here. Enjoy the journey with young Johnny... he'll only be that small for a matter of weeks! x
Hi Sandra, what an exciting time ahead of you with your puppy! Yes, they end up different to each other, but all gorgeous in their own way. Thank you for watching x
Thank you Marcella :) Sophie hardly sheds at all. Almost nothing. It's not always the case with Goldendoodles though. I made this video about the breed, including the different types of coats and coat characteristics ua-cam.com/video/F4CPh-lxT9k/v-deo.html
Hi, broadly speaking, it depends on the size of poodle (toy, mini, moyen or standard) that the golden retriever is bred with. This video may help a little more ua-cam.com/video/F4CPh-lxT9k/v-deo.html
My standard F1 is 87 days old and he sheds do you think this is going to be going to be the normal as he grows his adult coat? I allergic and this is why I went with a goldendoodle. But obviously he’s family now so either way but hoping it stops when his adult coat comes.
Hi Nathan, what joy that you have a goldendoodle pup in your life! It's hard to tell about the coat exactly but given they're half golden retriever (a breed that sheds) it certainly does happen. Another thing is that there's a puppy coat and an adult coat that they get at around 1 year old which may be different. I made this video about all the breed characteristics (including coats) which may help. All the best x ua-cam.com/video/F4CPh-lxT9k/v-deo.html
Hi Jasmyn, that's exciting for you. At first use whatever food the puppy is being fed by the breeder. if you would like to change the diet, do this very gradually by introducing a small portion of the new food with the old food a little at a time at first then over a week or 2 greater proportions of the new. I fed my dog 3 times a day when she was very little, but when she was about 4 months old I changed to twice a day. Keep weighing your pup so you know what quantity of food to feed it in relation to its weight as it is growing (so as not to overfeed or underfeed). All the best x
