That statement by the killer -- the most chilling, believable thing I've heard on a Dragnet episode. Well done.
It’s not dead it’s pining for the fjords. Lovely plumage.
Another classic line from that program: the police officer saying "All right, what's all this then?".
Later adapted for television on March 13, 1952.
Love that announcer, "Your job is... to get him."
Room 42 Homicide.. I love that line 😎
Me too.
These and Gunsmoke the audio is great, some of the old Black Museum and The Shadow episodes aren't in such good shape.
Loving those cigarette commercials. 😆
Extra MIEELD
"Lee Jones" man from the Police crime lab - the guy that voices that character - he seems to also voice witness characters in some episodes.
His name is Herb Butterfield.
At the time, he was also the "Chief" on Brian Donlevy's "DANGEROUS ASSIGNMENT".
He did. He sometimes was a witness or a suspect when he wasn't playing Lee.
Holy moley - the narrative from the murderer is so cold and horrifying! Who was that actor?
Stacy Harris, a Dragnet regular and good friend of Jack Webb.
seemed like a nice guy, letting the cops search his place without a warrant and all
Ya , I Don’t think they worried about such nonsense 😆
Boy ... that was a grizzly one .😲 that poor secretary .. lookin at that guy .. taking his statement.. creepy all right 😳
No kidding. This one is one of the worst. And there are some bad ones.
Spoiler alert, don't read the comments before you listen to the show.
Sorry . I will be more careful 😎
But it was Grizzly 😮
@@heyoldman2003 Imagination, best special effects ever made.
I wonder if he got a couple bottles of Roma wine and a pack of Fatima's?
Made in California for enjoyment around the world!
Jack Webb is A Savage!!!
Why do you hate the police, Wanda?
