We visited a couple of days after they opened.

I went to Popeyes and had a burger, I thought it was really good, I love Helen’s review 🤣
🤣 the burger I had did have a bit of spice/ jalepeños in the mayo, but all the fast food places over here have "sweet" bread... hard to describe till you've had it... cheers for watching. Still prefer the chicken we had over there 😋😋😋😋😁 🇹🇭 🇹🇭
A fair review of the good and bad. Our experience with the one in Novelda was a bit less positive, Lillian tried one piece of chicken and said it`s all yours, bonus I thought more for me 😁in the end I think the bin enjoyed it the most 😂

As you stated in video, they have been around since the early 70’s in the US so they must be doing something that people like. They offer more sides here in US like red beans and rice and mashed potatoes and gravy and their buttermilk biscuits are good. I think they put too much coating on the chicken pieces though for my liking. I don’t understand why they call it a burger though in Spain as we just call it a chicken sandwich. They introduced the chicken sandwich in 2019 to rival another fast food chicken place called Chick-fil-a and it was an instant hit. Yes Helen the breast always seems to be dry but I don’t like the thigh so your best option might be the tenders. I think it’s popular with people who like that Louisiana Cajun spice. That being said I rarely go to fast food places except Burger King which is my guilty pleasure. Ciao

Had Popeyes in Benidorm and didnt enjoy them at all, but weve had them in the southern states of the USA and they weren't bad.
I think they need to be busy to keep the products fresh and moist.

Great video. As regards the fries and greasy KFC chicken anything greasy use an airfryer fries will be like ust cooked from the fryer and chicken will crisper

There is a massive drive from Popeyes to expand across europe. There are around 50 stores in the uk now, but they are looking at doubling that in the next 2 years! Another great video guys, will have to give it a try for a take out one night.

Their spicy chicken sandwich pretty darn good and spicy fried chicken, those are what they are known for.

I agree we went Sunday 9th June my chicken really over cooked and fries over cooked they were precooked put in clear trays and got out when people ordered them so stale and really crunchy chips was very cold the other thing good was Ice cream and sauces I had a 25!minute wait and as a signed up member like McDonald's where as you get points they didn't go on my account. Bug you are 100% accurate but yes better than KFC as KFC is greasy mucky good I hate it there but priced reasonable I give it a 5 out of 10.
When we saw what you wrote on fb we knew it may not have been a one off- we filmed this about 3 weeks ago? (The weekend it opened)

KFC of course!! The originals are always better than the imitations, here in Albacete, Popeyes is about to close due to its poor quality (re-fried)
It was very refried but, they had only been open a few days. However, I think most of us did prefer KFC. Thanks for watching and the comment 😊
